Janis Vaskevics Chris really works wonders with the mapping, she’s a little stuttery when slow and low in the rev’s but that’s due to Gen90 ECU starting to get to its limits and it’s hard to map the large injectors in. But she’s lovely to drive once moving
@@Steffrallye She is definitely gorgeous, my girlfriend is not even close😁I managed to check out their website. Their products are rock solid. I intend on to engine swap my Clio for a megane Rs 275 trophy or R26 F1 and give it some mods. Thanks for the recommendations
@@thapeloraboshaga9086 😂😂 thank you, let's hope your missus doesn't read that 😂 Its a great swop tho does require more work, go with the 250/260/275 as its a much stronger engine
Epic. 😱 Any plans on tracking it at brands hatch any time soon? I live like 10 mins from there and I’d love to see this in the flesh! Also what front splitter do you have?
BIAWolf nothing to soon, anglesey first as it’s local and good test. I’m booked for the ring start of August but after that I’ll be heading further out and brands is somewhere I’d love to go. The splitter is 3mm dibond, cmcomposites sell them but you can buy a sheet and cut it for much less.
Ethan Jimenez hey, sure! Next time I buy something or make s change I’ll do a full recap. But I’m off to the Ring in a couple days so getting that done first.
I have a clio 172 phase 1 and mine auto lock's like your's it does my bloody head in lol Any modifications to the transmission ect to cope with all the extra horsepower & torque?
Mark Lawson it’s the first time it’s ever done it but tbh I normally take the key out by habit. Guess Chris just had a moment but made it a laugh. Gearbox is standard apart from a LSD fitted. It needs it 😅
Hi mate. I have a very similar setup to you, could you tell me what spec your boost solenoid is and how you wired it to your Gen90? Great build by the way 😁
Winklexx thank you! I’m using a MAC 3 port boost solenoid, very simple to fit with only two wires, one being a 12v feed and the other ecu control. I’d have to check again which pins was what as it’s been awhile now but happy to have a look again if you want.
Winklexx can’t find away to message you directly with a photo etc. Pin 1 (Live) Boost controller - to Pin 66 ECU which is a thick green. Tap into this. Pin 2 Boost controller - To Pin 88 thin cream?? Direct connection Hope that helps, you owe me beer tokens 😂😂
Hey Ben, forged rods and pistols, forged valves and upgraded anything else around them basically, eg bearings etc. The manifold and down pipe is Ktec, turbo is a Garrett gt2860rs
@@Steffrallye thank you much appreciated- I hear some people fit megane crank rods and pistons into the clio block which allows around 260bhp for less £££?
@@benbirch2393 yes, the megane rods and pistons fit, and using the thicker head gasket they can be mapped to around 260 more safely but still a megane engine isn't the strongest. Also I've using the megane crankpulley with woodlock key which is definitely recommended when adding power
@@Steffrallye ah, I'd rather stick with the standard compression for response... so is it just the rods and pistons out of the megane that people use, not the crank etc? If a 230bhp car can become a 250bhp car on the cheap and retain standard compression that may be worthwhile
@@benbirch2393 yes they use the standard clio crank still. I've seen people just replace the headgaskey for the thickest megane headgasket on the standard clio engine to lower compression too with good results but of course the main parts are still weaker
NayonacTV that’s a awesome figure, don’t see many higher powered supercharged clios. The O2M box is something I’m going to be looking into at some point this year hopefully
What 332bhp? That's crazy! Double the original power nice 1 dude ❤
Xtiminator nearly yes! Thank you ☺️
And the curves are nice and smooth. It will be a pleasure to drive. Great work!
Janis Vaskevics Chris did a fantastic job of mapping it, she could do with a better more modern Ecu but still fantastic
Aaaaaaaaaawesome power and torque for that small car! A bit jealous but happy for you!

As someone who isn't really into Renault's, your 182 is awesome!
Ante Radić cheers lad! I’m not a massive Clio fan tbh but for a cheap fun track car it’s really hard to beat, and puts such a smile on your face
im usually not a really big fan of the phase 2/3 looks as i love the phase 1 just so much, but damn, your clio looks insanely good
Jagdtiger thank you! The Ph1 is much more aggressive looking, but yer the same this car has just grew on me
Your car is on fire bro🔥. Where did you order the front bumper spoiler?
Thank you, shes made another 11bhp since this video 😂 the splitter is one I made, its a copy of the CMcomposites one

can you do a full build recap on everything you've done to the 182 including cosmetics? i really love your clio looking for some ideas for my 182
