- Learn how to crochet a pumpkin applique in this tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. In this video I show how to make cute pumpkin for the fall, autumn, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. This crochet pattern works up quick and easy. You can attach this applique to a crochet blanket, a crochet scarf and hat. The stitches are primarily single crochet and double crochet. I'm using a G 4 mm crochet hook and about 15 yards of worsted weight yarn.

Ok. I came for the appliqués but I have to pause and comment 20 seconds in because this is the first time I've seen the magic circle done/described that way! That is so much of a simpler explanation 😁 Will have to try this out when I make the pumpkins!
