I’ve had this set about 5yrs. Dissected it added a gci mug I got from a outdoors store, unco plastic spoon/spork combo & a stainless nesting cup. Great piece of kit just a bit heavy.
I put a small butane canister upside down inside with a small stove on top of it along with an adapter so it will also use 1 lb. propane bottles. I replaced the plastic tab on top with a Keychain ring.

Agree on the weight. It is amazing how much stuff you can store inside of it to make the most use of your space.

Used mine today had chili mac Mountain House. Cups holds the heat, keeps your food warm.
