I would love to do a 350x but they are so hard to find at a decent price. If I can ever find a reasonably priced project 350x, it will definitely be built on this channel!
The next build is secured! The only thing I will say is I'm going back to a quad ... I will reveal in the next video if the weather will ever get back to normal here in Phoenix, AZ!

The headlight bezel is a 350x from Maier and the lights are 4" LED lightbars here - amzn.to/3ip2Vlz ... This setup will work on your 83 but you will have to do some converting from AC to DC with some kind of regulator rectifier. Also you should check if the stator puts out the proper wattage to run the 36 watts (2 x 18W LEDS). I know the first gen stators are not quite as powerful as the 86 (2nd gen).

I had the tank chemically stripped (outside and inside) by xpressmetalcleaning.com/ here in Phoenix, AZ but now I need to clean out all the remnants and dirt that was left behind ...

did the 86 fix the kick start issues i hear about with the 83-85s?(weak kickstarter/slipping)
Yes, the kicker is much better in the 1986 ... and you don't have to split the cases to fix it!
