At 25:30 you are passing variables straight to the query. This is a well-known exploit in PHP and you should be aware of that. Anyone can execute example DROP TABLE through your XHR request. Or in the worst scenario export user information like social security numbers from the database. No wonders why there are so many bad websites on the internet if people are learning from these kinds of videos.
