Are you transcoding to ProRes on ingest. Also, what kind of ND filters are you using? Mine never seem to be truly neutral.
Yes transcoded in Prores in FCPX to edit softly. ND variable filter is HAIDA Pro 2

Beautiful images unfortunately there is a lot of banding due to of course RUclips compression. I would love to see the uncompressed images I'm sure that they would be nothing short of spectacular.

How do you get such a sharp colourful image when using Ciné-D all on -5 without any faded look? What are you doing in colour correction to make it look so nice?
Thx. Well, I spend a lot of time on color grading as I love it. I begin with basic color correction and then I add several Luts and mix them. But this kind of result is possible thanks to GH5 10bits files....They are really great.
Any chance of a tutorial of sorts because this is some of the best colours I've seen. I would have loved to have had a read through your blog but I don't speak French unfortunately
Wow dude love that shot at 1:46 of the rain on the dry cracked ground. Excellent video, with that 400mm focal length on a GH5 you'd of had some serious zoom, especially with the internal teleconverter! Were you using OSIRIS Luts? Am heading to Namibia in September for round 2, can't wait!

Wonderful footage and nicely edited. You said you used Color Finale + several LUTs. Does this mean you stacked the LUTs on top of each other using something like adjustment layers? Or you used different LUTs for different scenes? Thank you so much and keep up the good work :-)

Oui bien sur : je me suis mis au montage juste au moment où FCPX est sorti et je l'ai trouvé tellement convivial que je l'ai adopté direct. Et si au début il manquait bcp de choses, là c'est vraiment top, il a tout ce dont on a besoin. Rapide et efficace (pour un prix vraiment serré).
