I was in Sri Lanka in February and visited the memorial for the victims of the tsunami and saw some of the buildings that had just been left deserted. Being there made me feel sad now watching this has brought back all the sadness I felt when I was there. Our tour guide told us hundreds of people rushed out to catch the fish that had been stranded when the water went out and no one knew why until it was loo late

The whole country has so much beauty which I only saw some of while there. I will definitely be going back as soon as I can so I can see more.

Most people world wide knew the word tsunami, they just didn't know what it exactly looked like. These waves looked normal from a distance, and that was expected.
