- I'm finally going to show you how to build Mace Windu's lightsaber at Disney parks. Unfortunately the pieces used to make the slightly more accurate version are no longer at Disneyland and Disney World, but there are options to customize this toy lightsaber to get pretty close to Mace Windu's lightsaber.

They need to combine both, so that you can have either a crossguard piece or different sounds. But only different sounds, not different lights. Cause what if we want the sith sounds with a blue blade?

Nice Video Dan-O I really like Mace Windu Lightsaber But if I had that lightsaber kit from the Clone Wars set I would make my own custom lightsaber to use Mace Windu emitter and Count Dooku Short Sleeve And Yoda’s Lightsaber Hilt Sleeve And The Other End Cap is looks like Kit Fisto’s End Cap And use Green Crystal and Red Crystal it would make like a Yellow colour but 10/10

I was recently building Kylo Ren's lightsaber at Disney Springs and the cast member helping me was super cool and had asked me which lightsaber I built before and I told him I had wanted to make Mace Windu's but all they had was the gold ring piece so it was just a mishmash of pieces I thought looked cool to go with it. He was awesome and gave me the new end cap piece that is Mace Windu's. I will slowly make a replica of Mace's saber one piece at a time haha!
He also grabbed me a different hilt when he saw I was trying to build Kylo's saber and I did notice that it gives the crackly un-hinged sound that Kylo's saber makes - so maybe they do have different hilts? Or it's just updated? All he said was "You don't want that one" and went digging and grabbed a different one and I didn't question him.
Andrameda7 the Mace Windu end cap has been recently released?
I phrased that badly, new in the sense that they did not have it when I built my first saber a few years ago. They could have just been out? But the cast member helping me made it sound like they didn't have it when I built my saber before.

Probably have mentioned the collectors Force FX Light Sabers, before, but I wish they had something for adults, where you could build the hilt & just put the Saber on, I know it would probably be just 2 pieces (& then some), but still, as for the kids are plastic, make it to where the adults are metal or something for us older folks out here too. Would be neat to see.

I don’t think this end cap is available at the Disney parks currently. I recently took a visit to the parks in June of last year and did not find that end cap. That was my ideal end cap and was disappointed not to find it!!! If it is still there, I want one!!!

Fan have a question when I was at Disney land building my own light saber with drth Vader helt with a green blade to honor Darth vader/ Anakin Skywalker and Luke. Question is when I was at Disney land I started building it, but they were missing parts so I find half of my light saber. Do you know were I can get the Darth Vader parts to finish my bed I weapon this happen in 12/28/2012.

Jason Voorhees The price for a standard, one blade, no cross guard lightsaber is around $30, I think. As for buying it on amazon, you may be able to make the ones modeled after certain characters from Star Wars, but you won’t be able to customize it, which is really the fun part.
I wonder what the new hilts sound like? I wonder if there’s a way you can still change the sound somewhat?
There are 2 sounds on the current hilts. A standard lightsaber sound and then when you add any cross guard emitters it changes to a crackle sound just like kylo Rens lightsaber. But it’s just those two sound options.

Eric T yes all the build your own lightsaber stations are still there. They don’t have anything to do with Galaxy’s edge other than the name Star Wars and lightsaber.

I personally like your Disney parks version a bit more, but I do think Disney should make more hilts and blade colors for their build your own saber stations, especially with how many lightsabers are in canon now, and there are so many hilts and colors that Disney is missing opportunities to make a lot of money, especially with big characters like Asohka's white sabers, Sabine/Maul's darksaber, they made a black color blade for one of the Light Daggers in the BladeBuilders line, so they could make a black saber blade, or with the Temple Guards and their ornate hilts and yellow blades. Disney is severely limiting itself with just the popular blue, green, purple, and red blades, and the same hilt, even though It says to choose one. I actually passed on making my own when I went to Disney Studios because of the limited options.
