u people are never happy. bungie tried to fix that problem with flawless pool and people who were good abused the system by intentionally resetting their cards at 6 wins to vs bad people. u suggest something rather than complaining 24/7. clown
Trials is about to be soooo much better. Very much looking forward to next season. I think the progression youre talking about will be much more possible soon.
@geekred yeah. Trials needed to change. I have been flawless about 20 or so times in D2, both playing with friends and also solo. But this mode needs to evolve from what it has been. It has gotten so bad that I usually only play if I feel I have to. That's not fun. I am so excited for the changes honestly.
With changes coming to Trials next season, player population will go up and matches won't feel like it is impossible to win. Right now Trials population is so low most of avg people has stopped playing, only sweats play that game mode.
@@BradleyTheBradsterit won’t be that way for more then 1 or 2 weekends and the “returning players” will leave again because trials is what it is and it’s never gonna be something different. Seen it over and over again.
I'm gonna give you some feedback. You're staying scoped in too long when you see someone, then lose line of sight of them. Try not to hold just one lane cause that's when they're just team shooting you and/or someone sees you on radar, but you can't see them on yours. Always have a way out, if the position you're in has good cover but doesn't give you an out and if someone sneaks around, then holding a lane will (75% of the time) get you out of the fight.
It took me since year two of D1 to get my trials flawless, and finally did last year. And it took me some time spent with some really good players to learn and adapt to it. It’s not impossible, if you get to learn it for what it is, you’ll overcome and maybe even top frag every game. I don’t come close to some of these guys and I got a few flawless on my name now so yeah. Giving up is the last thing anyone wants to do. Even new players.
10:11 yeah, thats what happens when the game is 10 years old. people know this game better than their own body. on the point of two trials modes: problem is player base. first its half n half and with that, minutes of load times. then everyone goes to the easy one. switch back n forth etc.. (wanna limit one playlist to people who have below a certain number of flawless cards? 🌈alt-accounts🌈, ✨cheaters farming stats✨) there is no elysium for the trials community. thats a fact. its just too old. too evolved from its origins. people who are casual have no place there by the design of open skill matchmaking and competetive rewards. what most people like to forget that there is another type. theres the casual who just plays to play AND theres the player with casual level of skill who hasnt earned 5+ years of competetive d2 pvp experience yet. and that second type, that actually wants to be good, but has no real way of getting better due to basically getting throwing into a masters degree as a kindergarden child, thats the one bungie should appeal to. how that should be done? its quite difficult, if you want open skill, to change trials itself to be the training grounds of the next generation of high skill players. therefore in my opinion, the far better choice is to improve upon the competitive playlist. ranked is literally the mode where you play your own skill level until you improve enough to go up in rank and repeat the same process. so comp really only needs a marketing rework to ALSO(NOT SOLELY) act as a trials trainings ground. give comp win streak cards in a bounty like fashion, giving the player a tangible reward while also tracking their progress. that reward could rank from comp themed cosmetics(bungie would never) to simply resources, emblems, additional comp. weapon focuses, artifice armor etc. oh what do you say? all these rewards exist already? damn, you see, marketing is all thats needed. and thats just a crappy idea of mine. please whoever reads this, share your thoughts, i would love to discuss this.
Trials is rough brother, but playing in a triple stack is virtually impossible. You’ll run into the Diffizles of trials, the .001% and just get fucking smoked. Solo queue on Friday night is a little better tbh
A lot of the casual PvP players are the first ones to call Trials "Ass" or "not fun" when it's what's considered End Game Activity. You can get an adept weapon from trials without going Flawless because people bitch and complain. The new version of trials people will be able to go to the lighthouse without going flawless because people bitch and complained. End Game Activities is NOT for everyone.
Your shots are pretty good dude, use cover more, don't challenge when your health and shields are low. It's okay to run away. Also aztecross likes you, I'm pretty sure he would run trials with you, might even bring a friend with him.
I’m not the best trials player by any means but it helps a lot to play with the same 3 people and develop strategies with them. It takes practice but if you play with those teammates enough to where you all start having positive k/d’s (not assists) then you will eventually get to the light house. Movement, positioning, and communication are the keys.
It's absolutely absurd to me that some of the best in slot weapons in this game are locked behind other players. And I say this as someone who's gone flawless multiple times.
Now from watching a little more of these games one thing that you really Gyat to work on is that you don't know when to take out your shotgun. Shotguns require you to be quick so if ur not quick then I suggest a fusion but yeah be ready to fucking swap that's why handling is so important on a shotgun
I honestly feel so bad for you that current D2 trials is your first experience, trials and pvp in general has been in a horrible place for so long at this point that I only play to get certain weapons and I used to love playing pvp all the time
This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I think comp is the best place for players to learn how to get better at pvp. You will always match people that are either in your rank or one up/below, so you as you get better, so does your competition and you can experiment what works best for you and how good your loadout really is. The playlist is a mess, I wont lie about that, but I do believe it is a great place to practice getting better at pvp as long as you go in it with the mindset that the games don’t matter and you are just trying to get better.
Trials is where the "real gamers" are at. i'm half kiddng of course. The skill gap in trials is extreme. You either get Elite teammates or little billy who has no idea whats going on. Solo queue is a nightmare. you need at least one person with u that u can communicate with and pray the random can just do something. Thankfully they are making trials more approachable and now anyone can reach the light house no matter the losses. Flawless is still the goal if u want the best rewards tho. And also skill based matchmaking wont kick in till u have a truely flawless card. I understand they have to balance everything around TTK but handcannons especailly 120 are a bit to strong. In the right hands they are deadly, they need to reduce their effective range
Brad, some people are just good at pvp, some aren't. If you don't hit consistent headshots, you'll lose. That's why I don't pvp. My reflexes suck at pvp, and I know it. Why stress myself. Not that serious.
Bradley reminds me of that damn blueberry I get when I need one more win to go flawless and the RNG gods F me. I have to activate sweat mode cause he’s hard 🚮 who’s gunna carry the BOATS!!!!
Not bad for a first timer but imma give you some advice on what i think is the easiest load-outs to run. For a primary the bxr is a legendary with exotic stats its crazy good gun plus you can craft it. I would pair with chape but you can use any exotic or legendary of your choice ideally something medium to close range cause that pulse has great range already. Ok for armor i would run void warlock bc of the boop melee that pushes people back can really mess them up. Also child of old gods and great fragments bc its a void subclass. The exotic armor either ophidians, transversives, or maybe you can run a rogue void exotic.
it's a different playstyle...you did good but you can't play trials the same way you play sixes...it takes some map knowledge, predictive behavior, and a different kind of situational awareness...you can definitely get better...recommend listening to some advice from cammycakes on how the playstyle is different
trials is changing next season to hopefully encourage more people into it but it wont solve the fundamental issue of the meta being shite (120 HC, 140 HC especially Rose, smg spam, as well as shotguns 1 hit killing at like 10 meters almost) and the insane increase in cheaters and xim users. Trials will be back for one weekend before the casuals never touch it again.
Just like the game of POKER. That first winning hand…makes you think you’ll be a millionaire in NO TIME! LOL. BTW…the WARCRY playing all girl team…”CLAP DEM CHEEKS!”

Agree😂
Hahaha fr. Unfortunately I'm so jaded by pvp now I can no longer delude myself into this way of thinking, but I remember when I could 😅

Next season, Trials is completely changing. This is the end of Trials as it has been known for the last decade almost.
Honestly so glad. I've played since day 1 d1 and only went flawless twice in d2. And they were by luck
