@PsychoBlueMarcus you know why the writers made Alix watch to be the bunny miraculous because it's convenient for the story not only for the fandom wanting Alix to be another superhero with a new superpower (which there's nothing wrong with that except having the miraculouses being passed on like candy comes out to be less special and having to hide your secret identity kinda pointless) and want to sell some merchandising but it's also to milk the whole premise a lot longer.
Yeah, when the main characters are in high school or middle school, typically it will attract older kids who are around those ages. They certainly are not stupid.
HOW DID LADYBUG NOT CAUSE A PARADOX WHEN MEETING HER PAST SELF. ALL TIME TRAVEL FANS LIKE ME KNOW THAT IF YOU MEET YOUR PAST SELF THEN IT CAUSES A PARADOX. I HAVN'T GROWN A SPINE YOU ARE RIGHT (drops caps lock) time travel is a big thing.
I'm still bothered by the fact that there are THREE rabbit miraculouses throughout the episodes until Time Tagger. One is with Alix's family, one is with future Alix still in stasis until she can emerge (albeit it's busted), and the third is with master Fu because you can clearly see Fluff with the other kwamis whenever we're shown the inside of the miracle box and in Kwami Buster.
I’ve also never liked the fact Alix’s pocket watch was the Rabbit Miraculous, because Miraculous are said to be indestructible unless damaged by supernatural means like Cataclysm. BUT THEN the pocket watch breaks in the episode it debuts in BECAUSE IT FELL ON THE FLOOR. This continuity is terrible.
Look, as much as I love Bunnyx, I have to admit they need to figure out how this whole time travel shtick works. At the moment I’m just incredibly confused about what the hell is going on. Does Bunnyx act as the kind of gatekeeper of all the alternate timelines?
"Cat Blanc" suffers from the same paradox as was seen in "Back to the Future II" - a character is removed from the present and taken to the future, but the very act of doing this would alter that future to the extent that it would be impossible for them to view the desired consequences. Taking Ladybug/Marinette to the future removes her from the present, ergo there is no Marinette for Adrien to declare his love to, no attempt made by Hawkmoth to akumatise her, no showdown between Hawkmoth and the heroes resulting in his identity reveal and the akumatisation of Cat Noir and the destruction of Paris. Of course, Bunnix could get around that by removing Ladybug from the timeline at a later stage - for instance, a split second before Cat Blanc destroys her along with Paris - but that creates a plot anomaly, as it would mean that at the end of the episode, Ladybug would know that Cat Noir is Adrien.... The only way to make sense of it all is to consider that the story may not actually involve time travel as such. Bunnix's burrow is really just a kind of Star Trek style holodeck, which can display simulated possible timelines and can create them with realistic projected environments and characters. That is what Ladybug experiences as she visits Cat Blanc and fights him in the future, whilst Bunnix watches her (whilst also monitoring other related timestreams) and determines the exact nature of the disaster in the future: namely, that Ladybug and Cat Noir discover each others' identities, which isn't meant to happen in the way shown by the episode.
This is exactly what I thought I mean the latter part. The author just fed us with this episode to satisfy us and also to show us an alternative outcome of the series with no consequences with the actual timeline which is timeline A that ladybug later on fixes it.
Bunnyx was shockingly open about future events in Time Tagger, which is something you almost NEVER see in a time traveler that isn't a villain. I'm not a professional, but if I could go back to redo anything I'd alter Time Tagger to setup Chat Blanc. I.E. Bunnyx says something or leaves something which triggers the Blanc future later on.
Ikr!! Also, i personally think that even a small action makes a difference. For example, when the girls are encouraging Marinette to give Adrien her gift, even if Alix mentioned *ANYTHING* about Bunnyx i.e. "be brave like Bunnyx" or something to that effect, then I would be like " ok, at least Bunnyx played *some* part in the whole Chat Blanc situation. Small, yes, but still influenced her action all the same. But *nooo* Bunnyx has absolutely nothing to do with Chat Blanc even though it's entirely, if not especially plausible that she triggered it. Sorry if this is long TwT
That’s the stupidest time travel rule that was ever conceived. Of course you can see your past self. It would probably effect the future, but it shouldn’t kill you or cause some other phenomenon.
Actually a rule of time travel is that if you touch your pastself you'll explode into oblivion never to be remembered again so marinette touching her past self should have killed her and she would never be remembered by anyone yet the writers forgot that one key point of time travel.
Chat blanc was supposed to be aired as a season 2 episode and it was also supposed to be a longer episode. For some reason, they cut down the episode to make chat blanc and we probably lost a lot of scenes that made the time travel plot more sense
cat balnc shouldve been a 44 minute episode cause in my opinion cat blanc was rushed it shouldve been a special episode and not a 22 minute episode cause cat blanc is a good episode but it was rushed it had alot of potencial
In the video ''Hashtag Festival - Conférence Miraculous'' one of the participants said the episode initially had to take place in Season 2 but they had to change the plot. The episode was also supposed to be cut in two parts. The initial plot of Chat Blanc was that we would see all the events that follow Adrien's discover of Ladybug's identity from Marinette's point of view, which means instead of flashbacks, the episode would have chronologically shown us how Adrien and Marinette would have started dating and everything that follows. Right after Cat Noir's akumatisation, we would have seen the actual Ladybug from the past come to defeat Chat Blanc with Bunnix's help and use her Luckycharm to fix everything. However, the writers found that ending too sad as it would make us follow the storyline from dead Marinette's point of view. They thought making flashbacks and following alive Marinette's point of view would make things less depressive.
Totally agree with you ! It's another thing we have to ignore as "it's a kid show ". Other problem : how come the rabbit Miraculous is in the Miracle box (we even see the kwami Fluff in Kwami buster) when it's supposed to be Alix who has the Miraculous (the watch) ??? I still really love the show, but it could only get better if they stopped hiding behind "it's a kid show". Hope they will on Season 4 !
I dont claim to understand time travel well, in fact just the opposite, but the bunny miraculous isn't a serious issue. Fluff wasn't bonded to the Pocket watch that was passed down to Alix, not until future Alix did so in Timetagger.
I think the watch Which is given to teen Alix from her father is belongs to the adult Alix who is trapped inside the stone freezes herself to survive...ofc the watches were same but they were from different timelines, so the original one still exists in the miraculous box...aaand we know that Alix father is a researcher and I think his ancestor who found the miraculous was also a researcher in the past so the watch Which is belongs to adult Bunnix passed down to the teen alix
@@Munblumin. i think thomas said something about bunnyx going back into the past and adopted her ancestors then it passed down to teen alix, and i agree with what you have said.
It doesn't there can be really simple like here's an example there's one timeline where a chain of events happen but someone time traveling creates a separate timeline now two timeline exist as parallel worlds boom simple
there is a game called 5d chess with multiverse time travel, and its a pretty good place to start off with the time travel stuff, if you are good at chess.
It doesn't have to be complicated . If you think it's complicated then it is but it actually isn't . you can go ahead and read my comment on the video and you might understand. I don't know what's ur level of understanding. Or u can stick to @Craig Peoples' explanation. In my comment I've made the rules of time travel crystal clear .
Actually it’s always different branching futures, for one reason: there are technically multiple fights between Bunnyx and Timetager, for the sake of simplicity we’ll just say they had 3 fights, if it was a time loop then Timetager would always break her miraculous and send her in the ancient Egypt no matter how many times she stayed in that stone and waited for Alex to give her her miraculous back for a rematch, Cat Noir always would’ve broken it. As you put it with the miraculous it was always meant to be given to Bunnyx However if the different branching futures is used in this episode, going off the idea that we had 3 fights (again only for simplicity) Timetager would have sent her back into the past 2 time and she managed beat him on the third (which is what we see). The changing factor of when these timeline split is if Cat Noir broke her miraculous and by extension Timetager send her into ancient Egypt. If he does then Timetager sends her into ancient Egypt to be trapped in stone and her miraculous is passed down through generations to Alex to eventually get back to her, if he doesn’t she remains in the fight and together the three heroes are able to beat him (which again is what we see) If it were a time loop this would happen: Battle 1: Cat Noir breaks her miraculous and Timetager send her to ancient Egypt, many generations later the events of Timebreaker takes place and Alex gets the heirloom/miraculous. Soon enough the events of Timetager occur and Alex gives it back to Bunnyx, Cat Noir jumps in it accidentally breaks her miraculous causing Timetager to send her into ancient Egypt once again. This process would repeat indefinitely However if it was a branching future in her last battle with Timetager she dodges the hit that would break her miraculous meaning that Timetager wouldn’t send her back (this is what we see in the episode) gather the three (I guess five if you want to include the future versions at the very end) manage to defeat Timetager. The most simple way to say this is that in one version (with the time loop) Timetager would have defeated Bunnyx no matter how many times she tried, if it was a branching future then it would be possible to change the future and stop him by dodging that hit (again this is what we see) Your research on Cat Blanc seems to be flawless from what I can tell
And also alix's father is a researcher Which means one of his ancestor might be a researcher too or she made a replica of her miraculous inorder to stay in form and passed the original watch with a message to her Egyptian ancestor....or hence it's not to be attached to her body unlike other miraculous accessories....and the thing is this watch is from different timeline so that make sense that the original one is still in the miraculous box.... I really REALLY hope that the creators will show us more about this in the future episodes as our heroes grow up
@@Munblumin. maybe since chat noir broke bunnyx's miraculous, bunnyx prepared a back up miraculous (the family heirloom). She went back in time to give the miraculous to her ancestors then it passed down to mini Alix to retrieve it and fought timetagger, the family heirloom miraculous is just probably a back up. The original or miraculous in mini alix's timeline is still probably in mini ladybug's miraculous box. I honestly dont know this is just my take(its still has plot holes :/)
technically it's still a fixed loop meaning that instead of chat blanc being an alternate timeline it's a future meaning once the ladybug's power is used that future turns into a possible future and its still a kinda fixed loop but also meaning that this is simply a kids show, but I still get your point of sticking to the rules you've set, for example, you should compare it to pokemon time travel
The reason I wouldn't say it's a fixed loop is becuase of the fact that 2 timelines existed and one was being deleted. If it was a loop, this would never happen.
Tbh this fixed loop theory makes A LOT more sense than the bs in the actual epispde. The writers made bunnyx say "i dont remeber this happening" (or something along the lines of that) indicating shes probably from a completly different timeline that isnt alix's future
Let me explain this in a simplified way because I think I understand: If a character just does something in the present that affects the future but it wasn't supposed to happen, then that doesn't make sense because then that future should be the set one. The way the episode should have happened is if Marinette asks for Bunnyx's help with something to change the past, leading to her being discovered as Ladybug. But to be honest, Miraculous Ladybug is just turning into one giant plot hole. By the way, I just realized that if Marinette didn't was time in Adrien's room as Ladybug, she could of actually gotten away with the present thing. Just sayin'
We really don't know any of the rules of time travel thats why people make up theories like "can't see your past self" "changes the events of the future" or the opposite "nothing will change because u are supposed to go back or forward" But making these made up rules consistent really shouldn't be hard.
As Chat Blanc stated, it wasn't him finding out that caused this. It was Gabriel finding out that caused this. The fact they think Chat Noir can't know, means he will absolutely be weak to an akumatization. He needs love and support and to get away from his father to prevent that. So, Bunnyx just screwed over the future almost guaranteeing Chat Blanc will happen.
This is why the terminator dark fate failed and Avengers endgame became the highest grossing movie of all time this is y most studios do not do time travel because it's so complicated
I personally dont think its inconsistent. Firstly, with the Timetagger Episode. Technically the powers of Bunnix and Timetagger are different. Yes, they can both travel through time. However, one is given the power straight from a Miraculous itself. The Rabbit Miraculous is literally made for that, where as the butterfly miraculous isnt. While both powers stem from a miraculous, one is directly, and the other is indirectly. So this difference between the origin of the powers could be why the "rules of time" are different. And then with the episode Chat Blanc. We see a few times that even when not in his miraculous form, we see that Gabriel is able to sense negative emotions. Who's to say that Bunnix cant do the same with time travel. She could have sensed that time was messed up. Along with the fact that being she herself has traveled through time to (her) past. to help out past ladybug, shes more integrated in the timeline than most others. So i think i timeline change would affect her as it did. And With the fact she CAN travel through time, it would make sense that she could fix it.
I always LOVE time traveling plots in fictions, I know it bothers many people because of the plot holes it creates but I personally just enjoy the ride, I always love the emotions it gives me. The time traveling episodes in Miraculous had been my favorites so far and I, on my part, really wish they'll continue with it. Everyone is different I guess...
Omg thank you! someone who understands time travel lol! I watched the flash the tv show and he kept changing the past, and I was like, wait but that wouldn't work
I think I get the writer's point of view. Bunnix probably noticed small changes in her first timeline and maybe a part of her world started slowly crumbling. That's why she went right away, while her world was still standing. It's also possible that he does have that kind of power, where she can alter her existence, make her stay alive until the mission is complete
Dude I love your theory. I think the writers wanted to write it as everything has a specific time. Timeline A: if the reveal happens in the specific time then Bunnix is there and they grow up and the world is not destroyed. Timeline B: revealed at the wrong time and it leads to Cat Blanc and Bunnix is being erased. Playing with time is complicated and that is why I was afraid that the writer would mess up the avengers bit they did not because they put a lot of thought into it. And Thomas Astruc's excuse is going to be the classic "it's a kid's show".
The whole time travel things confuses me plenty with the rabbit miraculous itself. You dont see it, but it's in the miracle box, but at the same time Alix has it as well. So then it means that's theres the possibility of 2 rabbit miraculous existing at the same point of time. Which I dont think actually makes sense. But then when Bunnix came into the chessboard. That makes 3 existing at the same point in time. At least until ladybug's lucky charmed fixed the damaged miraculous. So I guess theres the one in the box, the one alix has, and the future rabbit miraculous.
I really think Bunnix knows the identities of all of the past Ladybugs since she can see the past too. That must be the only way Marinette as Ladybug will meet some past Ladybugs in Season 4.
Actually both Episodes are a closed branch loop. Both timeline REMERGE BACK TOGETHER! BOTH TIMES! It happens between the 25&26 appearance of mr Pigeon and Timetager akumitization in the future. Remember that. In the future after Timetager is akumitized the hero team is pushed to the limit. This bring in bunnix the Last Ditch miraculous. During the battle chat noir damages the miraculous which allows the Timetager to escape into the past. Bunnix tries to follow but damaged miraculous don’t work correctly so she ended up be chased by Timetager. Bunnix made sure the watch in the past was handed down through her ancestors. Heck Alix could be her own great great great etc grandmother. And then she got trapped in stone. Time passes and the miraculous is passed down to the offspring. Master fu mistake happens Gabriel and Emile find the ruins and the two miraculous and the book. Emile falls into a coma Gabriel eventually becomes hawkmoth. Marinette get the ladybug miraculous and Adrien gets the black cat miraculous. Alix receive the miraculous on her birthday and gets akumitized into timebreaker which is a time travel episode at the end the two ladybugs merge and eventually the time where Timetager arrives comes and alix gives the message to the heroes who free bunnix and defeat Timetager and time him back to the and NOTHING CHANGES AT ALL. Everything that was returns to normal
I think what it is with Cat Blanc is that this timeline does indeed have a big looptyloop at that specific point in time where in that part cat blanc will always happen due to that event with marinettes screwup now let me explain this in chronological order so bunnix arrives from in the past due to akuma attack and freezes herself in that block of stone --> is freed in future and stops timetagger -> cat blanc happens and bunnix returns -> past is fixed and time continues as normal -> timetagger causes bunnix to go to the past and damages miraculous -> cat blanc beings to affect the future world because thats when bunnix was supposed to come back a 2nd time to fix a problem she doesnt realize was gonna happen (she has the memories from the fixed timeline but doesnt know she needs to recreate the fix so the erasing timeline doesnt begin to occur until the precise moment shes forced to travel to the past again) so yeah it still is a closed loop but i understand what you mean how could the future bunnix appear in the past if paris is basically destroyed before she even grows up but its only because that bunnix is from the fixed timeline recreating that fix again in a loop in a way this is a lot like the legend of zelda ocarina of time thing with the way you learn the song of storms because in that future the dude is already mad because of that song being played in the past (no matter if you dont have access to the song you will eventually do it anyways) so he teaches you the song and subsequently create that future
Ok completely off topic, but I've been thinking about lore in the miraculous universe a lot and I think that the Greek gods are important in the universe. I watched feast and they pointed out that Hercules is a miraculous holder. But in our universe he was just a story. So if Hercules is real in their universe, then the gods are too. And possibly the miraculouses come from the gods. I mean they're magic, and it's hard to believe normal people would come up with magic. Sorry I've been wanting to say that forever, but this video is right. Their time travel has no rules and contradicts itself
If you read the new york comic it sorta explains the origins of kwamis. Basically a kwami is born when something new appears in the universe like math or anger. Kwamis were just beings that roamed around the universe unable to contact with other beings but then a person created the miraculous jewles so kwamis could be used to help humans. I did a little deep researching and i found out that oracle of khepri (egyptian godess of creation) was the first ladybug holder. Pretty ironic since tikki was also the first kwami and has the power of creation..? Idk how that coralates to anything but i think every first miraculous holder has some sort of connection its kwami somehow. Im literally getting a brain tumor from writing all that bye 👁👄
Mabey time travel works differently for each timetraveler. Timetagger, timebreaker and bunnix each have a functionally different time travel power and obay there own rules or a combined set of rules when interacting with each other.
This is exactly how I feel about this. Yes, they could all time travel. However their powers were all different. So one could assume that the "rules of time" they follow could be different too.
I totally agree with this! I never gave it much thought but thinking on it now, its true they created A LOT of plot holes. However exciting it may have been, it didn't make sense.
The fact that they explicitly sent the magic ladybugs through the burrow shows they repaired that time line rather that simply erasing it. Its possible that it runs on the multiverse theory where each choice a person makes causes the time line to split and branch off. The Cat Blanc timeline became permanent enough that Bunix grabbing Ladybug from an earlier point of time didn't effect it. While I dislike something in an alternate time line effecting the adult Bunix, who clearly lived past the destruction of Paris, I did think of something that could cause a ripple effect. Hawk Moth gave Cat Blanc the power of infinite destruction which wiped out Paris and possibility the entire human race. However Cat Blanc survived and was living in the ruins. Perhaps in the version of events where he was left alone he eventually got board and just started destroying everything, with his power threatening other time lines. A delay in the ripples could of hit Bunix's time line years later.
So as I understand it, there are 2 different rules that contradict each other: -The loop timeline rule -The multiple timelines (rule?) A way to fix it is that you can say while the first rule is true in timeline #1 (our timeline), while Bunnyx can travel to a different timeline with a different Marinette, meaning timeline #1 branched into 2 different outcomes because of her signing that letter. So: TIMELINE #1- Our cannon timeline TIMELINE #2- timeline caused by Marinette signing the letter. The reason Bunnyx is starting to be deleted is because of Paris getting destroyed and killing everyone. I mean that kinda makes sense I guess, right? WRONG! The looped timeline rule means that this timeline is ALSO the original timelines meaning multiple timelines exist in one big timeline but also are meant to happen than disappear because of this rule.
I personally l think the time travel makes sense because like you said it’s a loop so the chat blanc episode must be a loop since in the end bunnyx didn’t disappear. And in timetagger ladybug didn’t travel in time because it already happened and she didn’t need to travel before. But then this is my opinion and I didn’t really overlook it.
Cat Blanc It actually would erase the future because it’s one main timeline and because of capped block existing, the future did exist, but it was starting to slowly erase
Why doesn’t bunnix return to the past and not let emily take the peacock miraculous ??? I know it’s to let the serie going but ti’s incredibly frustrating :/
They were using Bunnix's fading, almost as a way to make the audience panic in a way, to feel worried Ladybug wasn't going to fix everything in time. Also in the actual timetagger episode where He was taking people into the past and future, I feel like that doesn't really matter because Of ladybug's fix everything power.
“A damaged miraculous.” Well we’ve seen what happened to a person who uses a damaged miraculous. This about it, the peacock miraculous was once damaged and the wearer would break down into a coughing fit and then fall into a coma, *cough cough* Emily, *cough cough*
i hope that the future episode are better and make more sense especially with time travel. ~ my brain is still trying to understand time travel tho i was recently watching a show about time travel (Cleopatra in space(that's the name)) and at the end of one of the videos they explained that time travel is dangerous, confusing and very sensitive to even a slight change (but the end message was to use time wisely). ~ i actually aspire to make my own show one day and time travel is a important part of it, and i understand the importance of time travel and how i need to make it work but after seeing this video it makes me even more caution on how i want to make it worse. ~ sorry if that was a lot to read.
So you said at 3:20 that Marinette doesn't do anything to get Bunnix's timeline erased. I actually thought that when Tikki told Marinette not to use her powers for personal reasons, but Marinette says she'll be quick, her decision sets a chain of events. (Which at some point gets Chat Noir akumatized.) So what she did wrong was revealing her identity to Adrien by accident. So Then Bunnix goes into the past to rewrite the future. And if Chat Blanc was the main future, everybody would ceased to exist, which is why Bunnix was disappearing. Idk this probably sounds confusing but yea... thats how I saw it. 😁😅
My opinion on Bunnix: In the Chinese zodiac, the dog (me) is only compatible with the rabbit Light Blue and White are quite cute colours Piercings and weird clothing (Normal form) which disturbed me.
I think what happened in miraculous universe which they might have done by accident is I think different timelines can travel to each other and fix it to make a true timeline
@Antoine Gédéon I really recommend you watch Re: Zero. It’s about this boy who was transported from a gas station to a fantasy world, but he is given the ability to create a time loop every time he dies. So every time he dies he knows what’s going to happen in the near future, so he can keep doing the time loop until his problem or threat is solved.
It makes sense if the events play out as possibilities instead of certainties. Each event has multiple ways it can play out and each possible path is influenced in probability by past choices and events.
omg FINALLY someone realizes this too. i thought i was the only one, but i was also like nahhhh im pretty sure the thomas astruc has put extra thought about this and probably im wrong
if you think about it, ladybug didn't even have to defeat chat blanc. she couldve just asked bunnix to take her back 5 minutes before she went to adriens room as ladybug, and could've just not go if that makes sense. she didn't have to defeat chat blanc since she was gonna go back and change the past afterwards, if just dosent make sense lol
The way I see it is that time is fragile and if one single secret if found out too early or too late everything collapses on itself and everything changes. For Example, in the episode Cat Blanc Adrian found out too soon about Marinette causing him to act upon it setting a chain of events that were never suppose to happen which over time began to erase and rewrite the future. That's the way I see it.
(For the Chat Blanc Episode) I have a headcanon that a anomaly occurred in the time stream that affected our main timeline, instead of heroes growing up, Chat Blanc basically kills everyone, Bunnyx sensed that and time traveled to see what happened. The anomaly occurred because of Sass using his powers in the 100th episode of miraculous, it affected the entire time stream and Bunnyx suddenly sensed it and was like "Now I gotta clean this shit up."
that time travel did make sense. the time line did that for ladybug to grow as a character. to dumb it down the time line broke its self for ladybug to grow. thomas if you see this your a genius
The way i would explain it is that Bunnix was always meant to go back to the past and get ladybug to fix her mistake so that the main timeline is allowed to exist. It's still part of the loop. Chat Blanc was supposed to be the main timeline if nothing was done to prevent it. I don't think someone needs to mess with time in order to create a catastrophe, i think Chat Blanc was just the natural course of events. The time loop philosophy also explains why Bunnix is misremembering the past. In Timetagger, Alix was supposed to hold a pen while waving to her future self, and in Chat Blanc she was supposed to hold on to the plush toy instead of giving it to Rose. When those things didn't happen, Bunnix realised that current events don't follow the time loop and her job isn't done. As for the dangers of time travel, if you use it too much, you put youself in a situation where you are forced to succeed any time you try to fix the past, and you need to make sure that the timeline follows a very specific chain of events, otherwise you'll destroy the future. And i don't think it was even necessary for Ladybug to go into the future and deakumatise Chat Blanc, all she needed to do was erase her name from the gift, which is why the lucky charm gave her an eraser, but it was important for her too see that future and understand the consequences of her negligence.
I like the time travel in the form of the snake miraculous, that kind of time manipulation is easy to understand and has easily followable rules, the Bunny miraculous kind of time travel is just really complicated and is just making it harder for the writers.
In even some of the greatest and thought out tv shows/ movies that involve time travel, there are always loopholes and/or it doesn’t make sense. Bc in general TIME TRAVEL DOES’NT. So tbh I don’t ever give Miraculous (even though their writing can b a bit 🤦♀️) a hard time ab this episode 😂
So I kinda have a theory, Master Fu and Alix are long lost relatives and that's why her family has a miraculous. Master Fu never lost it in the first place, he always knew it was safe with a relative. Besides, if he did lose it, he would have said something by now most likely.
Gotta remember time is always in flux hence the future with Cat Blanc is and isn’t the future at the same time. The reason Bunnyx was still was because that timeline hadn’t stuck completely just yet that’s why she was slowly fading away and all the other burrows into time went static towards the end
The other loop theory in time tagged is with how the rabbit miraculous gets broken. Bunnyx tells Chat that he breaks it by telling him off. I am fully convinced Adrien remembers this and purposely breaks it remembering this but doesn’t tell Bunnyx so she tells him off, closing the loop
The way I think about it, they didn’t directly say it’s a fixed loop concept, I just think that if you go in the past and try to change it it will change but either way somethings are meant to happen within the timeline. And if they aren’t meant to happen they get fixed by Bunnix, it’s kinda her job.
Well now in season five there's a new scarabella is alya and kitty noir is Zoe so technically it makes no sense but it reveals that Lila may be the new hawkmoth cus in season five Gabriel is reunited with his wife so in this episode it may be that alya was the one who helped ladybug defeat timetagger or marrinette who asked alya if she can borrow the miraculous cus she knew this.
i think Bunnix as a hero is such a cool concept and I think she's definitely one of the more powerful miraculous users because of her time-travel abilities. But tbh the writers should've planned everything out better when it comes to such a complicated topic, I had brain farts trying to figure out the various loop holes created because of time-travel in this show lol. Like you said, the best thing they can do at this point is to only travel to the future.
I guess it is because bunnix is a real time traveller while time tagger is just a villain who can change the present by destroying the past temporarily. It isn't permanent as hawkmoth can rewind every thing afer he get Emilie back
So here is the thing You remember when queen wasp first appeared and then they said that you can't destroy any miraculous except if u cat noir used his powers And Alix just crushes that thing like its a crunchy leaf Th??????
I know I said this in the Cat Blanc video, but Bunnyx describes Ladybug and Cat Noir's relationship as (according to the wiki) either the same, or a love square (with Kagami and Luka). If the show is planned to be resolved with Adrienette, then how would that work? Would Bunnyx fade because of that? The timeline is already so confusing. Time _travel_ messes everything up. Merely _viewing_ the past doesn't have such a rippled effect - you merely see something, and you can either be inspired by it or not, like you watched a movie. You can't change what happened in the past or future.
Not related to the time travel thing but, if the miraculous alix has is a miraculous in disguise. Why was it broken in the episode timebreaker if miraculouses are unbreakable unless cataclysm-ed?
Probably the most logical explanation is that the writers didn't think that far ahead and didn't intend it to make it a miraculous at first which resulted in a plot hole now
So, while it's confusing, the Chat Blanc and Time Tagger episodes make sense. Think of time less as something linear, and more in the concept of the burrow, where everything happens at the same time. Bunnix comes from an established future, that takes place after the Chat Blanc future has been erased. Meaning that it exists in time, linear to everything else. And the Chat Blanc isn't visible, because the only time it could occur, is when it's about to happen, and before it gets erased. Creating a small moment in time where the already altered future gets returned to what it once was, the Chat Blanc future. Adult Future happens > Adrien discovers Ladybug's identity > Chat Blanc Future occurs > Ladybug makes Adrien forget > Adult Timeline continues. A temporary point in time where a future is altered before being erased.
I think since bunnix can see the future maybe she saw her own death coming. As she was in the time matrix and the timeline played out in which she was dying she started disappearing.
Cat blanc is, personally, my least favourite episode of the show so far. Not just the time travel, timey-wimey bits, but also the show justification of why the heros identities are secret just felt dumb.
if the alternate future of cat noir being akumatized into chat Blanc was triggered by ladybugs present day self accidentally putting down her civilian name on her confession letter to adrein and timetagger established that in the future ladybug and cat noir are still fighting off against hawkmoth as adults doesn't that mean that ladybug diddent accidentally write her civilian name on her confession letter to adrein in the original version of the timeline? if so what event triggered her to do that in this timeline?
After dropping Doctor Who towards the end of the 11th's run, I am super wary of time travel be introduced into ANY story that's meant to be lore-driven. Cause that usually means quality's about to take a dip into the worst tropes usually reserved for comic book insanity.
i think time travel even more op in miraculous you get a safe magical burrow that no tech from the future can get you and you can see different things that you may not know about
My only question is IS THERE 2 BUNNY KWAMIS LIKE- IF BUNNIX HAS THE MIRACULOUS *AND* FLUFF- WHY IS FLUFF STILL THERE IS THE MIRACLE BOX WITH THE OTHER KWAMIS?!?!?!?
Actually in Avengers endgame they DID break their rules on time travel. They said they were using the multiverse theory but Captain America managed to return to the present through waiting dispute seemingly being in an other timeline
Am the only one who doesn't know how the heck Alix got the bunny miraculous in the future if it was supposedly the watch her father gave her the whole time? What's stopping her from transforming right now? I'm so confused.
I think the watches were from different timelines so the original one still exists in the miraculous box...and the other watch that passes down to Alix is belongs to the adult Alix from the future hence it's not like the other miraculous accessories which must attached to the holder as a bracelet/ring/something else....so I think it's a unique miraculous from the others
This show is some kind of puzzle game....I hope the time travelling thing should be explained from the Bunnix perspective so we can finally understand about what actually happened
@@Munblumin. I was thinking something similar, if the time is supposed to be "fixed" how is it that two watches exist at the same time? the existence of them both shows that there's different branching timelines and how it's not linear
No time traveling is awesome and it totally makes sense . In fact , I think it's the most powerful superpower because controlling time is very useful, it can even help u A a test . Plus the normal time line which had ladybug not busted and grown up was before time line b and when timeline b happened it puts timeline a in danger . It's complicated and that's what makes the power interesting and powerful
I haven't finished scrolling in the comments but I've always wondered... Which ladybug was removed from the timeline? The one who fought cat blanc(cb)ⁿ, or the one whose timeline that it it(the one that didn't time travel) Because if its the one that didn't time travel got removed... why? Its their timeline and (cb)ladybug's past, /unless she was sent to the future with either none of the knowledge or at minimum taking (cb)ladybug's place¹/ (also, like, she would put 2 and 2 together and link cat blanc to adrian...but then that one scene where she finds out to tell that master guy would play out again) And if (cb) ladybug¹ got removed... why does that timeline's ladybug² know about cat blanc That's both an anomaly and a plot hole in both cases. Especially the miraculous cleanup where, without the powers of time travel, the ladybugs went back to the future(i wonder if there's a pun here) to fix the moon and possibly anything else in that timeline Also "bunnyx" shouldn't have been vanishing due to 1.she would have been dead already because it happened before she got the time power in all timelines..or y'know its also not her timeline 2. On record to have not been anywhere near the incident 3. On record to say she isn't returning until hawk moth/shadow/monarch is defeated. This reason is because shes years older and he was defeated within a year(on record due to someone recording adrian's days at school) but then again... why would i go immediately to the final battle, when i can literally go whenever and wherever, they can wait... i literally have all the time in the world ... where was i going with this? (Beyond this point and any of /this/ is Edited) oh yeah... 4. The timeline wasn't erased it was "repaired"(see" both cases are anomalies" at paragraph 2) meaning if it was always going to be fixed ⁿ shortened name for repeated use ¹ not to be confused with the ladybug that was stoned in the future ² the one who was pushed away so the name could be erased(also has no knowledge of cat blanc)
Tldr Which ladybug got removed from the timeline, And why do they remember cat blanc but not the adrian part? The bunny shouldn't have been removed from the timeline at all I would also take my time to reach the end if i have all the time in the world
I do think they went off of the rules they set for themselves but I think if you think about It like this it more understandable. Because Marinette was found out and the timeliness where chat blanc was made, and because everyone died thats why bunnies started to dissapeared, she was dead in that timeliness as Alix before she got the miraculous, so of course she would dissapeared, she no longer existed in the future. That's the only part that made since though, but they did run off the rules they set.
At 2:25 theyre both the same timelines with the C(h)at Blanc being an absolute one because Marinette signed her name while she was Ladybug, the one where you see the future one is where it's supposed to happen (in Time Tagger). If the C(h)at Blanc were to happen, then there would be no Bunnix anymore. Marinette changed the future unknowingly, so the future one in Time Tagger is supposed to happen while C(h)at Blanc is not
There’s a question that this video made me think of and it would be really cool if you made a video about it.. So the rabbit miraculous is that pocket watch right?? Well I have a few questions about it. 1: When master fu left the guardians temple he said that he only lost the butterfly and peacock miraculous… then how does Alex’s father have it as a family heirloom? 2: I thought that miraculous were indestructible? So how is it that in TimeBreaker it was broken just by running over it? 3: Fluff lives in the Chinese miracle box right? Then does that mean that there is a place for it in the box? If so how did master fu not know that it was missing? 4: it’s been in Alex’s family for generations so does that mean that her family have been using that miraculous for years and was forgotten what it was eventually.
Time travel is hard to do right its very complicated they did it right in Avengers end game with a few rules they could not change things in the past they could only take things and it wasn't the past for our main characters it was there present for them cause that is what they were experancing it takes a bit to understand but it makes sense
It is this simple Timetagger was able to change the past because unlike the Rabbit Miraculous which was probably designed to where its user couldn’t change the past, but the Moth Miraculous just grants people powers, but it doesn’t seem to work in the same way as the Miraculous that grant the same power it doesn’t mean they have to work the same way as in that scenario you want the past to change so it causes damage where the sage who made the Miraculous wouldn’t want powers that in themselves would cause lasting damage where the Moth Miraculous it was wasn’t made to where you can’t give people powers like that I hope this makes sense
It bothers me how it’s just not consistent, I mean I know it’s a ‘kids show’ but not all kids are stupid and it’s all confusing
It's just an excuse.
Your confusing
Yeah, when the main characters are in high school or middle school, typically it will attract older kids who are around those ages. They certainly are not stupid.
Kit Sumpter it’s like ridiculously stupid.
Time travel is a big thing. You can go back and forward in time and probably fast forward or slow it down.
Exactly
But it still doesn't make sense..
That last part about speeding up and slowing down isn’t time travel, that’s time manipulation
I still don't understand how can Miraculous got destroyed by a roller blades???
I'm still bothered by the fact that there are THREE rabbit miraculouses throughout the episodes until Time Tagger. One is with Alix's family, one is with future Alix still in stasis until she can emerge (albeit it's busted), and the third is with master Fu because you can clearly see Fluff with the other kwamis whenever we're shown the inside of the miracle box and in Kwami Buster.
I was looking for this comment lol
That was also going trough my head like how does this even work?!

It’s stupid. Something in the present can’t change a completely different timeline in the future.

@@marigoldandiris3321 that's what I've been thinking I could ask the same question to these guys.
@Time Hater Wow then why are you here?
I can agree
I didnt understand anything lol
This is exactly what I thought I mean the latter part. The author just fed us with this episode to satisfy us and also to show us an alternative outcome of the series with no consequences with the actual timeline which is timeline A that ladybug later on fixes it.
@@reyxx777 Same I'm so lost lmao 😀 This whole time travelling thing is making my head explode
That would make the show make a lot more sense.
That actually makes alot of sense!

Chat blanc was supposed to be aired as a season 2 episode and it was also supposed to be a longer episode. For some reason, they cut down the episode to make chat blanc and we probably lost a lot of scenes that made the time travel plot more sense
Where did you read this?
cat balnc shouldve been a 44 minute episode cause in my opinion cat blanc was rushed it shouldve been a special episode and not a 22 minute episode cause cat blanc is a good episode but it was rushed it had alot of potencial
I remember being SO confused when I first watched it
What? I don’t rember that
In the video ''Hashtag Festival - Conférence Miraculous'' one of the participants said the episode initially had to take place in Season 2 but they had to change the plot.
Yes! That really confuses me, it doesn't make sense!
@@Munblumin. i think thomas said something about bunnyx going back into the past and adopted her ancestors then it passed down to teen alix, and i agree with what you have said.
i'm sometime can see why rick and morty's creator and rick himself doesn't like the word "time travel" itself
Why does time travel always have to be so complicated?!
@@craigpeoples9883 very well explained I must say.
@@nandiniroy386Thank you
It doesn't have to be complicated .
As you put it with the miraculous it was always meant to be given to Bunnyx
However if the different branching futures is used in this episode, going off the idea that we had 3 fights (again only for simplicity) Timetager would have sent her back into the past 2 time and she managed beat him on the third (which is what we see). The changing factor of when these timeline split is if Cat Noir broke her miraculous and by extension Timetager send her into ancient Egypt. If he does then Timetager sends her into ancient Egypt to be trapped in stone and her miraculous is passed down through generations to Alex to eventually get back to her, if he doesn’t she remains in the fight and together the three heroes are able to beat him (which again is what we see)
If it were a time loop this would happen:
Battle 1: Cat Noir breaks her miraculous and Timetager send her to ancient Egypt, many generations later the events of Timebreaker takes place and Alex gets the heirloom/miraculous. Soon enough the events of Timetager occur and Alex gives it back to Bunnyx, Cat Noir jumps in it accidentally breaks her miraculous causing Timetager to send her into ancient Egypt once again. This process would repeat indefinitely
However if it was a branching future in her last battle with Timetager she dodges the hit that would break her miraculous meaning that Timetager wouldn’t send her back (this is what we see in the episode) gather the three (I guess five if you want to include the future versions at the very end) manage to defeat Timetager. The most simple way to say this is that in one version (with the time loop) Timetager would have defeated Bunnyx no matter how many times she tried, if it was a branching future then it would be possible to change the future and stop him by dodging that hit (again this is what we see)
Your research on Cat Blanc seems to be flawless from what I can tell
I hope they make this time travelling thing clear in the future episodes from Bunnix perspective, it's because what you have said make sense
Just sayin'
"didn't was time"
gramor
Let’s be fair. Time travel in general doesn’t make any sense.
We really don't know any of the rules of time travel thats why people make up theories like "can't see your past self" "changes the events of the future" or the opposite "nothing will change because u are supposed to go back or forward"
But making these made up rules consistent really shouldn't be hard.
Interesting pov
I don't know if this makes sense or brings up more questions, but I guess it works?
Imagine having a time tagger episode in the future, in like season 7 were ladybug and chat noir are adults which will be relevant to the one we got
This is exactly what I thought
I think what it is with Cat Blanc is that this timeline does indeed have a big looptyloop at that specific point in time where in that part cat blanc will always happen due to that event with marinettes screwup now let me explain this in chronological order so bunnix arrives from in the past due to akuma attack and freezes herself in that block of stone --> is freed in future and stops timetagger -> cat blanc happens and bunnix returns -> past is fixed and time continues as normal -> timetagger causes bunnix to go to the past and damages miraculous -> cat blanc beings to affect the future world because thats when bunnix was supposed to come back a 2nd time to fix a problem she doesnt realize was gonna happen (she has the memories from the fixed timeline but doesnt know she needs to recreate the fix so the erasing timeline doesnt begin to occur until the precise moment shes forced to travel to the past again) so yeah it still is a closed loop but i understand what you mean how could the future bunnix appear in the past if paris is basically destroyed before she even grows up but its only because that bunnix is from the fixed timeline recreating that fix again in a loop
in a way this is a lot like the legend of zelda ocarina of time thing with the way you learn the song of storms because in that future the dude is already mad because of that song being played in the past (no matter if you dont have access to the song you will eventually do it anyways) so he teaches you the song and subsequently create that future
A delay in the ripples could of hit Bunix's time line years later.
its called a paradox. all time travel shows have those which is why i think writers show stay away from time travel
So as I understand it, there are 2 different rules that contradict each other:
-The loop timeline rule
-The multiple timelines (rule?)
A way to fix it is that you can say while the first rule is true in timeline #1 (our timeline), while Bunnyx can travel to a different timeline with a different Marinette, meaning timeline #1 branched into 2 different outcomes because of her signing that letter. So:
TIMELINE #1- Our cannon timeline
TIMELINE #2- timeline caused by Marinette signing the letter.
All I'm asking is how the rabbit miraculous was disguised in the first place.
~
my brain is still trying to understand time travel tho i was recently watching a show about time travel (Cleopatra in space(that's the name)) and at the end of one of the videos they explained that time travel is dangerous, confusing and very sensitive to even a slight change (but the end message was to use time wisely).
~
i actually aspire to make my own show one day and time travel is a important part of it, and i understand the importance of time travel and how i need to make it work but after seeing this video it makes me even more caution on how i want to make it worse.
~
sorry if that was a lot to read.
Cheienzee Mokachino The thing is, the episodes will be more intense, and they will have more of Felix in it.
Cheienzee Mokachino it was actually really short to me.
@@microzoftvamiraculousash1663 yeah i know that but i'm just saying i hope if they use time travel in a way that makes more sense next time
So you said at 3:20 that Marinette doesn't do anything to get Bunnix's timeline erased. 😁😅
Miraculous Lover I understand it and I agree with you :>
Paris would have been destroyed in the future so LB probably didn't get the chance to give Bunnix the Miraculous
My opinion on Bunnix:
In the Chinese zodiac, the dog (me) is only compatible with the rabbit
Light Blue and White are quite cute colours
Piercings and weird clothing (Normal form) which disturbed me.
I think what happened in miraculous universe which they might have done by accident is I think different timelines can travel to each other and fix it to make a true timeline
I agree but I just thought that she could access all types of time travel
I don’t think that a fixed loop is an option when you have a supervillain with time traveling powers.
@Antoine Gédéon Do you watch Re: Zero?
@Antoine Gédéon I really recommend you watch Re: Zero. It’s about this boy who was transported from a gas station to a fantasy world, but he is given the ability to create a time loop every time he dies. So every time he dies he knows what’s going to happen in the near future, so he can keep doing the time loop until his problem or threat is solved.
WHY CANT THEY JUST GO TO THE PAST AND PREVENT FU FROM USING THE PEACOCK MIRACULOUS
DarkFlame 31 I agrée with you
@@microzoftvamiraculousash1663 thank you
DarkFlame 31 No problem
Anyone else wondering how Marinette used Fluff in Kwami Buster, when Alix had the miraculous all along?
@Karlynn Wong what?
(For the Chat Blanc Episode)
I have a headcanon that a anomaly occurred in the time stream that affected our main timeline, instead of heroes growing up, Chat Blanc basically kills everyone, Bunnyx sensed that and time traveled to see what happened.
The anomaly occurred because of Sass using his powers in the 100th episode of miraculous, it affected the entire time stream and Bunnyx suddenly sensed it and was like "Now I gotta clean this shit up."
I'm confused too. But for the sake of the show, I'm gonna ignore it
My brain cells during this video: 📈📈📈📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉📉
that time travel did make sense. the time line did that for ladybug to grow as a character. to dumb it down the time line broke its self for ladybug to grow. thomas if you see this your a genius
Wait so Master Fu lost 3 miraculous because we didn’t know the watch was a miraculous
there is no place in the miraculous box, for the watch to stay.
1:34 the Mona Lisa behind Cat Noir its Ms Bustier, and the other picture at the right its Mr Damocles.
Lapo Guidelli Thanks for catching the that!
i think Bunnix as a hero is such a cool concept and I think she's definitely one of the more powerful miraculous users because of her time-travel abilities.
It isn't permanent as hawkmoth can rewind every thing afer he get Emilie back
It does not make sense Miraclous are indestructible but in the Timetagger episode the watch was destroyed
So here is the thing
You remember when queen wasp first appeared and then they said that you can't destroy any miraculous except if u cat noir used his powers
And Alix just crushes that thing like its a crunchy leaf
Th??????
I know I said this in the Cat Blanc video, but Bunnyx describes Ladybug and Cat Noir's relationship as (according to the wiki) either the same, or a love square (with Kagami and Luka). If the show is planned to be resolved with Adrienette, then how would that work? Would Bunnyx fade because of that? The timeline is already so confusing. Time _travel_ messes everything up. Merely _viewing_ the past doesn't have such a rippled effect - you merely see something, and you can either be inspired by it or not, like you watched a movie. You can't change what happened in the past or future.
Bunnix was intentionally vague about their relationship.
Not related to the time travel thing but, if the miraculous alix has is a miraculous in disguise. Why was it broken in the episode timebreaker if miraculouses are unbreakable unless cataclysm-ed?
they probably make the decision for watch being miraculous later from that episode xD
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID WHAT I WAS THINKING. I was watching it like "does this guy not know how time works..."
The other characters are being sent back in time. That’s why the time line goes weird.
This is literally my main question
All they had to say was time tagger caused a disturbance in the timeline and that was one big thing bunnies had to fix like with legends of tomorrow
I WAS ALSO BOTHERED BY THIS . like it makes no sense
I haven't finished scrolling in the comments but I've always wondered...
Which ladybug was removed from the timeline? The one who fought cat blanc(cb)ⁿ, or the one whose timeline that it it(the one that didn't time travel)
Because if its the one that didn't time travel got removed... why? Its their timeline and (cb)ladybug's past, /unless she was sent to the future with either none of the knowledge or at minimum taking (cb)ladybug's place¹/ (also, like, she would put 2 and 2 together and link cat blanc to adrian...but then that one scene where she finds out to tell that master guy would play out again)
And if (cb) ladybug¹ got removed... why does that timeline's ladybug² know about cat blanc
That's both an anomaly and a plot hole in both cases. Especially the miraculous cleanup where, without the powers of time travel, the ladybugs went back to the future(i wonder if there's a pun here) to fix the moon and possibly anything else in that timeline
Also "bunnyx" shouldn't have been vanishing due to
1.she would have been dead already because it happened before she got the time power in all timelines..or y'know its also not her timeline
2. On record to have not been anywhere near the incident
3. On record to say she isn't returning until hawk moth/shadow/monarch is defeated. This reason is because shes years older and he was defeated within a year(on record due to someone recording adrian's days at school) but then again... why would i go immediately to the final battle, when i can literally go whenever and wherever, they can wait... i literally have all the time in the world
... where was i going with this?
(Beyond this point and any of /this/ is Edited)
oh yeah... 4. The timeline wasn't erased it was "repaired"(see" both cases are anomalies" at paragraph 2) meaning if it was always going to be fixed
ⁿ shortened name for repeated use
¹ not to be confused with the ladybug that was stoned in the future
² the one who was pushed away so the name could be erased(also has no knowledge of cat blanc)
Tldr
Which ladybug got removed from the timeline, And why do they remember cat blanc but not the adrian part?
The bunny shouldn't have been removed from the timeline at all
I would also take my time to reach the end if i have all the time in the world
I do think they went off of the rules they set for themselves but I think if you think about It like this it more understandable.
And the fact that the camouflaged one broke by a simple roller in season one (timebreaker) is what makes the least sense
Marinette changed the future unknowingly, so the future one in Time Tagger is supposed to happen while C(h)at Blanc is not
I hope there’s more time travel in miraculous
Bunnix probably went back in time and put the miraculous in her family bloodline so she can get it from past Alex.
Eh? Watch the timetagger episode again carefully you'll see bunnix has explained how Alix had future alix watch miraculous!
Time travel is hard to do right its very complicated
they did it right in Avengers end game with a few rules they could not change things in the past they
could only take things and it wasn't the past for our main characters it was there present for them cause that is
what they were experancing it takes a bit to understand but it makes sense
Bunnyx said not to interfere with past and preset events which the citizens sent back in time clearly didn't do
Smarty Pants: Does That Make Sense
Me: Nope
Smarty Pants: Cuz it's gonna get more confusing from now
Me: Frick-
It is this simple Timetagger was able to change the past because unlike the Rabbit Miraculous which was probably designed to where its user couldn’t change the past, but the Moth Miraculous just grants people powers, but it doesn’t seem to work in the same way as the Miraculous that grant the same power it doesn’t mean they have to work the same way as in that scenario you want the past to change so it causes damage where the sage who made the Miraculous wouldn’t want powers that in themselves would cause lasting damage where the Moth Miraculous it was wasn’t made to where you can’t give people powers like that I hope this makes sense
If Alex has the bunny miraculous.....its not in the box...so there are three missing
it doesnt rlly matter about the mistakes all that matters is that its entertaining
Pretty much feels like "Loki" now.
