The 1000d cordura is insane. 500 will already live forever. My motorcycle pants only has 1000 on the knees and hips and the 500-800d areas are fine fine after years of use. Also hip pack? In this video, it's a fanny pack man :D Just gives me the chills even the thought wearing something there :D
not YET. I initially didn't dive in but ended up picking one up from Huckberry...should arrive this week. Putting it against the other larger slings from a few weeks ago and the DEFY Insidious Jr.
You're certainly entitled to your opinion but in all my interactions with Tim I can say that I truly appreciate his passion for GoodWerks and the products he builds. In the end, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. It helps others find these videos
Come on man! It's just a fanny pack. Easily the most overrated and over valued EDC piece in the game. Don't let those carryology nerds dictate the market.
@@JBOutside1 well you'll have to correct me if I'm wrong, but your first Goodwerks video was in 2022 and you joined Carryology in 2021, so I think its reasonable to associate your hype on the boogie bags with the carrology community making these out to be grails. No shade thrown at you, you know your gear, but the boogie bag isn't anything close to the top standard in the edc game. That's my contribution to the conversation.
@@kaymatthew6812 I was genuinely curious on the dates you provided as that’s not how I remember my interest in the boogie bag originating. I know exactly how it started and it has nothing to do with Facebook or any group. That said, I offer the following dates to clarify any conspiracy timelines: Subscribed to GOODWERKS Newsletter Sep 3, 2021 First GOODWERKS order Nov 19, 2021 Joined Carryology Nov 24, 2021 First Review Video Dec 10, 2021
@@JBOutside1 I think our dates match, unless you're gonna penalize me on those 20 days in December. I'm sure you have your fingers in all the edc companies out there as it's in your craft, but the good werks company was never a player in the game until he started making 100 bags every 3 months and the carryolgy crew turned it into some forbidden rare fruit that was hard to get. You can't tell me those fanny packs are better than Alpaka or Bellroy but I guess if you throw a $200 price tag on them and make them impossible to get then they suddenly become the cream of the crop? Not buying it.
@@kaymatthew6812I agree with you. Alpaka slingbags has probably one of the best organizations I’ve ever seen. Especially their Tech Cases, which transforms into a sling by attaching any strap you want (one comes included). They come in XPac and Ecopak to those who carries them as slings.. :)
Always appreciate long term reviews to see how things actually last
thanks! These are so well made they're holding up amazingly

Also hip pack?

Totally agree. In backpacks and hip packs these materials are gonna live forever
Really nice review! Also very cool patches too! Where are they from?
Etsy and Suburban HK
thanks JB
Nice review!
Thank you! Cheers!
Some people don’t get it, and that’s okay. Love your videos! I just got a my first MRK3 and I’m super happy with it!
Good to hear! 👊🏻
Love your reviews but boogie is way overpriced, overvalued and overrated, there are too many other better options out there. Nice travelogue in NOLA.
Fair enough! I appreciate your opinion for sure! Such a nice day in NOLA!
No Chimera sling ?
not YET. I initially didn't dive in but ended up picking one up from Huckberry...should arrive this week. Putting it against the other larger slings from a few weeks ago and the DEFY Insidious Jr.
Mine finally hit the doorstep this morning, waiting on me to get home
those things are never in stock
Yes it’s a challenge for sure.
Tim sucks. Sold my booger bag for $250

I enjoy the Boogie Bag personally and my knowledge of GoodWerks pre-dates my awareness of “Carryology”. But thanks for watching
