      A RUclips video is just a pre recorded monologue but teaching it live requires more time naturally. It’s not like those professors are dumb or incompetent, the environment is just different.

      @@azarakhshsawmen127 and yet quite a few of those lecturers fail to do an effective job of explaining those concepts, which is why such a big market for RUclips teachers exists. The professors are mainly there (at least in STEM) to conduct their research. Brilliant, while they are, teaching and knowing are 2 very different skills. The teaching of these courses is only one of the conditions of their research fundings. Thus, while professors are amazing at their actual job (research) they suck at their supplementary job (teaching)

      Professors are many different people all over the world with different levels of teaching skills. We can’t say professors in general ‘suck’. RUclips is just a better place to learn things cuz u can rewind , skip , search anything up , speed up , pause , see animations and 3D concepts ( not possible on a chuck board )
      I don’t like to just hate on professors like others the moment a youtube video teaches me sth.

    At minute 1, you treated X wrt Y as a constant and wrote down X. Later when you treated 2Y wrt X as a constant and wrote down 2YX. Seems like different rules. What is the rule to use when you treat terms as constants?

    • @aishak2818
      @aishak2818 4 года назад +4

      It's not really a rule actually. Consider the following two cases
      1) ∫ (xy) dx : Since it's integration with dx it implies with respect to x. That is, anything not having x is considered a constant.
      ∫ (xy)dx= y∫ xdx =y(x^2)
      2) ∫ (xy)dy : Integrating with respect to y. That is, anything that is not y is considered a constant
      ∫ (xy)dy= x∫ ydy= x(y^2)

    Would you please do videos on triple integrals, integrations in polar and spherical coordinates? These are the ones student struggle with the most and also it’s used in other scientific courses such as physical chemistry. Thank you.

    Plz prof i have a question.
    Why are you not putting the integrating constant.

    15:44 you left out the 4 in the 4x when you converted it to (8+y)^4. Shouldn't it be 4(8+y)^4?

    Hurrah! I got a few correct. Even if I had to pause to rework it because I forgot about constants getting an extra variable added to them. But I'll for sure have to (re)view about integration by u/du stuff. That was some kind of magic to me.

    10:35 shouldn't that (2y)^2 just stay as (2y)^2? How does that become 4y^2? Am i missing something? Confused...

    I have a question. With regards to what u said here at 16:45 if i make “u” equal to (8+y) would that also going to change the limit of integration?
