Govee DreamView vs Philips Hue Sync Box, which one would you buy? Which TV Backlight is better for you, one is $69.99 and other one is over $580. 🤔
I got mine half a year ago for 75€. I wouldnt watch TV without it! Its so nice when you have for example an HDR picture and the movie gets bright and the whole wall lights up in that colour. It amps up the HDR effect. Its just amazing.
Whats also a very big point most people forget is that your eyes fatigue not as fast when watching in a dark room because you don't have that strong lit and dark contrast between wall and tv anymore.

They updated the govee app for this TV light and now u can use it as a sync center and connect other govee lights to it. The connected govee lights will then replicate the colours on the screen just like the immersion kit. U can choose the exact position of the connected lights in correspondence to the screen aswell. I have this whole set-up in my living room and it is incredible, especially for the price point!👍

Mine always seem to have a dull white light on when it goes dark of have colour so colours aren't as bright plz HELP anyway to turn them whites off

Just got mine for my LG C1. How did you get the camera to stay at the top of the TV?? I am having trouble keeping it straight up there.

You can setup with google assistant to automate it.

HI can you tell me the lengths of the 4 individual LED sections for this size kit? I know the total length is 5m/16.4 feet. The I can only find the individual lengths for the smaller 55-65 inch kit. It should be printed on the side of box I think. Cheers!

Thanks Max , nice to see you in comments buddy. No it can only be powered using the adapter provided. USB is for the Camera.

The camera hanging off the tv...Philips hue is worth the money to not have that.

Do yall think its better to just do the tv lights/strips or sync the whole room? like lamps behind me. Trying to imagine which would be more immersive and wasnt sure if that would get too distracting
Just do the tv. It's brought enough. Trust me
I need to know how you set up/calibrated it. My two bottom sections don't flow like they should in video mode. They act as only one single color at a time for those sections, very annoying

What settings do you have for the brightness , saturation and white balance ? Having a few issues trying to calibrate the optimal settings.
For me I have TV on warm temp. So I have govee set to full brightness and almost 10% Saturation

I'll be honest. I tried this and it's about 10% of the value of the hue.. I picked up the hue. You get what you pay for. Hue with the strip is the way to go. Much easier setup and everything.. for a budget there is even better than this without the hassle of tap and everything.
Which alternative products do you think match up with this?
@@l.j.9031 the neo I liked.. it's more money but covers bigger tvs, but it's still less than half of the hue. No camera either. I'd personally look for used sync box and hub and buy the hue. That's my opinion.. hue reacts the best and is super bright..

@@foadem no. It has to come from an external hdmi source... So like apps on a smart TV won't work with hue

I know. But it gets better in few days. At first I was like it is weird. You can also use it at the bottom.

@@TheGodfather1022 I like S95B for its brightness , full screen brightness is just better on S95B, but accuracy and light controlled environment G1 is sweet. I kinda like both TVs. Both are premium. I will recommend S95B for bright rooms with sunlight.

I'd say... This review lacks some technicality... For example yoi didn't mention the issue of the camera not detecting colours correctly during the day (the variation of sunlight messes with the camera). Also it is too easy to show only colourful content. What about a comedy that has not so bright colours? The effects are still underwhelming in that regards
How many inches your installation tv?
Mine is 77" TV. It can be installed on 75" to 85" TV with this strip. There are also lower sizes TV strips available

I have a 50 inch TV, would I be able to cut some bits off like a traditional LED strip?
Can't cut anything, unless you wanna go threw hassle of wiring it all over manual

Im sorry but dont believe this video / review . I have both the hue and govee kits by FAR the hue is miles better. Im guessing in the video its no setup right or its intentionally showing footage thats not hue but something isnt right.
