If you have better operators of the same category, you can replace them.
It's not essential to follow the steps perfectly accurately.

So here's a funny thing, if you retreat Lava on the exact millisecond in which she kills the last enemy at about 4:00 into the video, when you try to auto this stage there's a chance the enemy will survive with a sliver of HP left and proceed to walk to the goal, ruining the entire strategy. I recommend waiting a couple of seconds after she kills it in your live run just in case, otherwise I guess you can level Lava up a couple of times in order to eliminate that chance.

Yeah, just level your ops 10 or 20 levels above the recommended level for a stage and you'll have a better chance

@@conwaysquest6961 Possibly if she's a high level. But you really need to have an arts AOE damage dealer since 3 of the 4 enemies have high defence but low res. Greyy is enough if you E1Lv50 him. Gitano E1 is definitely enough. Idk about other OPs 'cus Greyy, Gitano and Lava are my only AOE arts dd.

Had to adopt my own strategy since I actually don't have enough low star operators upgraded high enough to do this but the knowledge of what needs to be blocked at roughly what time helped a lot still, higher star doesn't always mean better, since they do cost more to deploy. Thanks for the helpful guide still :D
Started to level up Kroos to do this, before deciding to make it work with Exuisai (pulled her on the starter banner so I've been using her since the beginning). I found it's better to place Courier or whatever Vanguard you use in the top right before Exusiai, because otherwise you run out of DP to get Cuora down in time. I used Vigna personally and the 12 DP boost gave me plenty to get Cuora down. Then you place Perfumer (who I had, I'd guess it would work with the other medics but I really don't care to try cuz this level was hard to micro). After that DP opens up some more so it's just following the strategy with swapped operators. I managed to do it with that and a few other swaps (Vigna over Plume, Sussurro instead of Hibiscus) but those were equal levels or lower.
@@u_ufishdu_u2063 Personally I threw down Scavenger bottom right and Texas bottom left, as soon as I could I tossed my E2d Specter top right and then Exu just next to Texas facing north, she picks off the drones on the north side without getting shot. By that time I can almost trigger texas and scavs abilities again and dropped Cuora at the very last second to stop someome wandering in. Then pop texas sword rain to stun a drone and give myself an extra second to toss down my aoe healer who saves Exu from getting shot dead. From there all I really needed to do was throw down an aoe arts user top left and another healer since Exu puts out enough dps to down some lf the big fellas that the aoe brings low.
Specter also had a bit of trouble with the big boys on the top right since they take big ol honks out when they smack her, for that I just waited until the left side was clear monitoring her health as needed and then threw down some more dp before recalling Texas, allowing me to toss an operator down to help dps, generally better if they deal arts damage, or just swap scav out for silverash who can help witb drones and use his win button powers on the two big boys. Like I said this guide helped me find a way to do this cause it gave me the knowledge. Proved that cause auto deploy suddenly fucked something up, not sure what cause the only thing I did was mastery 1 Exu's skill 3 and then suddenly the game was like "nah something happened to specter and she died" so had to redo this.

crazy how I thought this was another one of those "pay to play" games where it gets to a point that is impossible without higher rarity operators but here you are destroying with literally the base line characters. I'm just bad I think lol
sometimes the noob units are better since their dp costs often lower (you're more likely to have them max potential too)
Yeah, even the robots are really useful in tight situations. Also, I thought that the starter operators (Yato, Corne, Rangers, etc.) are all gonna be replaced but tbh they are the most useful operators in the base (they just need to be leveled up). This game gives all operators a reason to be used and I love it.

There's no way to nor to get a 6 star operator even one's tho. This game is more fair, but still you have to farm alot.
This level is better for low rarity operators, but the later ones would need 6 stars
For anyone who doesn't have cuora, try making your jessica or any other sniper you put there facing left so it can at least kill one of the enemies and your tank can hold on 3. After the air snipers lessen just follow the guide and replace sniper with aoe caster but the timing needs to be precisely right so aoe caster could also kill the remaining aerial enemies too before they entered the blue cube

Just a tip for those who has different operators. replace your vanguards according to the damage they deal. place the vanguards with defense as their role on the right side and the vanguards at attack as their role on the left.
That doesn't work. You need to place operators in the beginning both to get you the most DP as quickly as possibly and to block the units that come at you immediately. So you can't really pick and choose this way as you have to choose based on which will earn you the most DP. And frankly the level design for this was shit. The most important part of a tower defense is that there is a long corridor the enemies have to walk through. NOT 3 FING SPACES FROM 4 AREAS. This is just bad game design.
Anyone who tries to defend the bad game design for most of the later levels is a fanatic who refuses to admit that the levels were made too hard and are thus antifun which violates the purpose of a video game.

@@GeorgeMonet If a mouthbreather like me can do it, then so can you. Grinding isnt fun, but its the part of the game. Also, use cheap operators. Better to leave the higher ranked ones for raids and story missions.

Cuora is really essential in a lot of levels with that amazing ability of hers. I hate how she got replaced by Ethan which I never had a reason to buy. So all I can do is hope I get her in recruitment or roll for her in some banner.

Well, here I am, back at the old video. Watching your video always makes me feel nostalgic, it reminds me of when I just started the game and had to use low-rarity units 'cause the DP costs always f**ked me over. Glad that I can use my full 5*-6* team in LS-5 by now and don't have to wait for those Butchers on top right to die.

Blessing up again! I've been putting this stage off for so long. It took a bit since I wanted to have some higher level units in the mix, but I could adjust and it worked!
Very helpful, thanks. I've also had good results with replacing the Vanguards in the two bottom lanes with Ranged Guards; they get less dangerous enemies during the mid/late stages of the map so the Ranged Guards can help with the upper lanes.

After hours of bashing my head against the wall, I managed to finally get a run with Siege to work. All it took was E1ing my Texas so I could get the extra DP, and her S2 to delay the Junkmen.

@@conwaysquest6961 no, if you get two stats you got less drops, i recommend trying LS-4 or LS-3 instead until your unit is stronger

I actually had to remake the Auto-Deploy for this because I just E2'd Cuora and the DP gained on it was too tight and didn't recover in time.
But all I needed was switch Zima for Texas and get the DP needed and it's functional again.

Thanks for the guide! I was having some trouble with the part where Cuora needed to block 4 enemies until the AOE caster takes out one of them. What worked for me is to place Plume facing up instead of left (I used Vigna instead); as long as no bugs get through in the first phase, she can help out with clearing an enemy.

i didn't have cuora, so instead with much trial-and-error i replaced her with liskarm and beanstalk, placing peacake diagonally to the left of liskarm and activating her skill at just the right time... thank you SO much for the guide, it was incredibly useful to use as a basis!
Dur-nar S2 was a good replacement for Cuora, skill timing was when the third shield guy spawned, everything else went exactly the same with much less pressure. Also, AOE healer makes this strat so much easier, its insane.

Man, really , you are the best. It took me 17th tries before finally pulling out this strategy of yours. The hardest parts on this one is pulling the 1:33 with the tank then healer, for my lack of DP. That one took me honestly 15th tries. The other 2 were on the last stage with the big guys overpowering my vanguard on 3:36

So, for doctors who wanna try a slighty different setup but following the same logic overall, you can replace Plume with Vigna, Courier with Zima, Vanilla with Fang, Gavial with Perfumer or Breeze, Cuora with DurNar (yes she has 1 block less but kills enemies faster with Arts damage, so she only uses 2 block and doesnt need help from Lava), Kroos with Blue Poison, Meteor, May or April, and Beagle with Saria\Gummy. As long as you keep the idea, generating DP, low cost sniper, blocking 2 enemies, keeping units from dying, or stuff like that you can keep tweaking it to your style.

I have a higher rarity team but only e1 but if you have a platinum her e1 and use s2 you can put her in kroos' place and she can hit all the drones without Jessica so you can put your caster down much earlier and not need a 4 block cuora on position.
There's probably a better way to do it but I just adapted your strat to work with what I had, thanks man!

Funny story: I kept getting one of them passing even thought I completely follow the guide but didnt see it, it was around 50+ enemy and was too hectic to see. I kept thinking that one of my vanguard wasnt strong enough. So, I had to record it and look back to see that one of the shielder slowly pass by Cuora and enter the hole, lol. I never look at her once I use her ability only to realize I didnt switch it.

Would you recommend replacing low rarity with higher but ofc more expensive? E.g. I replaced Lava with Skyfire (I've never invested in Lava coz I pulled sky right in the beginning), Ansel and Hibiscus with Silence and Shining. I've thought in my mind about replacing Kroos with Platinum but idk. I also replaced Plume with either Vigna or Texas. Oh and btw, amazing video man. I started 4 days ago and stuck on some levels until I watched your videos and damn, those strategies are very useful and creative. Thanks man!
I am having problems because I don't have a tank like Curoa with her 4 block thing, any other part of the stage works for me, any ideas?

Yeah, I did the same. And as a bonus I didn't need to use lava on the left side and instead placed her on the right side to help with Armed Militants.
Yup, I still deployed her just in case but dur could easily solo that lane.
And the extra DPS against those big guys on the right side is very helpful.

underleveled and no cuora, just paradropped utage because whenever i run lava my second medic gets overloaded and everything just immediately falls like dominos. still, all your strats help me out so much after I've vaporized all my practice drills

i always stuck at early game cuz i don't have enough dp, i watched ur strategy and i realized i have done fatal choice... i tried your strategy(with different operator) and it work thank you very much :3
A good variation if having issues with tanking on the right, is to switch out lava while leaving cuora to tank the last enemies and place the medic with the tank on the right. It will take longer due to lacking dps on both tanks until plume is retired, but will gain survivability.
Finally I have Cuora for this stage and pass it! Thank you!
I followed the guide was confused why someone still goes through the defense. Turns out I forgot to switch Cuora's skill to the other one.

Because I have yet to E1 my Cuora I replaced her with Nearl. And because she only blocks 3 I had to replace Ansel since I haven't done any work on him with Melantha just to drop her in when the 4th guy arrives in front of Nearl to block him long enough for one of the other three to die. And they weren't able to do much against Nearl to begin with since she can just heal her self up let alone having 2 healers as well.
Then I accidentally dropped Beagle in late so she didn't have her skill up until the 2nd big guy reached her but because I have her at E1 lvl 55 skill lvl 6 she was able to tank it with only 2 healers just fine.

I would recommend using a third healer if your Beagle or Vanilla keep dying on you. As soon as the two bottom left Junkman die, remove Plume and add a healer at the top-right. Good luck
Is there a way to do this without Cuora? I wasn’t investing in her at all. I’m doing well without her on all other stages. Would E2 Silverash help me or anything? One enemy slips through bc I have a normal 3-block tank in place of Cuora :(
if you have enough DPS to kill them you dont need 4 block defender

Now, onto what worked for me:
My operators weren't super leveled, and Cuora isn't in the voucher shop anymore, and I was having trouble killing the big guys on the left and right.
And I was using a single target healer up top, which was tough, though maybe better idk (I'll explain what I mean in a second).
Basically, what worked for me was ignoring the drones and deploying Lava earlier on, on the left facing down to help out the operator on the bottom too. Since I didn't deploy Jessica I was able to deploy Lava quicker.
The problem there is that the drones will start killing lava pretty quickly, and my single target healer had to decide on who to heal, which prevents Lava from being focused on. (= death)
Swapping out the bottom left vanguard with Gumi relieves that pressure and helps that healer focus on Lava, allowing Lava to also kill some drones and to survive to kill more drones and big boys (assuming the healer can heal enough per heal)
Likewise, swapping in Beagle on the top right at the right pause between waves allows her to charge up her defense buff quick enough. (it's close though)
And once the drones are dead and gone you can replace your bottom right archer (Kroos) with another AOE caster.
Hopefully the bottom left and bottom right finish early and you can deploy other units to help finish off any stragglers.
(My Beagle was starting to crumble under their attacks)
This should work, although idk if your top-left defender is good enough at dps or not.
(I chose my 6* Hoshiguma sooo..., but her S1 only increases atk by 10% atm. Not sure what to suggest. Hopefully your Lava is good enough)
Also I was using Perfumer on the bottom and Silence on the top, with Silence's S1 which increases atk and sp I think.
Due to these specific high-rarity units I can't guarantee this approach will work for everyone.
This probably won't help many (or any?) people, but wanted to share my slight modification to get it to work.
Deploying lava on the top left earlier and having her and the bottom right archer deal with drones might be what you need if the big baddies are sneaking through on the left.
And swapping the bottom right archer with another AOE caster could do the trick.
not as hard as I thought with my operators lol. I skipped so many mechanics. Thanks for the guide, it was great help.
tested this strats with expensive/ high rarity unit. Still works so its good! I seen strats by other people before which are too cost specific in such that you can't even substitute them with another stronger/high rarity unit at all.
But this strats is good, the strats doesn't suffer too much from replacing other unit with stronger/high rarity unit!!!!

This is the level that finally made me appreciate and level both of my "DP on kill" vanguards (Vigna and Plume), because even when using a 3-4 stars team, there just wasn't enough DP for 4 blockers, 2 snipers and a heal. And when my entire team had to gang up on the last heavy enemy I was sure it's because I suck at the game, but apparently that's just how it supposed to go if even KyoStinV did it.

I unfortunately haven't unlocked Cuora, but I got Liskarm when I started the game and realized that she can substitute Coura by using her Arts Damage S2 if you E1 her. Thanks for the guide KyoStinV!
I feel like alot of players at this point already knows but:
Please don't blindly follow these strat with other Operators without proper planning when you start doing Elite 1 Level 50+ missions. While this strat works perfectly for the Low-Star Operators, it will NOT always work with Higher star Operators for 2 important reasons:
DP Cost is NOT The same
Skills are NOT the same
Kroos here is a prime example, her skill to able to shoot 2 Arrows at a time is one of the biggest difference, seeing how she can shoot 2 things at once every couple of seconds, or shoot 1 thing with 2 arrows for double damage. If you don't use her and use someone else who has a higher attacking skill, but is only single target, you'll notice drones surviving more than shown in this video. Sure, Meteor can do extra-damage to Drones, but since she cannot multi hit like Kroos, and her S2 takes longer to charge compared to Kroos constant S1, you'll find drones not dying in time at all.
Also DP cost. Plume, Vanilla and Beagle have very low DP cost compared to some operators of similar style. Higher rarity Operators can EASILY ruin this strat if you blindly follow it. For example, replacing Plume for Bagpipe and Vanilla for Texas for example, you're already spending an extra 8 to 10 extra DP just to use them, meaning your later units could potentially come around slower and potentially leak an enemy through before you can deploy them. Or, if you decide to replace Lava for Skyfire, Skyfire costs WAY more than Lava and can easily lead to you not having enough DP in time potentially for other Operators.
Lol so if people plan to use different Operators but try and follow the EXACT same tactics, make sure you calculate DP cost/Skills carefully, or come up with different deployment order if necessary. xD
