Me and my husband are wanting to take a family vacation to Cancun this year and this video just sold us on this resort. Loved this video, very detailed!!
Great review, I have stayed here 5-6 times and it is always a great time. I love that you can catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres right there 5 min walk from the hotel.
Thank you - yes next time we need to actually catch the boat and check out Isla Mujeres! We didn't stay long enough to want to cut out from time at the resort.
We are going in April and I’m excited! I love that you can see the sunrise! Beautiful and something I love! I was wondering about any wildlife? What did you see for animals on the resort?
We didn't see much wildlife aside from the usual birds and one stray dog was hanging around. But there were some fish (when the water was clear, on calm weather days) that were really really cool and tropical. I couldn't tell you what those were though, but go explore the pier and you might see something cool!
Hi there! When you book at this resort, you have the option to book all inclusive, or just the hotel / resort (food / alcohol not included.) So those prices are for people who did NOT purchase all inclusive at the hotel, or probably also for the people visiting the hotel from next door (Garza Blanca) who want to eat at this hotel. Hope that makes sense!
Hi thank you for the video we’re going on July and this is we’re going to stay This is our 3rd time in Cancun and this is our first time in this hotel. So for the restaurant do we have to make reservations for lunch or dinner?
DEFINITELY make reservations online (via the hotel website) for dinner, often times reservations are full if you try to make them closer to your arrival date. You can surpass the room number by putting TBD (I think) in there to put your reservation in. Lunch reservations are not an option.
Thanks for the upload, Perfect Pals. I enjoyed your video. I have a question please. You did say that it was somewhat chilly. Is it not supposed to be Caribbean hot in Cancun? What month of the year did you take your vacation? Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching, glad that you found it enjoyable and informative! I think the only reason why it was a little chilly when we were there is when it was overcast and about to rain. Once the rain passed and the sun was out the weather was ideal / perfect. I think we went in February, probably 3 - 4 weeks before this video was posted.
Hi, great video! Can i ask if there actually floating aqua park? I dont see anyone reviewing it, but its listed on their site as one of activities. Have you seen one? Thank you
Of course you can! So yes, it is there, it is in front of the Garza Blanca. I meant to get a video of it. But you can easily walk over there and use it - my husband and kids did for a while and had a blast. The floating aqua park is really just like a giant blow up bouncy thing in the middle of the ocean. Must wear a life jacket while on there, which you can grab from the stand on the beach in front of it (free.)
You are so welcome! I don't think you'll regret booking there. It would be a million percent worth it to do all inclusive, if you paid for food and alcohol on consumption it would be EXTREMELY expensive. All inclusive is the way to go.
Hi! I strongly recommend opting for the all-inclusive package. If you don’t, you’ll likely end up spending significantly more, as the costs for non-all-inclusive options can be quite high. All-inclusive really is the best way to go!
Hi Suzanne, no I didn't see any programming for teens unfortunately. If you go to the end of the video (probably the last 2 minutes or so) I posted the activities schedule as an image, feel free to pause on that to check out what was offered. Hope it's helpful!
Not going to lie, I have no idea. We had relatively early bedtimes because of the kids, I think there was a sign that said that they eventually close though. Recommend contacting the resort for clarification on this. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful with this.
Yes, it was definitely a nice beach, the water was more calm than it is in the hot hotel zone. Less waves. We were there on some days where there was some wind and rain, on those days the ocean was more murky, looking but on the calm weather days, the ocean was clear and aqua blue. You could see right to the bottom if you walked to the edge of the pier in the video. So yes, beautiful beach.
Hi. Looks like a great trip. In the spa, was the water therapy part of the all inclusive package? I figure the messages and so forth are for a fee, but curious if the hot tub and cold plunges were free? Thank you
Hi! If you book a service at the spa (for an additional fee) you are welcome to use any of the spa facilities, including the hot tup and cold plunges for free!
Yes, every restaurant featured in the video (and posted to the resort website) are included in the all inclusive! Just be sure to make your reservations weeks in advance as they fill up.
To answer the 2nd question first, yes I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place. It was clean, aesthetically beautiful, great food, service, was quiet (not a party atmosphere) etc. However Wyndham Alltra (while still targeted for families) had a little more "action" / fun throughout the day via entertainment at the pool, and definitely had more evening entertainment. Wyndham Alltra had entertainment every night, including a live band to accompany their stage shows which is impressive. Quite frankly, my family would go to dinner then bed most nights and didn't stay up late, but several weekday nights, Villa Del Palmar did not have any evening entertainment aside from the artisan vendors selling items. So depending on what you're looking for, both are great choices. I personally preferred Villa Del Palmar based on the fact that it is a newer resort, therefore a bit nicer, the heated pools, several hot tubs, and a big one - the amazing food. Like truly - didn't expect the food to be as good as it was.
There is a kids club at the resort that is free / included in the all inclusive stay. So there are activities there for the kids. But aside from the pool and occasional evening entertainment (not every night) that is all for kids.
¡Hola! Depende de la época del año en la que visites el hotel. Los precios cambian, por lo que lo mejor es contactar con el hotel y preguntar precios para cuando quieras visitar.
Without a doubt, Villa Del Palma’s. Food was a step above, pools and facilities were pristine and newer. But if you go for night life and entertainment, this is not your place.

Thank you so much, I hope that you have a wonderful time! It really was a great resort.

Great job reviewing the resort, Thanks!!
Thanks for watching!
Very great information. Thanks for sharing.
Great video we are going for our second visit in a couple of days, hour was the seaweed on the beach
Thank you for watching! Seaweed on the beach was nonexistent (I saw them cleaning it one morning.)

@@perfectpals we go in 18 days and ur video got the whole family so excited ty
Hi, I liked your video. One question: Why are there prices 22:58 when it's supposed to be all-inclusive?

@perfectpals awesome, thank you so much for replying, the kids going to have blast then!❤️
Hello when you get all inclusive did all this restaurant will be free or charged
Thank you for this great video. You have convinced me to book this resort. My question is would the all inclusive worth it for 4 adults for 2 nights?
You are so welcome! I don't think you'll regret booking there. It would be a million percent worth it to do all inclusive, if you paid for food and alcohol on consumption it would be EXTREMELY expensive. All inclusive is the way to go.
17:49 you state you don’t recommend all inclusive. Is that still how you feel? We are going to this resort in a week just curious.

Thank you for the video. Did they have any evening activities for teenagers? 16- 17 year olds?
Hi Suzanne, no I didn't see any programming for teens unfortunately. If you go to the end of the video (probably the last 2 minutes or so) I posted the activities schedule as an image, feel free to pause on that to check out what was offered. Hope it's helpful!
Thank you for this review we are planning on going with our 2year old! We just want sun, beach, quiet and good food. Was room service included!?
You're so welcome - you'll experience EXACTLY THAT! I believe that room service was included, but we never used it!
Resort looks nice. I've only been to Iberostar properties. Do you know how they compare?
Unfortunately I've never been to an Iberostar property - sorry I cannot be of help!
How late can you use the pools? Since there is no nightly entertainment, do you know how late the bars are open?
Not going to lie, I have no idea. We had relatively early bedtimes because of the kids, I think there was a sign that said that they eventually close though. Recommend contacting the resort for clarification on this. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful with this.
would you say it was a nice beach? clear water/calm or rough water ? I'm looking to go in May!!
Yes, it was definitely a nice beach, the water was more calm than it is in the hot hotel zone. Less waves. We were there on some days where there was some wind and rain, on those days the ocean was more murky, looking but on the calm weather days, the ocean was clear and aqua blue. were the restuarants included in the all inclusive or just the buffet?
Yes, every restaurant featured in the video (and posted to the resort website) are included in the all inclusive! Just be sure to make your reservations weeks in advance as they fill up.
What time of year did you go? I’m thinking of going in November?
I believe that we went in January if not early February! (Probably 3-4 weeks before I posted this video if I had to guess)
how was this place compared to wyndham altra? which would you recommend for families?

No there are no water slides.
❤ there’s things kids can do it ? How about the shows at night ?

wow beach
Hello dear,
Are all the restaurants part of all the inclusive package?
Hello! Yes, all the restaurants shown in the video are included in the all inclusive package! Worth it!
If you dont mind could you please share the rate with and without all inclusive
Hola , cuánto cuesta hospedarse en éste hotel ?
¡Hola! Depende de la época del año en la que visites el hotel. Los precios cambian, por lo que lo mejor es contactar con el hotel y preguntar precios para cuando quieras visitar.
How long ago did you visit?
We were there the week of February 5, 2024!
Where was the magic show
It was outside of the Garza Blanca, next door to Villa Del Palmar
Wyndham vs this, your verdict ?
Without a doubt, Villa Del Palma’s. Food was a step above, pools and facilities were pristine and newer. But if you go for night life and entertainment, this is not your place.
Oooooh❤❤
god i miss being drunk at the bar on the beach
Is the food and beverages included?
If you do an all inclusive package, then yes, all food and beverage including alcohol is paid for through your all inclusive package.
Did the Resort provide airport travel?
Yes but you need to pay extra for it. Round trip was $100 + tip.
