Great vid JW. Every Bronco is better than the last - thanks for refining and pushing forward. I would like to see more on the electrical - LEDs, door switches, sensors etc, and discussing any challenges you have with combining new tech with old design methods and how you hide it all! Great work
Jonathan, another great build. Love the vintage wheel covers. The pen in the cup holder is a nice added touch. It's great to see you support your workers and US suppliers. Even though I'm in Canada I love a business that support their country's industry.
Living in LA I stumbled across icon, and start checking out these videos,I really enjoy these builds, the subtle details, the work of aluminum, the test ride and detailing of how your builds are done. Great stuff! Keep them coming!!
So far my favorite BR series yet. I think (and I know it would be a pain in the ass) a follow along with a build. Possibly a couple of customer follow up interviews
Jonathan, If you wanted to get into more "specifics" someday I'd love to hear about the options that your customers get to choose as the put together a "BR build sheet".... I know you offer 'Restrained' vs. 'Rowdy' on the exhaust (and would love to hear more about which Borla products are used for each of those!!!) but I'm sure there are many other aspects of the build where customers can personalize their vehicle..... it must be an exciting part of the ICON build that only a select few ever get to experience. So maybe you can take us through an example of just how that kind of early customer-meeting goes, and what is offered? :)Great job as always, I love the vintage wheels and hubcaps on this one! :)
maybe could you try to mix the final review of the cars with the makin off, the idea+desing+fabricatión proces. thanks man for show up this lovely enginnering and passion work!
Jonathan: your work and these videos are always inspiring, thanks for taking the extra time to share your work. I don't find the videos redundant but would love to get a "deep dive" on any one of your fab/design efforts. In short, I'd love to see your process and approach taking something like the center console or external LED lights from idea to final install. I'd love to "geek out" along with you on all the details. Seeing and hearing about your process would be illuminating. Thx!
Would love to hear/see more about your aluminum body for the FJ range. I know there may be some proprietary things there you might not want to divulge, but it sure would be great to have a segment dedicated to that aspect of your vehicles as it is V E R Y special indeed.
Johnathon , Don't stop making your videos . I enjoy them and my goal is to purchase a bronco from you in the future , the videos let me see what is possible so that when I finally call to order one I will know what I want down to the color . so Thanks for posting. I want my next vehicle to be American made.
Jeeez Ford, get the Coyote crate motor emission certified in California... slackers. This is a gorgeous truck. I think the "restrained" exhaust sounds pretty much perfect. Amazing work Jonathon and Co. I know you can't beat the piss out of the trucks, but some performance benchmarks would be really cool. Just like 0-60, 0-60. I'd love to know. Also do a backflip in one 😑
In a future video can you explain the paint work that goes into the cars, I believe you said once that the cars were fully powder coated in the outside, underneath and in the engine bay.
I'd love to see your CAD department, I use Solidworks every day at my job but not for such exciting projects, it'd be interesting to see what a normal day at work is like for an ICON CAD guy.
hey jon, id like to see some More info on the drivetrain, especially from the gearbox to the diffs, oww and Will you ever make a g class ala icon? i just love those things
The videos are great, but would love to see more of the build and engineering for each type of product car you do. Very time consuming on your part though. On an unrelated note, have any of the ICON products been sold to UK customers ?
My favourite too. Although I wonder why slats in the roof rack are not carbon fiber as those would be super super easy to do. Also wondering why there are not led stripes incorporated into outer pieces of the rack, as the shape is so that it would not be stupid looking and very well away from any scratches...
In one of your videos, could you include actuation of the dash control knobs? Similar to a previous video in which you demonstrated the ARB air locker switches.
When y'all go to design the chassis do you have off the shelf 4 link parts in mind or is it all custom? Haven't seen it in the newer videos, but when you throw in a small tool kit have you thought about Wright? US made tools from US produced steel, and they are pretty.
Hello Mr. Ward, i am just wondering if you are still considering adding vintage passenger cars such as the BMW 2002 to your line up? That would very interesting.. I believe you stated this in a petrolicous interview. Anyways amazing work as always!!!
Hi Jonathan, as always good job. Who is Camilo Pardo? I like the new console and pen. The dash lamps, the aircraft sunvisors, the cargo anchors and the super Fox ajustable shocks. I dream to have my Icon FJ80. Congratulations!
You mentioned the map lights were a found item. Is there any good source for picking up just one or two of those units? Been looking for something nice for my Willys. Thanks! Great work on your vehicles, I aspire to drive one someday.
John I love all your builds and designs. Your attention to detail is insane! However can you PLEASE look at a better way of doing the ARB switches? The standard ARB sheet metal mounting bracket and ugly rocker switches look like a $2.99 boat switch. Please man you can do better :P
+Jonathan Ward Understood, and that's a bummer btw cause I like the old style emblems compared to the new ones you are using but oh well you gotta do what you gotta do.
I answered an ad in the S.F. Chronicle years ago. He would pay $100 if you steered him to one for sale. He bought one and sure enough. He mailed me a $100 bill. I think this is the same guy. He should try and hunt down Mrs Melmac. I sold her to a U-Haul guy in Simi valley in 2003? Factory 12,000 lb PTO winch It had the spline in the transfer case and gear shift in the cab for a rear winch with a slot in the rear bumper, 2 winches! One fore, one aft 1969 FJ 55 Green and white, 4 speed, disc power brakes. Ah,Velma! I should have never let you go. I sold it for......$500
What states say a 77 isn't exempt for emissions.?? In Canada we got a 15yo import law where vehicles can be imported modded, registered and then modded more after no issue. Californias the only place I can think of that'd be natzis for any classic
I wonder what you could do if you do the icon philosophy / treatment to the classic mini. Those were not very reliable to full of character like all your projects.
A CEO saying he cant afford his own product. Thats a man that puts business ahead of personal. Respect
Great vid JW. Every Bronco is better than the last - thanks for refining and pushing forward. I would like to see more on the electrical - LEDs, door switches, sensors etc, and discussing any challenges you have with combining new tech with old design methods and how you hide it all! Great work

I would like to see detailed build process video from beginning to end. I don't care how long it is.
The white and black retro wheel combo really does look great! Thanks for sharing!
Original looks, high performance and over the moon built quality. ICON rules.
So far my favorite BR series yet. I think (and I know it would be a pain in the ass) a follow along with a build. Possibly a couple of customer follow up interviews
Your a good man Mr. Ward. Don’t change a thing unless YOU want to.

Jonathan Ward will be the first person that I call, after I win the lottery.
Incredible business you've built. Such a unique product with top quality to boot!!! Always look forward to seeing what you and your crew put together.
Just one of the coolest American companies extant. You guys need to open a Phoenix area shop, so I can come to work for you.
Don't stop what you are doing. Keep the videos coming. So much TLC.
maybe could you try to mix the final review of the cars with the makin off, the idea+desing+fabricatión proces. thanks man for show up this lovely enginnering and passion work!
This wheel combination is so much better than the set on most of the others.
Jonathan: your work and these videos are always inspiring, thanks for taking the extra time to share your work. As always it was enjoyable to watch. You and your company doing amazing work. Every Time I see a icon bronco I want to get one for u guys to build.
excellent videos.dont change a thing. no fluff, no bull.
Thank you for keeping it American made and all your hard work.
That interior is beautiful! Not that every other part of the truck isn't. But damn that salt and pepper look really does it for me.
Love the seat inserts and floor mats, super cool.
incredible video, incredible machine, love the vehicle and watching what is being done over at ICON
Would love to hear/see more about your aluminum body for the FJ range. I know there may be some proprietary things there you might not want to divulge, but it sure would be great to have a segment dedicated to that aspect of your vehicles as it is V E R Y special indeed.
Im getting addicted to your videos !!!!
Love it. I'd really like to see how some of your components are designed and made
Great videos. Cool guy, and well spoken. I would love to meet him.
Johnathon , Don't stop making your videos . Could you explain in detail how your 4wd system works and how it improves on the original thanks!

Love your videos and the companies vision.
Amazing machines!! I love your videos, too short but very interesting!
Beautiful looking and so well reengineered, guys. :-)
hey jon, id like to see some More info on the drivetrain, especially from the gearbox to the diffs, oww and Will you ever make a g class ala icon? i just love those things
Another icon truck... Par excellence.
Keep them coming! Saving up for my fj60 upgrade.
I love your work, I wish I could buy parts that you use from your shop. Those sunvisors for example.........
Another beautiful product!
Beautifully robust!
love this truck, wish you guys did g wagons or LR defenders!
I think this is my favorite one yet!
Do one of the old shop tours. And show some of the completed Derelicts if possible. Haven't heard much about those lately.
MORE DERELICTS!!! I'm dying to see that rolls done
I'd love to see a vid on that Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Spyder you were working on... How's that comming along btw?
Keep up the great work!!!
And I love the addition of the roof rack btw
Best looking one yet. As others have already noted.
The videos are great, but would love to see more of the build and engineering for each type of product car you do. Very time consuming on your part though. On an unrelated note, have any of the ICON products been sold to UK customers ?
Work of art!
My fave BR so far. I would love to see one fitted with a good quality roof top tent. Have you ever done any Airstream travel trailers?
My favourite too. Although I wonder why slats in the roof rack are not carbon fiber as those would be super super easy to do. Also wondering why there are not led stripes incorporated into outer pieces of the rack, as the shape is so that it would not be stupid looking and very well away from any scratches...

Best one ever don't change a thing!
Whats the scoop on the gauge panel? Its really sharp!
THANK YOU J.W.

Haven't seen it in the newer videos, but when you throw in a small tool kit have you thought about Wright? US made tools from US produced steel, and they are pretty.
Those wheels look 100x than the ones on your other Broncos
Hello Mr. Ward, i am just wondering if you are still considering adding vintage passenger cars such as the BMW 2002 to your line up? That would very interesting.. I believe you stated this in a petrolicous interview. Anyways amazing work as always!!!
Why don't you offer the ICON front and rear bumpers for separate sale any more? great design and function.
I personally would love to hear more about everything, though i'd also watch these all even if they were 30+ mins long so
She's a beauty.
I'd take this over a g wagen and maybe even a land rover. Broncos are just iconic. pun intended.
amazing work & great taste :) mi dream car to another level, wow...
It looks like you have 2 mufflers inline. What does the cylindrical one do?
That engine looks like a really tight fit. Any serviceability issues?
Excellent. Good thinking.
How about filming a build from start to finish with a monthly video?
Hi Jonathan, as always good job. Who is Camilo Pardo? I like the new console and pen. The dash lamps, the aircraft sunvisors, the cargo anchors and the super Fox ajustable shocks. I dream to have my Icon FJ80. Congratulations!
I visit his web an immaculate orange and silver GT :)
Do you have any videos that show how the quick release back seat is removed?
You mentioned the map lights were a found item. Is there any good source for picking up just one or two of those units? Been looking for something nice for my Willys. Thanks! Great work on your vehicles, I aspire to drive one someday.
Jesse Barta Looks like an Oplite 4 map light for aircraft. You can get them (along with other cool stuff) at Aircraft Spruce.
would you implement carbon fiber in your builds?
are you involved at all on the new ford bronco revival?
that is an amazing truck
Where do you get those sunglasses?
Hey Jonathan you only do this wheels or I can have with method wheels?
John I love all your builds and designs. Your attention to detail is insane! However can you PLEASE look at a better way of doing the ARB switches? The standard ARB sheet metal mounting bracket and ugly rocker switches look like a $2.99 boat switch. Please man you can do better :P
im short on money, but i think 900 sounds like a fair price for it :3
Beautiful
Is your fuel tank baffled?
Is that a Nike 'swoosh' on the number plate at the beginning?
way Kool. FINS UP AGAIN :)
Are there 2 mufflers inline?
How comes the bronco emblems are the old style? I thought ford made you change that.
+Jonathan Ward Understood, and that's a bummer btw cause I like the old style emblems compared to the new ones you are using but oh well you gotta do what you gotta do.
we need more land cruiser 80 videos please =D
brilliant
I would am curious about diesel options. Duramax!!
Don't ever change and vote for Trump!

Why don't you guys do a IH Scout?? Please.
What's the exact name of this color of white used on this one?
Mr.Ward, would you save a life if you knew you could?
how much are these
too bad those axles will never see dirt.
wait nikes?
...These video's are defiantly not redundant!
What states say a 77 isn't exempt for emissions.?? In Canada we got a 15yo import law where vehicles can be imported modded, registered and then modded more after no issue. Californias the only place I can think of that'd be natzis for any classic
If you would like a 73 Jeep Wagoneer as a test bed I will gladly offer mine up. I could never afford your stuff either but I can dream.
I wonder what you could do if you do the icon philosophy / treatment to the classic mini. Those were not very reliable to full of character like all your projects.
I feel like I am watching porn. I mean this is just disgusting. Well done gentlemen.
doing a good job Mr. Ward (^_^)
