(You're already pronouncing the vowels and when speaking SAH-EE is a little too much emphasis if you separate too much, since the vowels here slide into each other... if that makes sense? ;) ) ＊Just for fun, here are the general definitions of goat hair bristle types: - "Goat Hair": catch all for natural goat hair bristles - "Sokoho": A higher grade and softer goat hair, generally taken from areas under the chin, around the neck, chest of the goat. - "Saikoho": The softest highest grade hairs selected from the Sokoho hairs. The softness is said to be almost comparable with squirrel but still retains the spring that goat hairs are known for.

I am happy for you but tbh I don't think this was a fair move of beautylish. I e mailed this afternoon also, morning in america, asked what time they were launching, and they never said, oh well you can pre order them now if you like I had no idea you could pre order so I have always been very happy with their CS but with this launch they didn't do it right nor fair but thats my opinion and it wouldn't have crossed my mind to ask this afo for pre order because I assumed we all had to wait for launch time
Yea I totally agree, it doesn’t seem quite fair for ppl that didn’t know. I only knew from comments ppl were saying and thought u had to call in to pre order but I emailed. I’m sure they will take all this into consideration for next sales in the future. Like make an announcement pre orders are open from this date to this date before actual launch date.
Wow! Wow! Wow!! You are telling me that we could have preordered this set? I was never notified by Beautylish and I got the email when that the brushes went "live" after 10am 🤦🏻♀️. My SoniaG Sky Set arrived today!! oh happy day!! Girl, I could not wait to try them out. I grabbed up my Wayne Goss palette, my Pat McGrath Blitz Ritualistic Rose, and away I went. OMG....the softness of these brushes, the glide, the product laydown payoff.....what more can I say? I was kicking myself in my bountiful rear end at first for spending that kind of money but talk about an investment! Had I known this in the beginning... I literally have a collection of synthetic brushes that literally has a total cost of much more that I have spent on the Sky Set. Heck, I could have gotten the Pro Set too (would give anything to have that set)....However, I am awaiting my order for the Rephr 3 and a boat load of Hakuhodo so I should be set. I give thanks to both you and Mel Thompson for being the main two who helped me make the natural-hair eye brush jump. :)
I emailed beautylish yesterday and pre ordered these didn’t want to miss out again. Was also able to order the designer pro this morning your review on this brush was amazing. Another awesome video by Alicia!! Of course I purchased these brushes in advance (I think I am missing one brush at this time - and I love each one of them), like I told you a long time ago, I am a die-hard fan of Sonia G's brushes (I still love my Wayne Goss brushes and I have the Artis line of brushes - which serve their own purpose as well. The Rephr brushes are coming soon and I ordered Michele's brushes from Esum, so excited for her too!). You may also feel this way, but I think Sonia's brushes are actually a bargain given the quality, craftsmanship and unique shapes the she provides with all her brushes (I realize some are more standard, but I still feel like they are 'also' unique). Thank you for the thorough video, you always work so hard to provide us with outstanding content and I think you should have your own collab (maybe someday soon 🤞). Even though the Sky eye set is currently sold out, this video will be here for those of us who love to watch your tutorials and also for the people who may want to purchase the brushes when they are back in stock. Your videos are delightful. Expertise yes but with a healthy dose of humor and vibrant personality. I think the wild success of Sonia G shows that what we are all looking for in our lives is quality. Next I'll get Wayne Goss brushes BUT I say all of that to say these folks need to start paying you or something because imho You are honest, Trustworthy and share my passion for makeup and brushes. I'm late to the party but I ponied up and bought these brushes. I have almond shaped hooded eyes. UGH! I try so hard to get the shadow right but it never worked. You could sell ice in Alaska. Looking forward to receiving them and playing with my ND and PMG eyeshadows. Woo hoo!

Oh wow, there are two brushes in this collection, I neeeeeed: flat definer and mini booster. Wow, these both look really unique. Do you know if there is a plan to sell the brushes separately?
I love your channel and how unique you are. I'm hoping you can help me fall in love with my Sonia G eye brush sets (I have both Sky Eye and the Pro Eye Set). I've paid $332 for these brushes collectively and I just don't enjoy them. I feel like there's something I'm missing. They're just too dense and scratchy for me. Am I supposed to make them "bloom" somehow? (I have washed them.) I feel like they don't blend my eyeshadow enough and they don't have enough movement. I prefer my Sigma, Zoeva and Bdellium Tools brushes more but everyone seems to think Sonia G brushes are the best. Please help me appreciate these brushes and get the most out of my investment.
I'm so excited for these to arrive - especially the flat definer. I am useless with liquid and even pencil liner, but I love using shadow as liner, and this one looks perfect. 😍
You’re going to love it! I was surprised with how well it swept the shadow across with such ease! And I never like to apply shadow on my lash line. But with this!?!? Game over!!!

Between her blog (loooooovvvveee) and her product descriptions, Ms. G does an awesome job explaining why Crease 1 is different from pro crease and why the difference matters with every brush. Sometimes, I will just go through brush descriptions of hers and read them. Even if I don't have the brush and its out of stock.I think skin care ingredients are my favorite form of nerditry, but brush descriptions are super close. Well, running an international online alliance of a game set in kind of a middle earth situation is maybe my biggest nerditry. But i don't know, brushes and skincare are super close, and if I want to soothe myself without buying I can read brush descriptions for a solid hour (downside: I end up buying them later. But is that a downside?).

The brushes in Michele’s set are amazing, but I the blending brushes are made of goat, and but I don’t think the same grade of goat of Sonia’s. The Sky Set I think will be more gentle on your lids.

Are they equally soft and pick up the same amount of products? Hooray! Thank you for letting me know! Dyed is softer, and I feel a leaves behind a softer blend. Undyed is still soft, but not as much as dyed. And it grand more product!
I can’t believe that I literally bought the Pro Eye set last week. I’m still playing with the Pro Eye and might still buy one or two brushes of the Sky Eye set once they are available to purchase individually. I probably would have bought this set instead - although the Pro Eye set is fabulous from the limited play I’ve had so far.

@@aliciaarcher Girl, you ain't jokin for sure. I am telling you, this is my first experience with the natural-hair brushes and I am hooked! If my budget was not shot to the moon and back right now, I would most def pick up that Pro Set (fav color is red; got the blue cause I am a 62+ y/o with sagging eyes). These just plain out GLIDE on the lids and makes application super smooth and easy. I will turn 63 on 09-16 ... hummm...maybe I should treat myself...lol ...as if I haven't already :)
I might pick up that smaller crease brush when they're available individually & possibly that smaller flat brush that you used to line your eyes with shadow. I did buy 2 of her Pro brushes( I think it was the Builder & Worker Pro) during the Giftcard sale & while I think the quality & beauty of the brushes is A+ the size & shape aren't quite right for me to use everyday.& I prefer my Esum brushes. The Blender Pro was sold out unfortunately. I will say I love the Sculp 3 fan brush & Design Pro face/cheek brush i purchased. I am using those every time I wear makeup. That little fan brush is amazing for applying soft contour & the face brush is perfect for the smaller pan sizes of a face palette.
I missed this but just in case it becomes available again or is sold individually, I was wondering how the soft shader compared to the Hakuhodo J242? Man, I didn’t plan on buying these but I didn’t realize the sizes are perfect my eye size!
The soft shader is bigger and has a little more movement. I can lay down and blend with the soft shader, whereas with the J242 I primarily use it for laying down.
Yesssss these will go perfect with my Lila pallet 💙💙💙 Also- do you have any suggestions on how to clean these? I wash my other natural hair brushes with shampoo and conditioner and shape them with netting. I certainly do not want to ruin these after 2 washes thank you in advance 🖤🖤

My SoniaG Sky Set arrived today!! oh happy day!! Girl, I could not wait to try them out. I grabbed up my Wayne Goss palette, my Pat McGrath Blitz Ritualistic Rose, and away I went. OMG....the softness of these brushes, the glide, the product laydown payoff.....what more can I say? I was kicking myself in my bountiful rear end at first for spending that kind of money but talk about an investment! Had I known this in the beginning... I literally have a collection of synthetic brushes that literally has a total cost of much more that I have spent on the Sky Set. Heck, I could have gotten the Pro Set too (would give anything to have that set)....However, I am awaiting my order for the Rephr 3 and a boat load of Hakuhodo so I should be set. I give thanks to both you and Mel Thompson for being the main two who helped me make the natural-hair eye brush jump. :)

Another awesome video by Alicia!! Of course I purchased these brushes in advance (I think I am missing one brush at this time - and I love each one of them), like I told you a long time ago, I am a die-hard fan of Sonia G's brushes (I still love my Wayne Goss brushes and I have the Artis line of brushes - which serve their own purpose as well. The Rephr brushes are coming soon and I ordered Michele's brushes from Esum, so excited for her too!). You may also feel this way, but I think Sonia's brushes are actually a bargain given the quality, craftsmanship and unique shapes the she provides with all her brushes (I realize some are more standard, but I still feel like they are 'also' unique). Thank you for the thorough video, you always work so hard to provide us with outstanding content and I think you should have your own collab (maybe someday soon 🤞). Even though the Sky eye set is currently sold out, this video will be here for those of us who love to watch your tutorials and also for the people who may want to purchase the brushes when they are back in stock. Your videos are delightful. Expertise yes but with a healthy dose of humor and vibrant personality. I think the wild success of Sonia G shows that what we are all looking for in our lives is quality. I find the eyeshadows doesn't stay on long, I use tarte shape tape as eyeshadow base. This doesn't happen with my Charlotte tilbury. I appreciate any tips. Thanks xx

I love your channel and how unique you are. I'm hoping you can help me fall in love with my Sonia G eye brush sets (I have both Sky Eye and the Pro Eye Set). I've paid $332 for these brushes collectively and I just don't enjoy them. I feel like there's something I'm missing. They're just too dense and scratchy for me. Am I supposed to make them "bloom" somehow? (I have washed them.) I feel like they don't blend my eyeshadow enough and they don't have enough movement. I prefer my Sigma, Zoeva and Bdellium Tools brushes more but everyone seems to think Sonia G brushes are the best. Please help me appreciate these brushes and get the most out of my investment.
I'm so excited for these to arrive - especially the flat definer. I am useless with liquid and even pencil liner, but I love using shadow as liner, and this one looks perfect. 😍
You’re going to love it! I was surprised with how well it swept the shadow across with such ease! And I never like to apply shadow on my lash line. But with this!?!? Game over!!!

Between her blog (loooooovvvveee) and her product descriptions, Ms. G does an awesome job explaining why Crease 1 is different from pro crease and why the difference matters with every brush. Sometimes, I will just go through brush descriptions of hers and read them. Even if I don't have the brush and its out of stock.I think skin care ingredients are my favorite form of nerditry, but brush descriptions are super close. Well, running an international online alliance of a game set in kind of a middle earth situation is maybe my biggest nerditry. But i don't know, brushes and skincare are super close, and if I want to soothe myself without buying I can read brush descriptions for a solid hour (downside: I end up buying them later. But is that a downside?).

They definitely complement each other. The Sky eye set has softer blenders for times you need a more diffused finish.

Milieu has the warmer brown tones, whereas Dark Mattes has stand alone shades like plum, teal, olive, orange, and maybe one or two browns.

The brushes in Michele’s set are amazing, but I the blending brushes are made of goat, and but I don’t think the same grade of goat of Sonia’s. The Sky Set I think will be more gentle on your lids.

I was wondering if you could do a video on how to care for natural brushes. I purchased the Sonia g full collection,the Wayne Goss eye collection and just purchased the Esum eye collection from Michelle Wang. I’m super happy with the brushes however I know you have to be careful with cleaning. Do you condition your brushes? Do you hang your brushes to dry? Love your videos!😍

Hooray! Thank you for letting me know! Dyed is softer, and I feel a leaves behind a softer blend. Undyed is still soft, but not as much as dyed. And it grand more product!
I can’t believe that I literally bought the Pro Eye set last week. I’m still playing with the Pro Eye and might still buy one or two brushes of the Sky Eye set once they are available to purchase individually. I probably would have bought this set instead - although the Pro Eye set is fabulous from the limited play I’ve had so far.

If my budget was not shot to the moon and back right now, I would most def pick up that Pro Set (fav color is red; got the blue cause I am a 62+ y/o with sagging eyes). These just plain out GLIDE on the lids and makes application super smooth and easy. I will turn 63 on 09-16 ... hummm...maybe I should treat myself...lol ...as if I haven't already :)
I might pick up that smaller crease brush when they're available individually & possibly that smaller flat brush that you used to line your eyes with shadow. I did buy 2 of her Pro brushes( I think it was the Builder & Worker Pro) during the Giftcard sale & while I think the quality & beauty of the brushes is A+ the size & shape aren't quite right for me to use everyday.& I prefer my Esum brushes. The Blender Pro was sold out unfortunately. I will say I love the Sculp 3 fan brush & Design Pro face/cheek brush i purchased. I am using those every time I wear makeup. That little fan brush is amazing for applying soft contour & the face brush is perfect for the smaller pan sizes of a face palette.
I missed this but just in case it becomes available again or is sold individually, I was wondering how the soft shader compared to the Hakuhodo J242? Man, I didn’t plan on buying these but I didn’t realize the sizes are perfect my eye size!
The soft shader is bigger and has a little more movement. I can lay down and blend with the soft shader, whereas with the J242 I primarily use it for laying down.

Also- do you have any suggestions on how to clean these? I wash my other natural hair brushes with shampoo and conditioner and shape them with netting. I certainly do not want to ruin these after 2 washes thank you in advance 🖤🖤
I wash them with my Signa soap once a month, and lay them flat to dry. I skip the brush guards because I like them to dry fluffy.
