Just the title of this is so empowering. I love my invigorating dark potential. I’m a loving person and I have struggled with depression from suppressing my dark potential.
I like what Robert said about power not necessarily being evil or a bad thing. It's all about how it's used. And in order to bring about those bigger changes, what he said about playing on the same grounds as your opponents is very true indeed. Thank you Robert and Jay! Wishing everyone much peace, love and good health

Jay & Robert, this has been one of the best podcast episodes I've EVER listened/watched. That's not a light statement since I've consumed a lot of podcast episodes. The quality of the people, the in-depth conversation and the essential topics that were covered as well as the mutual respect both have for each other makes this honestly a world-class conversation that's essential listening for everyone. Beautiful conversation all throughout. Let a thousand flowers bloom. Thank you both!

Just wow, load of wisdom loaded in this podcast, it needs many watches before it gets absorbed , thank u Jay for introducing us to robert love from india🇮🇳🇮🇳
Very, very good episode! What a beautiful human being this author is. The part about mortality was brilliant, in today’s world death is something unseen/ unreal. We should honour and focus on the aspect of mortality more. It’s good to think about how we miss people who have passed away, not just forget them as we do with each Instagram post we scroll through .

This man is a Genius I have just discovered Robert Greene and I’m 58….I’ve read his first book and I’m on to his second book omg I cannot put the book down it’s so good. Love him ❤❤❤❤
Robert Greene personifies the word "eclectic." Such an incredibly varied work history. And just a fascinating and hugely charismatic person, I could listen to him speak for hours
This podcast is truely an eye opener .I love the intensity and passion Robert Green is expressing his views .Description about power hungry people are harsh but true.
I love that example of Ghabdi and MLK.. Robert Greene is way ahead of his time. May till he is gone and generations later, people will fully grasp and appreciate his works
Robert Greene is a gem. After reading all this books, it boost my self esteem & people noticed. Also, stood up to work bullying in toxic workplace & quit my job. Found a better one that allows me to use my skills & grow
1:03:47 I had a boss like this for 10 years, i quit 8 months ago. I’m still unemployed but my health has significantly improved!!!! I don’t regret it. Thanks for this video. It made me cry lol
A remarkable life and mindset. No wonder he has become so wise. We are all so lucky for having him make it easier for all of us through the books he wrote. That story about the shirt shall stick with me for a while. I wish Robert Greene all the best in health and life.
I love how Robert Green doesn’t talk like a self-help person. He talks like a human being. So many of us in self-help are using catchphrases and slogans and rhymes. It’s refreshing.
One of the reasons why people think "crush your enemy totally" law is evil is because they only see enemy in human form. Eg. Make laziness, poverty, etc your enemy then that law will have a different meaning.
I would really love to consider that interpretation. However, if that is the real meaning of that law, why the example of applying the law that comes with it is a revenge story that refers to a person?
@@regaininglife9084 If you believe in crushing others and feel entitled to being greedy and evil, this book is perfect for you, go for it. That is a psychopathic point of view, just FYI, but be my guest. But don't justify yourself by saying "most people are like this too", because they are not. And even if they were, that wouldn't mean you had to act in the same way. Revenge (and every one of your actions) is a choice and describes you, not anybody else.
@@regaininglife9084 Nobody has control or power over me, I don't need to control others to keep control over my own life. Check it out, make a test, educate yourself about psychopathy, you may find an explanation to a lot of your emotions and lack thereof.
I’m a fan of Robert Greene, He see human as they are. Not sugar coated and see the desire we have not as something dirty or embarrassing. I think you have to be really honest with yourself and acknowledge your true desire. Working towards them is what lead you to fulfilling life. His book could help us notice if we are being manipulated or used and also giving us the theory to do so. It depends on how you will use it. You could use the knowledge for something good and as he said most nastiest people actually don’t need his book about manipulation. They learn it naturally. Also good job to Jay. This is actually his first podcast I ever watched and I’m impressed at the quality of his questions. I think it’s one of the best podcast of Robert Greene I ever watched.
The conversation was balanced between you two and Shetty's questions made Greene's book all the more interesting and understood. Thank you for a great interview.
I was actually just recommended his book 48 laws of power. I looked it up as an audio format and checked the reviews and was so confused with the drastic contrast in the various negative and positive reviews because the person who suggested it to me is a very worldly minded person. Then one day later (today) a completely different person sends me this link, and suddenly i have full context of the mind behind the book! Robert Greene is very underrated. 48 Laws of Power is an iconic masterpiece. I don’t necessarily agree with all of them but it’s a book I would read more than once.

I went to Amazon and bought his books. Thank you..these are the topics I am interested in, because I had been naive about true human nature (power politics) for a very long time...and had been scape goat on many occasions...now, all I am focused on is studying human psyche. Thank you 🙏
I never heard someone so intelligent as Robert. I have The 48 Laws of Power book but never read it yet! After hearing this video I'm gonna read it as well as Think Like a Monk which I also have. 1. Robert Greene is a genius 2. Whatever he talks about seems like he transitioned from the material to spiritual 3. Ths things he pointed out exist in the social fabric of eastern life esp in India. Life is very visceral and inescapable and also feels exciting for the same reason.

Great subject. Every action we take is a power play. Every word we speak is too. We catagorize people in our minds as them having power over us or us having the power. The trick is to surround yourself with those people whom you feel equal to.
Going to read and order some of Robert’s books. Can listen to him talk forever!
Listening to robert ...tears comes from deep within can't figure out why... I become happy excited and teary.....Thank u Guyz
Ultimately he is darker than I thought ❤❤❤
I went to Amazon and bought his books. Thank you..these are the topics I am interested in, because I had been naive about true human nature (power politics) for a very long time...and had been scape goat on many occasions...now, all I am focused on is studying human psyche.
Thank you 🙏
I love his book, it changed my perspective about power. Thank you Sir. Robert Green for sharing your knowledge to everyone.🙂🤩🤩🤩

This was very powerful for me. I appreciate the messages you put out and the people you bring on. It’s crazy how some of your messages directly relate to my life right now and I’m so grateful. Thank you jay
1. Robert Greene is a genius
2. Whatever he talks about seems like he transitioned from the material to spiritual
3. Ths things he pointed out exist in the social fabric of eastern life esp in India. Life is very visceral and inescapable and also feels exciting for the same reason.
Mr. Greene is very intense. Thank you for this message.
Blessed 😇
Love and gratitude to Robert Greene and Jay Shetty, both Idols of mine! I am currently reading 48 laws of power and the Art of Seduction and it changed my perspective completely. "Those who love peace must learn to organize as effectively as those who love war." from ML. King as Jay mentioned it brings it so perfectly on point and I'm definetely gonna use that phrase to impress some girls lol. Love your podcast!
