Test Drive Eve of Destruction is simply put... an awesome game. Played this extensively when I was younger. Also, you can repair your cars at your home in career.
I loved this game, it was Wreckfest before Wreckfest. If you continue playing, one thing to remember is that cars marked with a D are really only good for Demolition Derby's. They suck at racing.
My favorite part of this game is how the map is based off my hometown area. Monster games is based out of Minnesota, so most of the track names from this game and D2D are named after cities around me
You should make a series out of this! Also you can own more than one car. Up to 4 and can switch from race to race in the eves. Recommend doing one speed and durability car for each for crashing and speed.
Man what a great game from the past. When I had it I start the career off with the starter car go to the dinner to make money. Then do the 1st Eve after that buy my 1st car!
Can we get a series of this please? Also, MGI had the Minnesota locations in, IIRC the original Viper Racing as well way way back when, then this and D2D
@@dgoodin24 oh I see. Because there is a distinct difference in sensitivity between OG PlayStation 2 And PCSX that I’ve noticed and it kind of makes it hard to play

I played this game all the time as a kid! One of my favorite PS2 games

That is awesome! Jealous of that connection to the game
i'd love to see more of this on the channel!

Can we please get a series!?! This game was my childhood and it’s so sad that it has become so rare
wow. A true diamond in the rough game. This is amazing lol
The first car you bought in game looks like a amc pacer tbh
This is awesome. I may have to get this!
Awesome video. in my opinion i feel like wreckfest took SOME HEAVVVVY inspiration from this game this is an awesome derby game for its time
Wow more destruction I love it
I love this game! The Xbox version is better and backwards compatible with the 360 giving you better graphics.
Is there anyway to change to the triggers so you don’t have to use the right stick for more precise, gas and brake?
I have no idea, I never looked
PS2 didn't have analog triggers, the OG Xbox did though and this game has a Xbox version
@@jimmymyers ah
Need to do multiplayer you will like the chicken fight
Hey Dylan, I was wondering what settings do you use for PCSX2 in terms of the controller to make it less sensitive?
Honestly I haven’t messed with it at all
@@dgoodin24 oh I see. Because there is a distinct difference in sensitivity between OG PlayStation 2 And PCSX that I’ve noticed and it kind of makes it hard to play
If you mean the buttons the PS2 controller has pressure sensitive buttons while modern controllers are digital
@@jimmymyers really? I thought they weren’t
Dang I mean no disrespect but you are not good at this game
I’ve never played it before lol
