Unfortunately, that family was more powerful financially and could afford the best team of lawyers and most probably she couldn’t fight on court on the same level. She did a terrible mistake by renouncing to her acting career, losing her financial independence which probably she did to please her husband and in laws, but in the end worked against her.

Even worse is when it’s proven false no one cares.As for the drama Time I just finished watching it.His character was a cold unfeeling type and the entire storyline was one tragic happening after another.It never was a touchy feely kind of drama. The fact that he died was just tragic .I thought The Light Has Left Your Eyes had a heartbreaking ending and this was just as bad.Being in a toxic relationship is mentally challenging and I hope he can live a better life now.

Added to that, her family was already very wealthy. Also, he was living in Koo Hye Sun's property before he moved out and rented a house. Koo Hye Sun took what belonged to her. It is not like she was a gold digger and took everything from him after a divorce. As for pets, even before marriage, she used to have 10 pets. She had a separate room for each pet, which was shown by a Korean TV before her marriage. People were shocked to find out how big her house was and the number of pets she had.

I was actually rooting for Koo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun love story before. I even watched their reality show where they showed their lives as newly weds. But even on that show, I noticed that Ahn Jae (the guy) really loves Koo. He was so caring and pays attention to her every need. Koo is somewhat cold and I think she loves her pets more than her husband 😬
What is seen on tv is not same in real life. Narcissists are manipulative. They are charming and sweet in public and can gaslight people and partner (spouse). Koo said that in front of camera he is sweet but behind it he is cold. I would not wonder why she can’t pretend she’s fine.

He appears by all accounts to be a gentle, non-combattive person and the harpy used it t extrt money and propery she wasn't even entitled to - home he bought before marriage ad funds just so she'd go away ... changing/increasing demands constamtly. She's batshit crazy. Period. Let's not forget that n the process she slandered her co-stars, turned production into a nightmare and IMHO contributed to Cha In Ha's suicide. Poor kids boy was friendly with AJH but because of the divorce hell AJH declined invites to linger on the set and often declined to stay around to talk when CIH asked for company. Honestly, being an actor/actress in South Korea is super sad. People are too toxic and judgemental. They're not perfect and the forced castration is so medieval. They aren't allowed to be human. So sad. I blame the overzealous fans.
These actors and actresses should try not to be carried away when filming movies. It is not unusual to become close but should never be misunderstood as real feelings that will last forever.
Once they marry, huge sacrifices have to be made. They need to just finish the filming the movie and move on with their lives. Constantly being in the public eye can destroy any relationship. One wrong move, look etc and the media will make a mincemeat of the relationship.

Maybe you're not aware of such terms but you do know about emotional blackmail right, there are hundreds of cases in which a person gaslights, manipulates their partner.
