Great video, thank you! It seemed stable at speed. Is it tippy? My SCX10 3 CJ7 is super annoyingly tippy, and I would love to have a little trail truck that's more stable
That's one of the better jeep RC''s I have seen. Having owned a jeep irl, I can say they are one of the most capable off road vehicles made. Nice to see one that looks like it handles well and is capable. A little bit more weight down low and a tad wider, it would be just awesome! Great camera work as always!
Your commentary & delivery always make me chuckle sir! The videos are always epic in a Jurassic Park style. It's a little top heavy but could be more capable over the rocks with a few mods 👍
Dude...blacking out the shiny bits looks SO MUCH better. It looked so cheap out of the box. Speaking of patina, you could probably sand, dent and scratch the body, then run it in the Pacific pond and have instant patina!
This looks like something I need. The reason for the awful angry grille, is that the original 7 slotted Jeep grille is actually trademarked. All unlicensed Jeep shaped things will have a crappy grille or they will get a cease and desist letter.
I agree with you on the angry face Jeeps being way overdone the last couple of years. I do love this odd little critter, though. It makes no sense on a lot of things, but at the same time, it is loaded with bad ass features. I really like the metal body, but I can't give any reason why it is a good idea other than I could try a really cool patina paint job on it. Blacking out all that cheap looking silver crap made it look a hell of a lot better. Plastidip spray works really well for doing stuff like that! Great video, dude!
I agree, it's an odd duck for what it is and does. Getting some rust on the panels would really be cool. I've never used plastidip before, I'll have to give it a go 👍

5:51 Do you have any non lipo 3s cells you can try? Sometimes lipo has a bit too much punch for the esc and some 18650 lithium-ion battery could work at 3s. I know my mn82 will run lithium-ion 3s but a lipo popped my control board as soon as I tried. Thankfully they are cheap to replace. Give one a try, might work.
Anyone know if the wheel size is 1.9 inch? Very tempted if so as I have a couple of spare sets. I think Aaron's video is pushing me closer to buying one after I watched Tomley's take a month or so ago.
I do a massive hot fresh water flush for about 10mins, take off the wheels, hit every bearing point I can see with a silicone based spray lube and roll the car so it works it's self in. Then dry it with a hair dryer and rest it over the heat vent. I do try to avoid the salt water though, but it's always so tempting

what is the driveshaft size(more like axle input/gearbox output diameter)? is it 10th scale size or 16th? looks similar to wpl style driveshafts... If its 10th scale, it might be good chassis for some SWB 10th scale bodies...
I've never seen a decent crawler flip over so much. As top heavy as it is they should have named it the Dolly Pardon. It looks decent but didn't really seem good at anything else.

Are the beaches you drive on saltwater beaches? If so what do you do after the drive to help clean your rigs?

I looked 5mm but I'd have to take it apart to see. It's 10x the construction and materials of a WPL shaft though I can say that.
