I gotta say that white dial is a thing of beauty. Beautiful watch. If I could have another Rolex I would so love that one ( but in 36mm of COURSE) great videography Titan !
Thanks bro! My wife thinks it's a very pretty watch kind of feminine. *Her words* I definitely felt weird wearing it all day not my cup of tea but it is a beauty.
Nice video review Sir...keep up the good work! I bought a watch like this but with Oyster bracelet and smooth bezel brand new from my AD last May. While I liked the white dial, I kept seeing videos of the blue dial (stick markers) watch here on RUclips and I tried to talk myself out of admitting I should have bought a blue dialed DJ41 instead of the white one. I went for white dial because I already have a 2019 Bluesy which I bought 7 months prior. Fast forward to Feb 2021 and my AD lets me know that they have a blue DJ41 coming in with the rest of the specs matching the watch in your review. I just had to have it so I traded the white one in for the blue one. Besides the Bluesy I also have a 2020 TT Rootbeer (bought all of them new from the same AD), so I already had two watches with Oyster bracelets, so I am really loving having a jubilee bracelet on the DJ41 which is my daily beater. The fluted bezel looks fantastic too, I am very happy with this watch! I was debating getting the exact watch in your video, but when the blue version became available, I just had to jump on it! Thanks again for the video, looking forward to seeing more!
Nice collection Manny, in addition to the three you mentioned I too was fortunate enough to pick up from my AD. Skydweller, Pepsi, batman, both black dial date and non date Subs, and a vintage 1987-88 16700 transitional R Series from Europe. Thanks for not being a Rolex hater .
I have this exact watch.....I love it. Sometimes its a little flashy or a little too big but I usually just look at it and say " damn" I love it. I have a black, 36, fluted, jubilee as well and it's a little more comfortable and sleeker but I can never decide which one to wear.
That’s a watch! Beautiful! I prefer the smooth Bezel models instead of the fluted but that just comes down to preference… A little less bling! For the fun review!
I no i said on a previous video that im not a fan of rolex but i cant help but love the classic datejust which might be lucky as thats all you can get nowadays. hope everything is going well.
I love mine. I almost sold it not long ago. Luckily I didn’t have enough serious buyers here in OZ so I decided to keep it. I’m so glad I did. Really love it. It really grew on me! Mine is smooth bezel and oyster bracelet.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the 3235 supposed to fall within -2 / +2 seconds per day? From the timegrapher, it showed +3 then +4 seconds per day. I know that this still falls within the -6 / +4 COSC certification though. By the way, great video as always bro!
yes but remember it is regulated to 6 positions. so maybe this rolex is slow -4s on 12 down a very common wrist position during the day. I should have checked 2 positions but with this level of regulation you shouldn't have to worry with on wrist performance. Although one of my subs said his new explorer was doing 6s. So take that for what you will. Trying to keep the video length as short as possible as the new trend is shorter videos. so info usually gets cut out sometimes important info but we try to not let that happen. but it does!
@@EscapementWatch Appreciate your reply bro! I definitely understand that you need to keep your videos to a certain time for engagement. Loving the high quality videos you're producing!
Yeah man it's definitely something I always have to be thinking about constantly while I'm talking. Remember when I started last year my videos were over 45 minutes long but I covered everything in ridiculous amount of detail but of course no one watched
@@EscapementWatch As I understand it, it should run at +/- 2 seconds in 6 positions, similar to cosc which is -4 to +6 in 5 positions. You should hardly get any positional variation on a Rolex movement.
@@EscapementWatch haha it does look like a mil dollars to me! Had a chance of owning a 1992 tapestry silver dial Datejust Dec 2019 but didn't pull the trigger... One of the biggest watch regrets of my life. Haha
I got offered this watch today and I am heavily debating between this and the blue dial. How has your watch held up? And what is your opinion on it long term?
Dude, please don't turn into 'that other channel...' the world doesn't need any more 'how to make friends with your Rolex AD' vids! Chump. Interesting you got 39.7mm. I think Hafiz got 40.5. Clearly some variation. In callipers, watches and measurement angle. But, they do wear big, eh? 'Specially in white. Wears like a 41. I'd be interested to see you try a 36 OP or DJ. Gotta say, that Timegrapher result was a bit Meh. Seen you get better from Longines and Seiko!
Yeah one day I want to try a 36 mm but they are not rare enough so I don't think I'll have access to them because I only have access because of the gray market. Maybe the 36 Explorer one day will appear
@@EscapementWatch Interesting - might wear better for you. I've never tried a 36 on either. I guess a Rolex 36 wears like most brands' 38. As for the Explorer - I was on the wait list for a 39 but always thought it's face was too big, so hoping the 36 isn't so impossible... But I reckon the Seiko Alpinist 1959 Recreation 36 will be better anyway!
I love how it manages to be loud and classy at the same time.
This configuration is so underrated. Personally think it’s one of the best

@@EscapementWatch it’s luxurious not feminine lol
Great video. I wonder if that white dial will turn yellow overtime?? Thx
Smooth bezel with jubilee bracelet works with Roman numerals, but the smudges would bother TF out of me so no- go. I did the fluted and jubilee

Amazing video. Thank you :) Mine has just arrived at the AD. Very excited to collect next week
Hope you enjoy it!
This watch as is looks how it should be, smooth bezel works better with the oyster IMO

Good choice!

Totally agree!
Just bought this beauty, originally wanted the slate or blue dial but the white popped! Got it in smooth bezel with jubilee
Nice pick up
Another great review!
May i ask you the maker of your caliper.

Right on
Smooth bezel with jubilee.
Great video. Again, I love the classic look of this watch so timeless. I own the blue dial version very comfortable wearing peice.
Thanks for sharing!
Check out the Pepsi GMT review. You got that one?
Smooth bezel with jubilee , salmon dial, Roman numerals, and 36 mm.. classy 100% 😎 Sounds like my DJ 🤓. Great content bro 👏🏻
Good choice!

Wears small on my 20cm wrist unfortunately , otherwise an absolutely gorgeous piece in person.
Are you sure it wears small? 41mm on a 7+ inch sounds right. It should no over power the wrist. But you might be used to large watch look.
@@EscapementWatch I’m actually just over 8 with pretty big hands to boot, definitely wears a tad small. Believe me, I want to believe otherwise
How do you think it would look on a 7.5inch wrist?
@@TheGabagoolGuru I think that’s probably the limit, but again I’m really big boned. My Sea Dweller looks smallish ;)
Very pretty.
Of course I want to buy it. Can I afford it....maybe is it worth a divorce 🤣
LoL
Worth the argument. Cheaper than a divorce lol
If you own a retail business tell her someone owed you money but settled for the watch instead 🤔
