I snagged one and was blown away! All hammer forged, only MIM part is the spring bushing! I use the Wilson combat mags and feeds gold dot + HST just fine. TISAS is the best option for 1911s imo. If you want anything better you’ll have to spend 1300$+
I have one as well. I am very impressed with it. Compares excellently with my Ruger Military Model I have from the mid 1990's and a 1943 Ithaca production 1911A1 I have. The ejection port is too low but that is true of all modern 1911's. Also the flat main spring cover is actually from the original 1911. It should have the arched main spring housing with a lanyard loop. I put wooden double diamond grips on mine. Feels fantastic in hand. Not had a chance to shoot mine yet.
@@keithplymale2374 I'm excited about ordering my Tisas Tanker. I've always wanted a 1911 but could not afford a good one but I keep hearing good things about Tisas and the Tanker holds 8 rounds. Going to change the internals bc those are mim parts. The barrel, frame and slide are forged that's what sold me.
i bought one, shoots better than my Glock 9mm,and its a 45. this is my new carry gun. not much heavier than a pistol that holds 16 rounds,im good with 8 and a back up mag.if you gun out of ammo,it also become a great weapon made from steel.
When he opens the case and says "there's some paperwork in the back, it's not all that important" tells me, along with his lack of correct nomenclature, he isn't someone to give a proper review. Sorry not sorry.
Massad said don't slide drop any high end 1911 with a tuned up trigger on an empty chamber. It beats the shit out of the hammer and sear engagement. You can dry fire ANY 1911 all day long. I wouldn't worry too much about it on a $400 1911, though. That being said, those Tisas are damn solid guns for the money. VERY underrated. I've put thousands of rounds through mine, and it just goes and goes.
Bro.... Your gonna have a negligent discharge, where is your cool uncle, grandpa, or dad ? Damn you NEED a quiet range day with an old salt very badly ,to any enthusiast it's obvious lack of guidance not ANY fault of yours I'm not hating , if you provide ammo look for and a retired old dude to go with you be humble and listen. Ok cool but like I said it’s clearly not loaded I decock it like 50 times a video if you can’t see that then it is what it is, not going to argue that but I think other people need your lectures because I ain’t no felon it looks like they need your lessons

I have the OD green SDS TISAS, U.S. Government 1911A1 model just like yours. It is a good shooter.
I was not a fan of 45 until I bought a CZ P10F in 45. Now I want to EDC one of those Tisas but Tanker model.

Have you shot it yet?
@@donsal.t.1765 Not had the chance to. I have fired my Ruger many times over the years so I am very familiar with how the 1911 recoils and handles.

Did you find out what's going on?
If you don't plan on using that box, I'll buy it from you. My Tisas came in the cheap grey box and I want that case. Lemme know!

Get your finger OFF of the trigger guard. Grab your gripping hand completely
