This is beyond epic on so many levels. I wonder if the Linda Hopkins episode of Stars In One was the last they did on SCTV.

I am fairly certain the last sketch of the NBC show was Stars in One when Brock goes back and visits his hometown

The only thing missing is Bob Hope mentioning his upcoming special on NBC with the Golddiggers and Lola Falana. It seems like he always had something else to plug.

This is twice as funny now that I know who Brian Linehan was.

Brian Linehan was also a part of the inspiration for Short's "Jiminy Glick".

Brian Linehan, who is being parodied here, asked Martin Short to stop doing the parodies, which he did. They were both from Hamilton and knew each other. Dave's Bob hope is excellent. They have a great episode where Moranis played Woody Allen, who revered Hope. to Daves Bob Hope.
