    The only reason I can see why these things are so cheap is because the Turkish economy is in the tank. I picked the same gun up almost two years ago just on a whim, and the only issue I had was that the extractor was a bit tight, and causing some battery issues. I tweaked it, and I haven't had an issue since in the last 2500 rounds or so. Oh, and the grips cracked around the screw holes at about 700 rounds, but big whoop. Those are easily replaced, obviously.

    • @conservativegunsandarmor

      True! Even though the price is cheap the quality is still there which is mind blowing! At least that gives you a reason to upgrade the grip🤷🏻‍♂️

    I bought my Tisas 1911A1 about 2 years ago. Fantastic weapon. I love the fact that theres no decorations or anything like that. Just jet black, bare-bones weapon. Very reliable. Functions way better than you would think for a 400 dollar gun

    I just picked up the US Army version of the Tisas 1911 A1, and I can't wait to shoot it. It looks almost identical to an authentic military surplus gun, and since real ones are expensive, I can pretend for $300.

      I have a question for you. I am looking to get my first handgun and I’d like to go with a Tisas 1911. I have a decent bit of experience shooting as I’ve been shooting on and off since I was 7. Most of my handgun experience is with glocks. And while I like glocks I want something a bit cooler and that stands out more. If I get a Glock I’d like to get a Glock 17C as I have never seen one and it’s cooler than a regular 17 in my opinion.
      So my question, should I get a 1911 in 9mm or 45 as my first handgun? Or should I just go with something like a Glock for it’s simplicity and reliability?

    • @murphalert
      @murphalert 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@DKlikesStuff i have both keep in mind the 1911 is noticeably heavier but it is much skinnier in width or thickness compared to the G17.. personally i like my tisas better. i target shoot often and dont conceal carry everyday only when shopping or going out to eat or something i will take the 17. lighter and higher capacity

      @@murphalert yeah I figured get the 1911 now. 1911 as a show piece and fun range gun. Down the road get the Glock for practical use, mainly cause of notorious reliability and high ammo count

    Got a tisas raider (m45a1 clone) for Christmas, wow am I blown away! 600 rounds through so far and it is smooth as hell. Knew it was going to be good out of the box with how well fitted it is, sucker is TIGHT, my Springfields and DWs all had/have a slight bit of rattle but the tisas has none at all. Other mag and a Springfield mag ran fine. Pretty accurate as sights seem to be dead on. Easier CCW than full due to 4.25 inch barrel. I like it

It's a closer representation of the actual A1, example would be the ejector port is not cut lower and not chamfered, it has the lanyard loop and its marked closer to the military issue guns of WWII. Shoots great....the slide is very loose however, but no misfeeds so far. around 200 rounds in....I used your video for research ...thanks

Didn’t notice any difference from the same distance (7ish yards). You got a good tisas, mine has trouble feeding flatter nose hollows. It likes to nose dive. I am handicapped and i live on a low income. All the research I have done on the Tisas 1911A1 says it is a very well made gun.
      I just ordered my Tisas 1911A1 US Army version with the curved mainspring housing . I am a US Army veteran and this one looks exactly like the ones we had when I went to the range. I wonder why you sell some with the flat mainspring housing . That was a feature of the earlier M-1911 model i believe. My brother is 27 year old active Marine is currently in very good shape. So that takes away the grip argument (a marine knows how to hold a pistol) and the loose skin/fat argument (he’s fit) and still gets bit. He’s a bit macho and says “real men don’t complain about it” but I still wouldn’t get one without the extended beaver tail.
