    This is the best honest and most in-depth review I've seen. I needed this video! Thanks for showing the menus, the kids areas, the food places, the beach, and especially the show. I couldn't find much about the entertainment. I'm looking for a smaller scale resort but geared towards families and this looks like what I want. You know what I especially noticed? No huge lines for food or drinks. Huge plus in a smaller resort.I'm looking at booking in September.

      @@iqragulzar828 Hi! Sorry for the delay. When you book your trip direct through Wyndham Alltra, they give you the option to add transportation. We added whatever transportation was offered and it worked out perfectly. It wasn't clear during the booking process that the transportation includes BOTH when you arrive and when you depart - can't beat the price knowing that. I can't find the actual company that provided the travel, but when going through the booking process with the hotel we added "Package Name: Round Trip Private Standard Airport Transfer"

    • @perfectpals
      @perfectpals  10 месяцев назад

      Hi! Technically it's a "tip free" resort but we tipped like we would typically tip here in the USA. I believe that I brought $300 cash and divvied that out over the 5-6 days we were there. Plus we also tipped the kids camp attendants a hunk of cash at the end of our trip.

    • @perfectpals
      @perfectpals  Год назад +1

      I don't think that you'll regret it if you book here! It was pretty perfect for our family - Camp Alltra was amazing for the kids and also so you can get a break, and I know they have those rooms with 3 beds for kids which would be perfect for your family. I *think* that only the Ventana's buffet was open all day, the downstairs one (right underneath Ventanas) was only open for breakfast and dinner (when it became the Asian place.) I hope that you and your family have a blast!

    Where was the Ventana restaurant? Is this walking distance from your hotel or on the strip somewhere. Also the Salsa taco on beach place

    • @perfectpals
      @perfectpals  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! To access Ventana, when you walk into the resort pass through the lobby / check in area. Before you were to head outside to the pool area, take a right, past the Mexican restaurant (Casa De Rosa) and follow that hall and you'll walk right into Ventanas. To access the salsa beach taco place, if you visit the beach bar at the hotel, walk past it and the little taco place will be on your left. Hope this helps!

    • @perfectpals
      @perfectpals  Год назад +1

      Thank you! And awesome, I hope that you have a GREAT time! They do not take reservations. To get into the Italian place, your best bet is to get there 10 - 15 minutes before it opens to get in if you want to eat right at 5pm or whenever it opens. I went there like 10 minutes after it opened at 5pm, and the next available time to eat there would've been 7:30pm at night, so at least when we were there, it was the most difficult to get into. The other places didn't have a wait when we went to eat. But the busyness of each restaurant probably depends night by night. Have a blast when you're there!

    • @perfectpals
      @perfectpals  Год назад

      We did avoid the H2O as a precaution. I had my Dr. prescribe something in case we ended up sick from the H20 but none of us got sick. We used bottled H20 to brush our teeth and never put the tap water into our mouths. However, we did use ice in our drinks and had no issues. I did order a Coke once and it tasted different and my tummy felt rumbly after, so I decided to avoid it - the Coca Cola came from the tap not a can so was probably mixed with their H20.

    silly question....does all inclusive meaning all meals and drinks included in the resort?

    • @perfectpals

      There’s no such thing as a silly question! Yes all inclusive means that all food and drinks - including alcohol (name brand) is included - you don’t need to pay anything more. We brought cash so I could tip but the hotel states that you don’t have to tip because it’s “included” but the staff works really hard to make for a great experience

    Solo traveler here. Would you if you had choices stay here if you were a solo traveler?

    • @perfectpals
      @perfectpals  Год назад

      It probably depends on what you're looking for as a solo traveler. If you're OK with having families / kids around (not like an overload, but a normal amount that you'd expect at a hotel or resort with families vacationing) then yes, it was a great experience. It quiets down later in the evening from what I understand, but we only stayed up until 9 or 10pm any given night, so couldn't really tell you what the nightlife is like anyway. Apparently the pool and ocean area are still popular places to hang at night, so I heard. So this isn't like a "party vibe" hotel but you can find that outside of the hotel at clubs and what not. I hope that helps?

      @@perfectpals let me think we ate breakfast at azul which was okay. The steak house was passed the large bar then outside to the left overlooking the zonal hotel street. We did love the empanadas there but the steak was hard.
      We liked the ice cream and the slushy machine which offered watermelon slushy. We loved the ocean view room but I paid $160 a day more each day but definitely worth it , which included the VIP LOUNGE, black wristband. The vip lounge had sushi and a bar, pool table but no view.
      Worst day was when the two cops robbed us of 200 saying my son didn’t have his seatbelt on correctly. Funny, it’s ok to stand in the back of an open truck but we get fined. I get the corruption but it sucks when it happens to you.
      I probably won’t return because it’s just too freaking humid and hot and the police thug incident. I’ve rented a car before and never had an issue but tulum area is worse. Finally my son enjoyed the coffee shop. He thought it was cool because all you had to do was ask. Sorry, lastly at the steak restaurant the hostess to us an hour and 40 minute wait because we didn’t have reservations, so I snuck her 20 bucks and volla we were seated in 5 minutes, no kidding..what’s the name of the steak place? We didn’t eat at the Italian restaurant or the fish restaurant.

It is getting dangerous so stay within the hotel zone. We’re going to return to Hawaii even though it’s very expensive I don’t have to worry about extortion.
      Be safe and never travel alone in Mexico and be careful of the taxi drivers. Growing up my parents had a beach house in cantamar Mexico 🇲🇽; around 40 minutes south of Tijuana on the beach so we would go often. I was always hearing about corrupt cops , my dad told to pay taxes for taking appliances over the border but now it worse with the kidnappings
