    My problem with this is early universe stars were all huge. So the ratio originally would've been different therefor there is blackholes further away than anything else i.e impossibly hard to see.

    This just in, a scientific breakthrough has just emerged. Black holes are rare. We don’t know how rare, best guess is very…. very rare.

    There are direct collapse black holes that dont require stars, stars can collide and form blackholes. Supernova isnt the only mechanism
