How to HARD Reset Your PS5 (Easy Method)

Do you want to know how to HARD RESET your PS5 and restore the default settings, delete all data and users. This will fix many issues and it will prepare your PS5 for reselling. To do this, hold down the power button on the PS5 and completely turn off the PS5. Then hold down the power button when the PS5 is turned off and this will launch it into safe mode. Then plug your controller in. Then go to option 6 reset options.

I am doing this but when I wait for the second beep. I press the ps button only for it to turn teal for less then a second and I am left with the screen display showing to connect the controller and press the ps button. It is connected and charges the controller but will not go anywhere further.
The controller also will not turn on the ps anymore

That is not really a hard reset, this is a factory reset it is completely different
