This was an absolute fantastic ghost story. The narration was superb. I really enjoyed this one. Thank you so much for your hard work. Have a splendid weekend 💖🤗🌟
This short story had me worried for the poor old lady from start to finish. =O And the ending reminded me of a certain unfortunate character in Twin Peaks. =(
I see that mystery of cabinet - what it was, why it was doing what it was doing and what happened to current owner - was never solved... I bet that cabinet eat Warren too! 😂
Amazing just as I’m getting into work a new story to pass the time thank you again Ian! Can’t wait to enjoy I would also like to request again an audio reading of the picture of Dorian grey I think it would make an excellent addition to the horrorbabble collection thank you again have a great day!🎉❤
Love listening to these. Love your channel. Ian Gordan's voice is mesmerising which So Much relaxes me me at work or before bed. Thank you for these videos. :)
I enjoyed the story and, as a pipe smoker, enjoyed it even more thanks to not just the tobacco reference but the reference to a specific brand (one I enjoy several blends from) and a smidgen of the brand's history and correct history at that. Kudos Mr. Gordon.
…..I guess I’ve been incredibly fortunate : ALL of the little, old ladies I’ve known have been incredibly sweet & generous of spirit…..( I’ve never known any nasty, dirty, unthankful old drunks )…. A hell of a protagonist you’ve got there….
Just because he got hit by a delivery truck Warren isn’t dead. He is “The Chosen One” in a parallel medieval universe with elves, orcs, wizards and fighting an existential evil.
As a new listener, I prefer your old intro, the one with the piano and typewriter. It sets my mood right for a spooky tale before bed. The Waren is dead is a nice bit or narration, but considering you will be narrating for anywhere between 20 mins to 6 hours, the variation is nice, dispite your lovely voice. Just a thought. 🙂
Fourteen: Escape and rescue then were both equally impossible or so it seemed to Randolph Carter. But there was still the gas Carter mused. He could extinguish the flame and inbreath deeply of that fatal vapor until it brought him release; much sooner and one far less excruciating than the slow and lingering death of thirst and starvation that now faced him and yet as utterly hopeless as Carter's circumstances were his robust New England upbringing resisted the thought of suicide.
Gentlemen, no one enjoys pedantry, but since these stories are so much enhanced by accurate detail, I must point out the inaccuracy of speaking of ‘Edwardian’ furniture in the 19th century. Edward ascended the throne in 1901!!!

Somebody call the Scottish accent police!
Mrs Doubtfire in tha house !!!!
As an Irish \ French \ Armenian American.... All I can say is: "nyuk nyuk nyuk" (I'm only fluent in 3 stooges-ese) 🙊🙉🙈
@@Boogie_the_cat Why, soitenly!!
Where's eh poliss.
I wasn't gonna say anything.....you tried 😜
always enjoy when the Gordon brothers work together
Pass my compliments to Gary. Very much enjoyed this.
Heavy snowfall?? Sounds like time for a motorcycle ride 🤔 🤣
*phone beeps* it’s 6 in the morning this better be an emergency…5 minutes later settles down with coffee to listen to the new story.
Yeah, dark outside, dark coffee in cup, dark story on phone. Nothing beats that.
I can't still believe in Warren's death..😪
Thanks a lot for your excellent work!
Maybe so, but what worries me more, is when (not if) Warren comes back.
Warren is out honing his craft
@@RydarkVoyagerAgreed. 😅
I pictured Mrs Doubtfire as Morag ~ wonderful story💙
Robin Williams as Morag? What a show that would be.
Mr Gordon you are amazing
Thanks
That was a good one!

What a ghoulishly good story. Well Done Gary! You have a very talented brother Ian 😊 Love it when you work together.
This short story had me worried for the poor old lady from start to finish. =O And the ending reminded me of a certain unfortunate character in Twin Peaks. =(
“POOR, old lady?!?”…..( More like, “Poor, old anything or anybody who had to interact with the nasty, old drunk” )
Very good. Excellent as always Mr. Gordon and Horror Babble. Thank you.
I see that mystery of cabinet - what it was, why it was doing what it was doing and what happened to current owner - was never solved... I bet that cabinet eat Warren too! 😂
I'm waiting for Ian's next story " Night of the Knucklehead"
Thanks for another fun one Gary!😄
great story well told, and as a Scot i for one loved the accent attempt :)
I just got a chill on my back porch on a sunny day! Love it
I could have sworn Morag was going to wind up as a china doll in the curio cabinet! Great story!!
What a wonderful tale!

Very cinematic writing. Almost reads like a screenplay
Ian doing the Scottish accent is magnificent

Cool. A new story.
Sometimes I WILL be off the network, this was one of those occasions.
A belated keep up the good work and, as always, stay safe!
I really enjoyed that.
I was chuckling throughout the story, it was so funny, in a creepy way!
Oh yes, everyone knows someone that has a bunch of expensive dishes no one is allowed to use.
Well done you!
❤❤
Poor Warren
He had just finished paying off his car loan, as well.
Morag definitely sounds very Scottish, and very lovely. Definitely.
Good morning
Good afternoon!

Good Grief !
Good boys to men, good times around.
A good story of a queer & creepy cabinet, a legacy of curiosities…Doctors of the Macabre.

Hail Harvey Warren Truck Kun's chosen! He's the savior of our people!
Nope.
Do you think you could read the story called the coat by A E D SMITH . It is mighty scary😊
We recorded that one a few years ago: ruclips.net/video/B6hruFhV3Og/видео.html
Oh I'm so glad I'm going to listen to it right now thank you 😀
What about an ancient Sith dagger that just happened to be in the same shape as the crashed Death Star remains?
I liked this. Another Gordon entered the family business?
Gary's got his own playlist! :D

What a braw and peculiar tale 🙂 really enjoyed that!
Love this story. I may have BBC a bit of the protagonist in me.. hiccup, cough :)
❤️🔥
😎👍👍
Somehow I think Morag and Granny didn’t have a good relationship. 😉

This is true! That said, there are a number of antique dealers here in the UK who classify furniture from the 1890s as Edwardian.
@@HorrorBabble That's most interesting. Thanks.

Human furniture! 😳🗄️🛋️✌️

Oh the horror! For the love of god, never attempt a Scottish accent again please. Love from Edinburgh 😂
Ha! We can't make any promises though... ;)
This is awful in so many wonderful ways.
I knew a wee Morag. She was shot by a grave gun. RIP Wee Morag
So they just hanging out
