When it comes to brush tutorials, application demos and explanations, you are the best hands down. When I started to replace some brushes that were 25 years old, I had know idea the expansive range available. I found your channel and literally binged watched all of your brush videos, some more than once! Thank you for the comprehensive reviews of the different styles and uses for Fude brushes…
Amy! Thank you so much for the kind words! 🥹 I truly appreciate your support, and even happier to know that my videos have been helpful to you. More to come!!
I recent purchased about 9 Sonia G brushes and wow! Alicia you have made me a convert for life. I won’t even touch my other brushes. I never knew there could be such a difference in my makeup application. You are the best!
There is no one who explains a brush like you do. You are absolutely my go-to and I thank you. This is a stellar set and a must have IMO if you love Japanese brushes.
Sonia G is the master of filling the gaps in our brush collections !!! That distinguishes her from everybody else hands down 🙌😮💨👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️ that’s why I own nearly ALL her brushes ! I got 5 of these new ones 😊 as I already own her OG brushes that I didn’t see the need to replicate just for backups or the new handles 🫶🏼 money saved 👌🏼 but my brushes arrive on Tuesday ! Thx as always for your thoughts, tips, tricks & expertise ! ❤❤❤
This is where I no issue spending my money LOL! I will be getting the full set. Sonia G are my favorite brushes. I have all of them so far. Great video!! I'd love to see more looks using them if you ever feel up to it. I love learning from you.
Yes, i always love your Sonia G videos. I read Sonia's blog, i just love that she has the blog with so much detail it's fantastic and then your video Alicia is again so detailed 😊 i have my eye on 4 of these brushes, i can't buy them all because i just bought some of Wayne's brushes , i got the Rephr holiday brush and the mini eye set and i want to try some of the Chikuhodo JS brushes just waiting for them to restock on Beautylish 😊
First off I’m a day one subscriber and love your videos because you’re very detailed and I love it! In regards to your brush videos im sorry but it upsets me that I’ve purchased EVERY brush Sonia G has made and you get them all for free. I know it’s to help promote her line but imo when someone pays for it they will keep it 💯 I don’t trust ANYONE that gets them for free. What’s not to ❤However a RUclipsr like Fancy Face she doesn’t give a damn. If she likes it or hates it she’ll tell you!!!
Alicia, it feel as though who have actually studied the composition and the use of brushes. You are truly an expert and you are so unbelievably eloquent that you attract your audience as if by magic! Congratulations! I'd also like to complement you on your skin which looks flawless and ask you which eye products you use as your eye area is just perfect. Also, what lashes are you wearing? So natural and beautiful!
Thank you so much 😭 I practice talking to myself so I can sound more articulate on video. I still have a long way to go, but your words are encouraging 🙏🏽 I haven’t been using any skincare, and if my under eyes are dry I just use a dab of Vaseline. For my concealer I use the Lancôme, and moisturizer before applying. Right now I’m using the Peach & Lily match cream for prep. And for the lashes, I believe they’re the Ardell 424!
@@aliciaarcher Thank you so much for your response! I can't believe you don't use skincare! That means you are blessed with truly beautiful skin! And I really don't think you need any improvement in your speaking skills. They're truly outstanding!
Hi Alicia, I have to say that I love using my Sonia G brushes. I take very good care of my brushes. And most of them still look good. I wish the white ones wouldn't get dirty so fast. I wish they would all be that brown shade. But I guess that's a personal preference. I know that is 8 brushes and they are very well made. But I'm going to have to purchase a few at a time. Unless a few of my family members get together and get the set for me. Thank Alicia for all the information on these brushes.
you're really the pro at explaining brushes I could watch your video 10 times and I'd get bored of it... I started my Collection thanks to you and thank you for introducing me to the Sonia G Brush brand: yes it's expensive but the quality is there and I use the brushes every day it's a real investment: I've been waiting for these brushes for a long time. I would like to have your advice: I have small eyes and drooping eyelids, which brushes do you recommend I order?
Thank you so much for the kind message! I appreciate it, and happy to know that my videos helped. For your eye shape, I would recommend the Crease M, Pencil S, Builder M or S.
LOL you described my current eye shadow routine perfectly at the end: one and done shadows from a larger palette (Isamaya's Industrial 2.0, love love love it), slap it on with a Worker brush. That brush literally is perfection in my hand!! I'm so excited for this new brush collection and thank you *so much* for your thorough, thoughtful review with demos! 💚💖💚
Thank you for that! I would go with one of the Workers, and the Builder S. Worker can lay down and blend, and Builder S will be your workhorse precision brush.
Thanks for the 411 on the brushes. I have the old set. Thinking of updating. Please tell me what lipstick you are wearing on this video, I been wanting something like it for the longest. Thank you!✌🏽
I’m much more interested on Wayne Goss brushes! Sonia G release the same brush, over and over with new handle and now does not even specify what kind of hair it is ! “Goat” , Ali express have lots of goat hair bushes with nice handles , is it kumano brushes??? How different is this goat from the Ali express goat ???
@Lux_Maddox the brands in Kumano are being competitive, and are limiting the information about the goat hair in order to maintain exclusivity. That’s not Sonia’s fault, and the fact that you would think she would use Ali Express goat hair or have the brushes made elsewhere is interesting. Sonia makes trips to Japan yearly, and is passionate about this work. You can like Wayne’s brushes more, and prefer his shapes, but to question the integrity of Sonia’s work is unnecessary. Or better yet, if you feel the way you do, you don’t have to buy them.
Ooooooo you have the Z Set!? 😍 Happy Belated, friend! I don’t have a video, but typically you wipe on a soft, microfiber towel after each use. Powder products, only! I’ll find a Fude Beauty article that provides more details. For washing, I can’t remember if it’s every month or every two months.
@@aliciaarcher thanks so much Alicia! I will keep that all in mind. I just want to make sure they last. I love my rephr brushes but these are just magnificent.
@@aliciaarcher I’ve already checked it on her blog ! In the case of the Niji Pro brush for example- at the moment the manufacturer is not based in Kumano Town and, because of that, is not eligible for the “K” sticker, neither the Jumbo Bronzer nor the Hinoki set come with the sticker.

I’ve been waiting for this video! 🎉 Can we get a comparison with Rephr brushes?
I’ll probably film one down the line at some point. Wish I had the Wayne brushes to do a triple whammy comparison 😮💨 But we can use photos 😅
Fun vid! You’ve sold so many brushes w your exquisite reviews.
Excellent breakdown/description and demo of the brushes. Thank you
I absolutely love these brushes 💜

Very thorough demo. I've been looking for a replacement to the crease two brush. Looks like crease L is it..

Do you think these will be on sale this holiday season?
These are never on sale. The best bet is the beautylish gift card event that happens twice a year. The next such event will be next spring.
Definitely not since they just released.
Uuuughhh these are gorgeous but... I cannot buy them. 😫 I have to be happy with what I have... which is probably 200 brushes LOL

Are they Kumano ? Do they have the stamp on the plastic sleeve???
They are 100% made in Kumamo. If they weren’t, Sonia would not be releasing them.
