Real violence has real consequences. This was Snyder's whole critique on Batman and why he had him kill in BVS. Beating criminals up night after night will eventually lead to someone's death. Either on purpose or by accident. Snyder's take was a realistic take on these characters. It was also done to show that Bruce was willing to go all the way against Superman.

They complicated things for Arrow. It was only when Felicity joined the team that he stopped dropping bodies, because she didnt like him killing folks. And then when he stopped, it was Felicity telling him he SHOULD off certain villains. It wasn't Oliver picking and choosing who dies, it was his friends putting him through the emotional ringer, no matter what choice he made. Damned if he did and damned if he didnt.
I so wanted to see this movie. And so wanted to see Deathstroke. Hopefully we get a live action Deathstroke soon. I was so excited for it and so disappointed when they decided not to do it. What a shame imperialism. I need bright side the new Superman trailer just dropped and I am pumped for that now!!
Daredevil Extended cut really fleshed out the plot and gave more depth to all the players including a more violent kingpin. Had to change my opinion on the film to positive after we got the "real" version. There are so many of these cancelled films with great premises but the real tragedy would be the compromised release like all of sony's spiderverse spinoffs (those venom movies are a crime to the character).
I keep wishing the DD Director's cut be released on stealing services but it's never happened. I may just have to end up paying to rent it, or look for a pirated copy lol

The warehouse scene from 'Batman V Superman' is the BEST Batman action scene I've ever seen. Yeah, better than Burton, Nolan, Reeves, it's the best action I've ever seen from Batman in a movie. It's Rocksteady Batman on screen, it's perfect. The rest of the movie isn't in the same level, BUT... imagine an entire Batman movie like that scene? Now THAT I would pay for. I want to see a Batman that is showing all his expertise. I don't want none of that "oh it's realistic, he's just a guy" bs, NO! I want to see the best detective in the world, the best fighter, the absolute beast that terrifies Gotham. Oh and I want that suit. I don't want another armor. Unfortunately we'll probably never get that because DCEU is dead and Affleck is done. Maybe DCU can do something like that, once James Gunn stops fiddling with anything except A-list characters, but I doubt it will go that heavy.
here is some "hate" from a snyder fan - the bleeding scene traces back to the movie 300 - the meaning behind it is that when you have a godlike character that seems unkillable and untouchable you don't have to destroy them. if you manage to make them bleed others will know it is possible to defeat them. the execution of that scene could have been done better
I never understood why Bruce was mad at Superman during the Zod invasion. Yeah, hella people died during the alien one vs. one in Metropolis, but what was the alternative? Zod et. al. was planning to terraform the earth and literally wipe out every human being ever.
Because Schneider's Batman literally said "If there's just 1% of him posing a threat we must treat it as 100%". He got bored killing nameless thugs and decided to pick a bone with someone more powerful for funsizes. Hell, Lex Luthor's reason made more sense.

It was a huuuge mistake to not give us this movie. In times when 90% of superhero productions ends us as family friendly comedy movies without any depth, DC really needs such a movie. Lots of people want darker, more brutal DC stories where director takes the story of chosen comic characters seriously. Just look at the success of Nolan's realistic take. Or how much people loved last Batman movie. Downfall of DCEU started with the first Shazam movie, when instead of continuing what Snyder started, WB decided that it's time for cheap copies of Marvel's overused formula. But such style doesn't fit the most popular DC characters. We won't get adaptations of "Death in the family" or other classic Batman stories until studio will understand what DC fans expect to see. For now, DCU started with slightly more serious copy of Harley Quinn show in form of Creature Commando and Superman looks like a huge nostalgia bait similar to No Way Home. It's clear that we need a parallel storyline, separate from DCU, where movies will be more similar to Penguin, Batman, Joker (first one), MoS, BvS, ZSJL, Watchmen or Nolan's trilogy. You can call me edgy or whatever, I don't care :p
Warner Brahs lacks the literal creative pears and spine. I liked Batfleck, he was easily the best part but the biggest fault about the Snyder shit was the writing. I love the Accountant, Live by Night and the Town (fun fact one of the writers of the film is Peter Craig, who went on to pen Top Gun Maverick and the Reeves Batman film, of which I am a big fan of). We should've gotten this as a proper send off for Batfleck instead of that abortionious Flash movie starring a real life predator.
I honestly think Christopher nolans dark knights broke the system for dc and batman, dont think any batman story can match that trilogy, but good luck to them trying!
