Chapter 5 Synopsis:
In episode 5 of RTB4 stories begin to converge.
Hector, the Santeria priest, responds with violence at an attempt at a discussion, and filmmaker Mike Pulcinella discovers even further the power of the camera as an instrument of defense.
Meanwhile, health issues begin to take a grave toll on Mike’s lifelong friend Joe Durney, from whom Mike had sought counsel during the rogue priest debacle, all while Mike continues to film a frustrated and increasingly withdrawn Kai Greene.
We also return to Hayley’s story: Mike intends to chronicle her first attempt at the Team Universe, but arriving at her hotel he is aghast to find that she is alone and mysteriously ill…with the Team Universe contest just moments away.
These and many other narratives weave together as we see the stresses of filmmaking and life intertwine, learning that sometimes in order to capture the story, you must become a part of it…

I think i have a bit of Dave Pulcinella outlook in me - He split from Hayley but still cares and gives advice. Just being there! Good spirit
Once again, amazing episode, Mike! Can't wait for the next chapter to drop.
Amazing segment! I was riveted to this one! Hayley is amazing. She is why I always say women can be beautiful and be bodybuilders as well. Sheesh.
wow I'm never one to comment on youtube but this video was great! your efforts to help her but still give us insight to the actual problem at hand was incredible! really felt like we were there with you. Awesome man!!
Thanks! Please share this series with anyone you think might be interested. It helps us a lot.
thanks Mike
Thank you for watching! Please share if you know of others who might like this series.
Awesome Episode
It would be beyond cool if you could get a hold of Kevin Levrone and see if you could do a documentary on his comeback. That would be a big seller for you and Kevin. You have enough notoriety that he would possibly let you do that. Kevin's a pretty, interesting, artistic and unique individual that you could make something way beyond a comeback video. Nothing ventured..Nothing Gained. Can't hurt to make a call..Hint..Hint! Love your Docs! You da man!
I love natural bodybuilding god bless

Is it possible to get the full unedited Kai Interview after this series is finished?
I have to think about it. Generally, if I've done my job, all the best parts are in the documentary and the unedited interview contains only repetition or unfinished thoughts.
Always great to see Mike's documentaries. Mike do you know if you have anynew bodybuilding documentaries for 2016-2017?
As of right now I have plans to release some interesting raw footage that was not used in RTB4. Other than that...we'll see!
+Mike Pulcinella please document Kevin Levrone's come back
+Mike Pulcinella please document Kevin Levrone's come back
What kind of coach doesn't know what those symptoms are? Yes, sodium, she needed some sodium. No she didn't need to just suck it up. I felt that way too, a little bit of something salty and you are good as new in minutes.
Most coaches have the benefit of knowing what their clients are taking. I did not.
@@nutrifit5was this a diuretic issue?
here's an idea for a doc, the protest in Standing Rock out in the Dakota's. Thousands of Native Americans rallied around the Sioux Nation to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline that would contaminate their drinking water. It's heating up out there
She is just stunning...gosh go girl..she made it to the stage.T
hat's be a true bodybuilder : never give up, always pushing
24:33 Jose taking advantage of the angles 🤣🤣 what's he been up to these days? He was always hilarious. Quick wit.
She was faking looking for Dave’s attention
This is just ridiculous "dude I can't get up" u either eat or go to the doctor how fuckin hard is that
It is really sickening to think anyone sacrifices cats, chickens or whatever to evil spirits! Disgusting!
Those eyes at 16:38 hahahhaaha
you are the god of this shit!
Why wasn't Dave at her show?
I hope you’re not going to hurt your hand while petting yourself on the back;)
It's PATTING. Patting yourself on the back.
If you are going to insult someone at least get it right.
I heard lasix (furosemide) does what Hailey was feeling ..
Her problem was not too much water under the skin, her problem was that she still needed to lose a couple percent of fat!
I love women with muscles
Jesus Haley with the phone on dave... why didn't she mention the diuretic!?
Mike, you outdid yourself with this one. This is my favorite 25 minutes of the raising the bar quadrology ever. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
Thanks. Don't stop watching...there's more intense stuff coming up in the next few episodes.
LOL@quadrology! I guess that's what it is!
Does Hayley Mcneff still compete? she's amazing
Westley Cathcart no. She quit the competitive scene. The dieting and conditioning was too much and just not worth it. Plus the bodybuilding industry is so jacked up. Frankly the idea of steroids just to keep up with the competition wasn't worth it. She still lifts and works out though.
lol...right, she never took steroids. I guess she is just a natural baritone, then? Don't get me wrong, I love muscle women and don't mind that they do roids...I just hate lies.
Always was a fan of Hayley. Great personality, awesome physique, and girlish looks. I'm glad she quit the competitive scene. The entire competitive bodybuilding industry is an absolute joke. It's so mafia-like. Hell, it makes professional wrestling seem more sane. So much bullshit, so much politics, so much shady shit, and pressure from the judges and sponsors to take illegal substances. Hayley wanted none of that bullshit and left young and beautiful while she still could.
Cortisol is a crazy hormone
Hector was mad
Dana lin baliey? 20:39
Oh yeah...wow I didn't even realize that she was in that shot. And I've watched that footage dozens of times!
yeah lasix natural.. lol
Enjoyed the main storyline, though the supportive story concerning yourself took away from the whole documentary feel, in my opinion.
Additionally, this show was not about the struggle your wife had with the Muslim world, it was the struggle in your own neighbourhood with a sect out of the Christian religion. Using still pictures depicting Islam was not neccessary to depict her struggle. Smacks of the "click bait" tactic of providing misinformation in order to hype the risks. How hard would it have been to find footage and material on your neighbour's religion? Islam has enough negative media portrayal, it doesn't need imagined scenarios to highlight the struggles, particularly when they have nothing to do with Islam.
Additionally, your niche seems to be in providing the story and narrative on the bodybuilding world, and you certainly excel at that. However, your whole story with your neighbour, plus the additional "pat on the backs" sections where you keep repeating positive feedback on your prior work, just smells of narcissism. Stick with your niche; making a documentary about others. Only a narcissist would document and present a documentary that involves themselves.
If the rest of this series is along the same lines ("look at me" rather than "understand them"), I'll be giving it a miss.
Your advantage is that the really great documentarians tend to focus on other issues (social, religious, political etc), rather than a sport full of hardworking, but steroid taking narcissists. Take some time to learn from real documentarians, or take courses. It'll benefit your community in the long run.
You make good points but there are many documentaries told from the viewpoint of the filmmaker. I don't see that as a liability. If it comes off as narcissistic...well, there's not much I can do about that if that's how people choose to see it.
Thanks
Just wondering why when you get on the religious topic you depict pictures of Muslims in your still pictures, when you are addressing Santeria? Santeria and Islam are two separate, different religions. Islam gets a lot of slander and bad press from mass media, and if your viewers end up associating it with the rogue Santeria this other man was practicing, it would not help the situation. Maybe you could do a future documentary on the struggle of Muslims and their persecution? Just a thought. salaam.
I don't mean to pick on any particular religious group. I am trying to make a point about religious freedom vs freedom FROM religion and nowhere is that more of an issue today than in the Muslim world, wouldn't you say?
You are correct in that it may add to the slander of Islam and for that I apologize. I probably wasn't thinking it through completely but I chose those pictures because they instantly symbolized the struggle between the religious and the secular that I am presenting better than any others I could find.
If I do a re-edit I will definitely include Christian extremists like the Westboro Baptist Church.
Mike
Isn’t taking a “strong diarrhetic” detected in drug tests as positive. I guess not all drug tests are created equal
Haha the flip phone! It's 2016 cmon now ;)
The date of these events is 2010
9:16 Sounds to me like she needed to smoke a little bud.
Ummm .....natural? Lol...OK. but she's cute as hell
20:31 “Are you willing to make the change?” 🤢 What change? Looking and sounding like a man?
