This is super awesome thanks for posting. I never got to see the F50 GT1 back in the day. As you know I just happened to dig up my old Carmack F50, F50, and 1000hp TR videos and I posted them up too.

amorag59 there are only 3 F50 GT's in the world. The F50 GT 001 has 950 HP. The other 2 have around 750 HP. They weigh around 900 kg. The FXX has 800 HP, the FXX Evo has 850 HP. Both weigh around 1150 kg. The reason why the F50 GT is faster is simple: it was intended to be a race car, plus it develops far more downforce. The FXX is a road car modified for track use.
Max Power actually it's way faster. The Ferrari FXX's best lap on the Fiorano circuit (Ferrari's private circuit) is 1:16. The F50 GT did it in the 1:10 range, and that was a regular F50 GT, meaning it only had 750 HP. Imagine what kind of lap times the F50 Gt1 could pull.

it’s called an F50 GT1 cause it was meant for GT1 class racing which is a field of road-spec cars built purposely for track racing
