First Fix explained

If you're having your bathroom renovated or even having an additional bathroom added to your home when it comes to the process it's split into 2, first up you have the first fix - it can be a confusing term if you're not in the industry so we have put together a small video explaining what a first fix includes and how it's done.

Absolutely awesome work is going in here
Not one plastic push fit pipe in sight , this is the first vid I’ve seen in years that hasn’t been full of plastic pipes and push fit fittings
ALL there bathroom renovation companies now seem to be using plastic push fit pipes , and all have a rubber gasket to sea the joint , and all rubber gaskets perish over time , and just like all these new builds with all these push fits concealed in walls and under floors , in twenty years time when the gaskets perish and fail , they is gonna be lots of flooded houses up and down the uk

Neat work.. all looks very slick at the time.. I'm doing my bathroom atm and I just couldn't bring myself to run pipework behind walls.. it's a nightmare waiting to happen!

Well that's plumbing for you just make sure its done correctly and if you can test before boarding etc

Very neat job. What tool do you cut out the timbers with to recess the pipes into?
And whats the shower tray fitted onto? Can you bed stone resin onto 22mm weyrock or does it require ply between screwed down?
