Monitored calls in jail and prison can be used in court. 1500 calls...WOW! I am sure the prosecution will way thru which ones can be evidence. Even attorney calls can only be private if requested. When calling from jail, there is a message that the client and attorney hear before starting the call. The message says the calls may be “recorded and monitored.” If the attorney has not asked for a private call, any information talked about on these calls can be used by prosecutors. District prosecutors are also listening to these calls to find evidence to use against the jailed person. Prosecutors are also listening to recorded calls to find out if the person behind bars is likely to take a plea deal. Defense attorneys are afraid that prosecutors will also use this information to intimidate their clients.
These lawyers have filed motion after motion after motion! Just really shows how scared they were that they didn’t have a defense. And as such they ALL were found GUILTY!!!
They are filing motions in preparation for the appeals process down the road, sort of like planting seeds of doubt, no matter how far fetched, it’s a normal common strategy…all they need is for one of the motions down the line to pay off and it could unfortunately reverse the convictions if they get the right judge/jury.
@@portiamarie3713 yes the “right judge” meaning an appellate judge who agrees with the defense motions and that the appeal is successful for the defense in getting the verdict overturned.

Schizoaffective disorder is not something that bothers somebody every single moment of their life. It comes and goes. Elizabeth MD
The lawyers are so out of touch with this case it's amazing that they passed the bar exam, but after all this is Georgia and the defense attorneys definitely did a terrible job in preparing their case. Sighting the 14 amendment to block phone calls coming from jail, are the McMicheal's so stupid to talk about anything incriminating on the phone. They were caught by their own actions on videotape.
Someone involved in law enforcement knows these calls are recorded. He just thought his buddies would protect him
Now that them clowns are convicted & facing life.I wonder how funny it is now🤔🤦🏽♂️
I fail to see how his schizophrenia could cause them to be so paranoid as to see him jogging as a threat.
I see what you did there.
Bet that racist isn't laughing right about now! BAM!
Love how he said an unarmed man instead of adding a color that’s respect we’re all equal that’s what we’re still fighting for equality justice and respect same as we give and have to work on ourselves.
No Good Deed!! WTF was the good deed… you chased that man down the hey shot him like a dog and you didn’t try to help him AT ALL and now you want to be the good guy like you provided a service of a Good Deed.
Fact that this guy was D A investigator says alot about that office. They should go through his cases. Person doesn't get this dumb and racist over night. I don't know what was his responsibilities on his job
Everything he did.
His disregard that another humans life is over because of their actions. His remarks cause me concern about his arrogance and convinced attitude that this will all be adjudicated in his favor. This runs deep within the local authorities and government. Shameful, don't visit that racist county.
Life In Prison! That is all! 👍🏽
A good deed is to stop a murder, not film one...
@@HayastAnFedayi Right judge ? 🤔
@@portiamarie3713 yes the “right judge” meaning an appellate judge who agrees with the defense motions and that the appeal is successful for the defense in getting the verdict overturned.
@@HayastAnFedayi defense has NO defense 😂
@@portiamarie3713 I’m not saying they do…
No your in jail everything you say is recorded and yes it should be played in court.
Not fair to punish "good" murders!
There is no expectation of privacy in a call to or from prison. Especially, when you are told at the beginning of the call it is recorded. Any privilege is nullified if there is a third party involved. Thus the recording nullifies spousal privilege.
The Hippie Attorney and his Noodle Hair Wife are just horrible attorney’s
Chase a man down . . . he is physically confronted . . . now is is mentally accountable for attempting to defend himself and becoming angry . . Really, really, really?
Sounds about yt.
How the hell was arbery aggressive the defense don't have s*** they going to say that he was aggressive he was trying to get away from them people and he was angry cuz people were chasing him boy oh boy
And that's why I call him Greg McDumbdaddy SMH 😯 1500 calls? Unreal. He didn't know that his calls were being recorded and he worked in Law Enforcement? Smh 😲
GUILTY TO THE FULLEST...............,..
It’s on video, the constitution gives them a right to a fair trail but it’s on video. I don’t think our forefathers ever could fathom a murder recorded on video, to be watched and that needing a trial.
I still don't understand how that Rodney person would think releasing the video would prove them innocent. That was the only reason he put it out there over speculation otherwise it never would have been known.
@@whathappenedtomyYThandle he panicked as soon as the news went viral
@@aaronburratwood.6957 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@whathappenedtomyYThandle It was Gregory's idea to release the video. LOLOL
It would be "error" to NOT blame the victim!?
It appears that Georgia has a shit-ton of terrible defense lawyers.
Prisoner is making it easier for prosecution 👏
EGO over self preservation
Classic
This is what it sounds like when someone thinks they are untouchable.
Possibly, but keep in mind the statement has two possible meanings. 1- the good dead was killing Arbery. 2- the good dead was being a concerned citizen out to protect their neighborhood, the killing not being premeditated.
Only letters from your lawyer can't be opened up but that's it ..
I'm glad the calls were admitted as evidence.
The criminal justice system in this country gets a happy when they put victims on trial instead of the murderers.
And a good sector of the public gets happy when they elevate speculation to the status of certainty.
Say it and forget it write it and regret it.
Big mouth greg.that why he is in prison.
Wow they had 1500 calls . They really talked themselves into a new gated community. Gregory you have worked in Law Enforcement there is no privacy of your phone calls.
I am not surprised. Michael Dunn did the same thing in his jail house calls.
He sure did
I thought jail calls always come in to court?
Abhorrent...
