Hi guys, great video today💕 I know exactly how you were feeling back in Canada with this pandemic, and the beautiful beaches and ocean is definitely the right medicine, so, so healing in many ways. The Dominican people are beautiful, I miss the friends I have made there and the general vibe altogether, it was great seeing you walking in town and those two chicos catching a moment on film, love it, miss it. Take care💕
Hi Anna & Trevor! I have to admit when you said initially that you guys were staying there for 6 months, I was wondering how you could possibly make 6 months of videos about the Dominican! I don't have to wonder anymore, you really have done it well. You have kept us entertained, and really opened our eyes. We have been to a lot of the Caribbean Islands, but for some reason, never the Dominican. It has everything we look for, beautiful beaches, quieter areas, great food, nice people & NO SNOW! LOL. Sad to see Eric & Allison leave, but it was great to see you guys together again. 😎
We could honestly make videos about this place for the rest of our lives 😅 There's so much to see and do. We're glad you're enjoying the vlogs - Trevor
I enjoyed watching you guys enjoy our beloved Dominican Republic! I had the privilege of getting to know my native country quiet a bit while growing up. I went many places in DR, but always confirm the entire Samaná province has stolen my heart. It was great watching your series about our beloved DR. When i say "our", you are included. It clearly has stolen your heart too, rightfully so; DR belongs to you, and a part of your heart belongs to the DR. This casa is always su casa amigos! ❤

Hello. Saludos.
Never seen you happier and you couldn’t have chosen to stay in a more beautiful place to decompress from the challenges of 20 & 21! Excellent video as always guys! Looking forward to the drone shots! ~Cara 😊
Glad to see you all made it to the 6 month mark. Your absolutely right about the beach helping with mental health. Living there for 5 years helped me tremendously on mental health. Relaxing on the beach and clearing my mind to get closer to God spiritually changed my life. Proud of the both of you many wouldnt survive that long😆 Good stuff🤗👍🏼
Great video. Even though I was born there; left as a child and never went back. But the Dominican Republic is a paradise; hopefully I’ll visit someday. Thank you for the good opinions about the DR. Blessings.🙏❤️🇺🇸🇩🇴
I just came upon your Dominican Republic videos and I'm beyond thrilled. My plan was Las Terrenas only, but it seems now I may split time with visiting Cabaret too! Excellent videos, thanks . I'm interested in knowing the name of the apartment complex you stayed at. Happy travels!
Love how you guys constantly share your appreciation towards my country. You've also explored more than myself. Guess that's what happens when you're from the capital. Anyway, thanks for the incessant love. Kudos!
Guys we were in Samana and Las Terrenas in January 2022. You are so right. The beaches are amazing and the people. Totally awesome for mental health. Keep on doing what you are doing. Enjoying your videos🤩
We just love you guys 🥰 We enjoy every single detail or comment you guys make. Even we are Dominicans we learn a lot from your experience, cause we live in Florida for so many years and just go and visit DR no more than a week or two yearly. Thanks 👍🏼
I'm Dominican and I love my country. I like your channel and your videos. I was just there for two months in Las Terrenas and Punta Cana making travel videos while singing my experiences in short stories songs.
I rented where you guys are staying at. Good security, good internet, staff is nice. They have a generator in case power goes out. Not far from bars and shopping. I love it there. I also know the blue and white building is a nice one too. It too has security and it's empty because it's mostly rented by Dominicans, but Canadians and Americans own there as well. A lot of snowbirds go there. I own there as well. Cabarete is a great place to visit. There's a lot to do there. And it's safe there.
Wow that looks like some feast! 🤩 Such a nice way to get there as well. Aw, always sad to say goodbye to friends. Hope you all can catch up again soon.
Cabarete is my absolute favorite place in the DR. Discovered it 5 years ago and have been back multiple times!! Love your videos. Officially a new subscriber!
In between Cabarete and las Terrenas you try visiting 2 interesting spots: Rios San Juan and Cabrera. There you can visit: Rio san juan- playa grande and laguna gri gri (including the boat tour) Cabrera- playa diamante, el DuDu lake (including surrounding caves), agua azul lake, cabo frances viejo and eating cheese at Don Bululú (best Dominican fresh cheese and yogurt)
Love your videos!! We are planning a trip to Cabarete. You guys said in this video that you're in the east part of Cabarete. Where would the main part of the town be located?
A country is not only about their places and what it have is also about the people. Here in the DR we hace good weather, good food, a lot of activities to do beside the beach and the people, we are very warm people and everybody cares about everybody and this is a blessing that not all countries have🇩🇴🙏🏼🙌🏼
This has been a great series. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good for mental health. No need to rush home as it’s still too darn cold. Continue to enjoy and thanks for sharing.😎
Thanks so much for all of your delightful information! We visited Cabarate this year for 2 1/2 weeks and can’t wait to get back again. Will definitely try Wilsons next time!
Nice spot in Cabarete, good layout and view of the ocean. Have fun in Las Terrenas! Our friends (Michele & Michael McKay) retired there in December 2021 and just love it!
Is the Hexenkesel (sp?) restaurant still around in Cabarete? It was our very favorite place to eat, amazing German food! They had the best snitzel with mushroom gravy and spatzel! Sosua beach is beautiful with the cliffs, we loved hanging out there and there's so many vendors and restaurants to try!
If you can spend a weekend in the Santo Domingo financial district before you leave the country, I think that would be great. There are lots of restaurants, a few malls, plazas. Take a ride on the Metro (subway), and much more.
Great video the place is absolutely beautiful ocean front view wow!! Sad saying goodbye to friends for sure...looking forward to the next adventure you take!!...viv
At 3:10 you began to speak about something many of us have faced or are facing. So important to self care. The ocean has always been a healing place for me, It grounds me. I Am very interested to hear about how you find places to stay.
How did we miss this video!?! Love it guys! Wilson's is our favorite, wish we could have done that with you! Thanks for all the beautiful footage of the apartment 🥰
A couple of weeks ago we saw some of your videos of Las Terrenas. We booked a flight and here we are... in las Terrenas. We Will stay here for a month. We are at Playa Bonita and rented a quad so we can see al the beautiful places here. May be we will see each other, would be nice.
Before you leave my country I suggest you to visit Bahia de las aguilas Pedernale southwest coast close to Haiti. The most beautiful beach. God bless you and enjoy my paradise Quisqueya taino name of DR.
Thanks for your video. Between your videos and William Tauden, I booked a 2 week working vacation in Cabarete for April. I rather be in Thailand doing it but gotta stick close to US time.
Love the place you stayed in with that fabulous patio overlooking the beach! Just wondering, as a fellow Canadian, what will happen to your health care, being out of Nova Scotia for more than 6 months? The food at Wilson's looked amazing :)
That is my question as well - it seems as though you need to be physically present in NS for 183 days a year to be eligible for health care, similar to other provinces. I moved from Alberta to Mexico years ago, so of course had to cancel my Canadian health care. This brings me to my next question for Trevor and Anna - what is the health care system in the DR like?
Thanks guys... RUclips is our job of course and the following is straight off of NS Heath's site 😀 - Trevor ---- Residents are entitled to a 12 month absence once every six years. If your job requires you to leave Nova Scotia frequently (not physically present for a minimum of 183 days), but Nova Scotia is your permanent home, you may still be eligible for coverage.

It's been a long winter; looking at being in DR soon!! Stay a YEAR and keep the videos rolling!! 🤣🙌👍

Loved seeing all your adventures again. That rental looks lovely especially being steps from the beach. Just out of interest, my first trip to the DR was to Luperon (it was a long time ago) and at that time I believe it was a Sosua beach trip that I went on, It was fun seeing you doing things together with the Endless Adventure
Hi guys! I saw you on the beach in Las Terrenas a couple days ago and said hi. I have a suggestion for a really unique place to visit in Puerto Plata. The cable car on Isabel de Torres mountain just opened back up this past week and the scientific nature reserve on top is absolutely breathtaking! You will LOVE it!
We are from the Annapolis Valley in NS and and am looking forward to your Las Terrenas video. We are looking at moving there. Happy travels and thanks for the info!
Hello Anna and Trevor thank you so much for sharing your wonderful travel in the Dominican Republic. We stayed in Punta Cana in October 2021. We had a flight arranged to the Samana peninsula and were Very disappointed that the flight was canceled! Because we only had 10 days in the Dominican we were not able to visit Samana or Las Terrenas. I am really enjoying your videos to those places. Thank you for sharing them with us all! We will definitely go back and see those places sometime in the future. Can you tell me the name of the apartments you stayed at in Cabarete in your March video? Safe travels!!

The Playa always wins right!? 🤗 🏝 Hope you're doing great Emma - Trevor
Where do you recommend a girls trip for safety and beautiful beaches .
If you want to see crocodiles, you should visit Lake Enriquillo.
Thank you for all of the videos!! You ARE delightful 😜😜. So glad to see you happy. My wife and I want to come and live there...we used to have a house in US Virgin Islands...that beautiful water helped "turn off all the noise and stress of the US rat race"
I own a company that builds houses in -20 wind-chill Minneapolis...and we are outside all day.

We'll miss our friends but we're not leaving the DR anytime soon. We heard great things about Luperon - Anna

I stayed 14 months in cabarete, sosua and nagua.

Thanks.. we stayed at the Victorian and Seawinds in Cabarete. Next time definitely visit LT... it's amazing here (we're in LT now) 🤗 - Anna
thanks you for all the information, did you guys applied for Dominican residency?
Best video to date perhaps, although I'm still playing catch-up on the earliest ones. Just started following you on IG as well. Looking forward to the Q&A vid.
Great video! I'm headed to Puerto Plata in a month and I can't wait. I appreciate all of the insights and info you guys have shared about the area. Have you both learned Spanish at all?
Saw you this morning passing by the Boulangerie in LT. Didn't realize it early enough to say hello!! So Ola!
Leaving Saturday after 5 weeks in LT. 😥
Small town right? hehe... 👋 You'll see around I'm sure. We're here for the next 2 weeks or so - Trevor
Hey Anna and Trevor! I just recently discovered your channel and immediately binged many of your videos haha! Being a Newfoundlander, it is so exciting and interesting to watch people from our little Atlantic Canada travel the world and explore so many new cultures. Hoping to do the same one day! 😁
Welcome to the channel Melanie 😀 We're so glad you found us. We hope to make it up to NFLD at some point as well. It was supposed to happen last summer... maybe this one 🤞 - Trevor
@@DelightfulTravellers That would be awesome! The entire province is actually having their ‘Come Home Year’ celebrations this summer so I highly recommend checking it out!

Oh good to know! - Anna
Can you make a video on what budget can you live comfortably in the dr. What’s your total cost. Food, rent, bills, and so on.. thanks
There's one on the channel already!
I love this! I am Dominican from the north so this brings me so much joy! Btw Playa encuentro is amazing for surfing if you guys are into that . DR truly has it all! Go to Dunes de Bani and it’s like you are in a desert, Constanza is beautiful too it is cold and feels like you are experiencing a nice fall.
Thanks for watching Izzy 🤗
