@TatzRules Yay Which is why there are levels to how much a person likes something/someone. And only that person can say how much of a fan they are, therefore, it's really no one else's right to say you aren't a fan because you don't know everything about an artist.
@TatzRules Yay Why? What is the point of a line? Fans like lots of songs, tend to go to concerts, maybe watch some interviews. That's good enough. Liking is just liking a few songs and that's about it. You may not even kno who sings them you just know that you like them.
That's exactly the problem! People place their admiration into the creator rather than into their product. It becomes unhealthy at exactly that moment.

but I mean its somewhat true. I wouldn’t consider myself a fan, but I like music. I think a real fan would at least know really basic facts like her age or her full birth name.
@Talia Moreau I would be careful calling that true. If you identify yourself as a fan, then you are a fan. No matter how dedicated, how obsessed you are, your self perceived status as a fan shouldn't change. No one else should be able to take that away from you, because they think "you're not doing enough." That's toxic.

Ava Poindexter it could be for some, but of course everyone signs up to do these videos voluntarily. there are already many interviews of suicide survivors, i think enough people would be willing to share their stories, especially to raise awareness for others.

Hadassah I’m sorry, but I’m gonna have to agree with the ARMY being the worst. I don’t belong to any fandom anymore, I just listen to music and support artists more than others but I am a fan of Beyoncé and BTS. I was ARMY for about 5 months but I just couldn’t handle it. There are good fans and could be good friends but most of the people in the ARMY consists of mostly toxic 13-16 yr olds. Don’t get me wrong the Beyhive is CRAZY but compared to ARMY I feel it doesn’t even come close to being calm, but that’s what happens when a fanbase grows. This is just my opinion tho haha I’m replying for fun 😄
HerseyEverest well I mean not all fans are toxic, some are actually really approachable when your new, when you need questions some are going to answer it, but it’s your opinion and I respect that. Btw I know I’m too late to reply cuz your comment was 9 months ago but okay. I purple you💜 (means I love you)
That's what I thought. A fan can be supporting, following (on social media), and in tune with the things an artist put out/say in interviews without knowing all of the tiny details about that artist like their dogs' names, favorite colors, etc. There's a line between fan and stalker.
I think it's incredibly toxic how people will almost worship celebrities. It's so... submissive, so scary tbh. Some of these "fans" nowadays are just really obsessed.
Very sick when they attack but what's worse is the celebrities say nothing. They just look away. Yes you are somewhat responsible and should st least say something to your "fan"atics.
Exactly...... i used to follow artists on my Instagram and the would post abut their kids and their lives and i was like i really dont need to know all these things, i am not interested in knowing the business of someone else life...... i always say i am a fan of their music and any other thing that happens in their personal lives has nothing to do with me.
Its weird when u think about it because those people are just like us and they just got lucky and an opportunity to have fame and recognition and all that but thats the sole reason they get praised 😔
Nowadays? Have you seen the Beatle era? Micheal Jackson? Elvis ? Marylin Monroe?, Lady diana ? I think people were more crazy about celeb back in the day then now.

Wtf I can still be a fan of someone without knowing every single thing about them like that's impossible. If I'm a fan and I support my favs and stay with them through everything and care about them a whole lot but I don't know every single thing about them it's less valid to call myself a fan? The headassery
Right? I literally got a TATTOO for a band because I love their music SO MUCH. Can I even name every member of the band? Nope 🙃 clearly I’m a fan if I know the words to every song and love their music enough to get it tattooed on me. Being a fan is not the same as obsession (which is also fine)

fantasyfeak999 true. If we got something like “Do all BTS fans think the same” then viewers who hate BTS and are fans of Rock N’ Roll groups (like me-) will be hating on them, and vice versa. But let’s just say the Rock N’ Roll fandoms are a lot less toxic then the Bey Hive and BTS fandoms
I would agree in most cases, I'm not saying that this is even the correct way of discussing this particular topic, but considering that the Beehive is pretty much always causing a negative stir it's a form of a social issue. When you have so many people under the sway of one person it should give you pause, especially when those people (that mob) is often malicious without real cause. If you reframe it as something more political then you'd more clearly see the issue of it no?
I would normally agree with you, but I think they asked it because "Lemonade" was promoted in a way where she finally discussed infidelity in her marriage through her music. Even Jay Z was in interviews at the time being asked about lyrics in the songs from the album. Clearly, Jay Z knew she would come out with these songs and he was prepared to discuss things to help promote the album. There have even been theories that Beyonce made up the infidelity stories to create the Lemonade album. That her and Jay Z thought this through together to keep her name out there.
I mean this whole video is talking about her personal life so why not judge her relationship y'all judge her relationship y'all judge everything else that ain't y'all business
Do all people with/recovering from eating disorders think the same. It would be pretty awesome to see a truthful conversation between people who get it, and would educate a LOT of people who only have one image in their heads when they hear “eating disorder”
I would definitely like to see that! I did a research paper recently on specifically black women with eating disorders, and it's definitely not something widely discussed. @Chi Non Nah dude... Beyonce's fans take worship and toxicity to a whole new level... Her fans are the grown-up versions of what Justin Biebers fans used to be... Crazy and toxic. Bringing up other toxic fandoms doesn't negate the fact that Beyonce fans are toxic AF
@Chi Non Can't we just say that they are all toxic instead of taking up for one them because the others are worse? The point is a lot of fans of celebrities are toxic and take it too far, but just because certain ones are worse than others doesn't make the toxicity of those fans any better. And also just because it's been happening for years doesn't make it normal either. Beyonce's fans are too much sometimes, but no ever said that other fandoms weren't soooo....

It’s kind of concerning how he said that Beyonce will always have secrets. Rather than saying that Beyonce has a private life that people need to respect. It just sounds like he is entitled to know everything about Beyonce.
If Beyoncé has to control her fans then every other artist does too. I don’t see anyone saying anything about Taylor Swift or Lady Gaga fans for example who are known on twitter for a lot of them being racist. I don’t think it’s the celebs fault for what there fans do as we all know Beyoncé, Taylor and Lady Gaga all make it clear what they stand for which is equality. A lot of the Beyhive call out other members if they do something bad, like the situation with the NBA guys wife, insta hive went crazy and twitter hive called them out and didn’t want to be associated with them.
Thats because Beyonce has one of the most toxic fanbases out there along with Eminem, Drake, etc (all of which have been told to control their fans). I’m gonna get attacked and called a crazy stan for this but, I think y’all are forgetting the impact that music can have on someone’s life. The first time I remember seeing Beyoncé on tv I was around 3 and the crazy in love video came on. I immediately fell in love with her voice, sound, and attitude in that vid and I didn’t even know what was going on(I realized these things later I just remembered being shook). I’ve been a fan ever since. Growing up I loved seeing her on tv bc she was so beautiful, confident, talented, and hardworking and those were all qualities that I wanted to have. Also people bond over music and some of my fondest memories are singing Beyoncé songs or watching her performances with my friends and family. On impacting lives, the music that you listen to when you go through certain phases literally shapes that phase for you. When I went through my first real breakup at 16 and lemonade came out a month later it was comforting knowing I wasn’t the only one to ever go through heartbreak bc when you’re 16 that’s what it feels like. Same thing with falling in love. To have someone put in words and melody how you feel about the most important person to you is indescribable. And no Beyoncé wasn’t the only artist that I listened to during those times, she’s not the only artist that I’ve bonded over people with, and she’s not the only one that has admirable traits, but she definitely had an impact on people’s lives. She’s been in the music industry for over twenty years and has music in multiple genres, so of course she’s going to impact lives and people are going to feel strongly about her. Do I think she’s God? Absolutely not and I hope none of them do either, but stop shaming people bc they care about stuff, especially something as impactful and as meaningful as MUSIC. Also y’all don’t attack fans of other artists like this even tho every artist has extremists in their fanbase. Also you can not like Beyoncé’s music without trashing her vocal ability or her hard work

You know that 'fan' is short from 'fanatic', right?
HerseyEverest well I mean not all fans are toxic, some are actually really approachable when your new, when you need questions some are going to answer it, but it’s your opinion and I respect that. @@Vishal138 Stan*
That's what I thought.
A fan can be supporting, following (on social media), and in tune with the things an artist put out/say in interviews without knowing all of the tiny details about that artist like their dogs' names, favorite colors, etc. There's a line between fan and stalker.
the question said '' real fan''
Yup, they are called "Stans" they know too much about their idol and are really in love with them.

Exactly, you don’t have to know everything about a artist to be a fan. When you fully support and enjoy their content you are basically a fan.
I really don't think they should do fandoms. To me, it seems like such an inconsequential topic.
Agree, I dont get this thing either.
I agree
They've already done alot of serious topics, what does it matter if they do one for fun?
fantasyfeak999 true.
If you reframe it as something more political then you'd more clearly see the issue of it no?
where's the "her relationship is none of my business" option??

The point is a lot of fans of celebrities are toxic and take it too far, but just because certain ones are worse than others doesn't make the toxicity of those fans any better.
People like Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga really don't have very aggressive fans. I don't really know where you're getting the racist thing from. Its commonly known for the Beyhive to be extremely toxic
Nickie V if you don’t know where i’m getting the racist thing from then don’t comment about it 🤡 i know because i’m on twitter everyday and i see it with my own eyes. it’s very toxic. what i’m saying it’s not commonly known for people to know that a lot of taylor swift fans and lady gaga fans are racist
@@erinmcmillan2265 if you're on Twitter everyday enough to see things like that you may need to put the phone down and live in reality. Just saying you're on Twitter everyday just sold us on the type of person you are as well as the OP original post lets us know you're character.
3Dlamario oh my 😂😂 literally everyone goes on social media everyday don’t even deny it. why are you focusing on me about being on twitter rather than me talking about actual racists on twitter, i didn’t even say anything bad in the first comment so i don’t know what you’re talking about
Favorite fanbases: Sia, Sigrid
I think a spectrum with gun owners/enthusiasts would be interesting, and ask them questions about gun control issues. I think many people assume if you own a gun or want to have one, gun safety legislation is a threat. I know many individuals who own guns who support gun control, but also others who are completely against it. It would be a good conversation to have on this channel, considering the national conversation happening in the U.S.
Also you can not like Beyoncé’s music without trashing her vocal ability or her hard work
The song says “PERFECTION IS A DISEASE OF A NATION” 😌
By the way, Sia wrote Pretty Hurts Beyonce just sung it 🙌 from a sia stan
Yesssss. Love sis. Much better role model than Beyoncé by light years imo
And I ooop-
@@musicandmebff For white broads like you!. Beyonce is a better role model for Black people.
Nia R. I’m actually not white, but okay lol. And someone doesn’t have to be the same skin color as you for them to be your role model. Damn so much emphasis on her skin color. She’s a terrible role model and there are much better black female role models to look up to if that’s your goal
@@musicandmebff why is she a terrible role model? Because she doesn't write all her Lyrics by her own? Pls she has been pushing on body positivity and feminism, she isn't a Kim Kardashian that opens about her personal life, she is a classy lady that has never made problems on social media. What makes her so bad?
Yall really didnt ask "is it pronounced bee or bay" smhh
What's it matter? 🤷♀️
🤣
Bee 🐝
“Bee” lol because her name is pronounced Bee-yoncé and why she’s called queen bee

It’s insane how obsessed these people are with a woman they don’t know at all.
Daniel Gurt I know her
Its strange how y'all follow trends to get likes on RUclips stfu. We admire her
Doesnt matter if she doesn't know us, she has a huge influence on us and we love her for that.
Yeah i agree there's a difference a stan is clearly the type to keep up with everything a celebrity does including their personal life unlike fans who just support the celebrity based on what they know the person off of
