You can learn more about Rock Mary and the California Road as well as the other mounds at the Hinton Museum. Art Peters has completed a great deal of research and has written books about these mounds and the history behind them. A short video using local talent was made and shown on Oklahoma’s PBS station a few months ago

Probably my favorite video I’ve seen of the route. Great job on the edit and story line. Come out and join us on a group trip sometime.

Hey, thanks man! And thanks for all you're doing for Oklahoma back country exploring! I ran across your channel through a round about path a couple months back and realized you were "the guy from Facebook" that Isaac was talking about! :) Would be cool to do a trip sometime. Are those organized on your Facebook group?

Awesome, I'll have to check it out. Your name's Gared, correct? I'm Levi. Always good to meet someone with similar interests, of overland stuff + creating videos!

Great video! Gared of West OK Overland is the author of the route. It's very fun and very accessible for new overlanders. I always recommend it to those just starting out.

I stumbled across his channel just yesterday! I wasn't sure who Isaac saw on FB that mapped the route, but I guess it was him! Thanks for watching and commenting!
