- I finally got ahold of the Star Wars Clone Wars Ultimate Build your own lightsaber Kit. This kit lets you build up to 1000 different lightsaber combinations and is very similar to Disneyland's Build your own lightsaber station which can also be found in various other Disney Parks. This kit also lets you build Maris Brood's Lightsaber, Count Dooku's Lightsaber, Mace Windu's lightsaber, and Yoda's Lightsaber.

I remember getting this for Christmas back in 2008. Used to love this thing.
This takes me back, I still have the light saber hilt with the blade,one of the emitter's,and one of the end caps. But as a little kid back then I lost almost all of the others, the door that covers the crystals, and the crystals.

I'm so glad this thing includes the side-grip, as I've been looking for one compatible with the older Disney World-built sabers. I'm building a custom saber that's linked to a character I'm making, and since the extremely fancy combat-ready sabers are so expensive, this helps quite a bit.

Ilum is still cannon. It's not the only place to get Kyber crystals. But it's the main place.

When I was around 8 dad got me this and we built our own lightsaber that I still have in near perfect condition to this day I didn't use the clear blade but got a green one instead. It had the plain silver hilt with a darth maul emitter and the plain endcap

Strangely enough, I recently got one of these but it must be just a slightly older version. I noticed on your box there are 4 different lightsaber pictures (bottom side) with Mace Windu’s being one of them. My box looks almost exactly identical except there are only 3 pictures on mine. Additionally you cannot put in multiple crystals and get color combinations. If you put in red and blue and turn it on you’ll get either red or blue lights. Turn it off and on again and you’ll get the other color. I wish I knew this was the thing or I would have looked for the newer version

When I was a kid I thought that the lightsaber hilt y su pose to look like Palpatine's lightsaber and no Mace's but I'm ok knowing the truth, also this is the cheapest way to have a yellow lightsaber, I would totally buy this set

+Epcot lp well up until September 2015. That's when they changed the hilt style and made newer pieces.
The Dan-O Channel really? I went back to disney multiple times in the past few years and my clear bladed lightsabers are the the only ones I've ever seen. Made one many years ago, and then my dad found another one at goodwill.
+Epcot lp the clear ones appeared at Disney parks and were clear to start back in 2006/2007. I can't speak for other parks but at Disneyland They changed to opaque colored blades sometime around 2009. Again i can't speak for the 2 stations at Wdw but The next major change came during Force Friday 2015 when they changed the hilt style and added Kylo Ren's cross guard emitter. Last month for the first time in almost 2 years they added new pieces, green, blue and purple cross guard emitters.
The Dan-O Channel Wow thank you for replying with all that! I've always wondered when exactly and how I got it but I could only ever guess. I had one memory of making it and then I lost it for years. In the past three I found it again and since then it has become my most prized possession. When I bring it to the parks the joy on the kids faces and their dad's too(sometimes even mothers) when they see a white one is great! Best thing about it is that it's collapsible which means it fits in my bag on rides. I've slowly added pieces from goodwill sabers I find, and even napkin rings and other knick nacks that lucklily fit perfectly!

I feel like Dooku’s emitter also should’ve been curved but I think that just wouldn’t make the blade light up as good

The Force Unleashed game was released that same year...possibly a cross-promo thing since Hasbro-Wizards of the Coast also had the rights to the role-playing game [Star Wars Saga Edition RPG], collectible miniatures, and were doing the sourcebook(s) for "The Force Unleashed Campaign Guide" and "The Clone Wars Campaign Guide" all at the same time.

One question, I got one of these kits and there is something off about the hilt, it isn’t making the cool colors that are seen in this video (purple, yellow, etc.) I put the right crystals in, but it only shows red, blue, and green even when I combine crystals. What is wrong?

I have this set. My hilt only cycles red, blue, green. it never mixes colors like yours. What's up with that?
Hey Dan-O, don't know if you read this but maybe you can help me. I bought this set a few days ago. The seller opened it only once many years ago, tried it out and then put ir back in the box, so it's basically new. However when I try to use the lightsaber, it won't make any battle noises, only a continous hum loop, or react to my movement in any other way. And each and everytime it automatically deactivates after about half a minute. It's always the same, as if there was a demo mode but I'm pretty certain it has none. The batteries are completely fresh.
Do you, or someone else, know if this issue?
Or should I just try different batteries? Mine have the same voltage as written on the box but idk maybe there not good enough.
Hope someone can help me, it's a bit annoying having such a juwel of toy lightsaber history at home but it's not working properly.

thats so weird, i recently bought one either a clone wars ver edition or disney park ver from a thrift shop last october and when i turn it on with any combination of crystals in it, it only has white led lights in it that light up. wth?! i dont understand whats going on ....
Hey Danna this is Shannon If you use square rubber But round or Round only rubber seals from hardware store you can manipulate the clone wars Ultimate lightsaber pieces By putting One inside some of the young cats and you can Align some of the pieces And come up with new designs From the build your own lightsaber Clone wars set The rubber seals can help to hold certain pieces in place And if you think about it there is a way to connect an end cap And blade to the Tampa And cat And if you wrap a small flashlight white LED instead of Part insulation You can make a double blatant lightsaber Or a long dagger blade Yeah you have to figure out a way to connect an end cap to an end cap It can be done I'm not gonna tell you how That's my little secret That way you can come up with a different idea than I did and make it work

Help please. my clone wars build your own lightsaber is acting weird... when I put blue it, it makes blue. (Like it should) but when I add red to make purple, it just toggles between red and blue. If you know what’s wrong. Please say so.

Yup and they still have the build your own lightsaber stations, the pieces have been updated and the inner hilt is different.

I just got the kit for my little brother, but weirdly when we put in crystal combinations like red and blue, instead of getting purple it switches between red and blue.

They know I have a RUclips channel, so as a thank you for the work I've been doing they brought me a double deluxe build your own lightsaber from Disneyland.

I got mine on eBay. But because they are now a few years old, there is not guarantee to find them on there or anywhere. They get harder and harder to find as time goes on.

Including Maris Brood as a character on the box is kinda odd in my opinion. She only appeared in force unleashed which is not a kids game, and even so, she's not exactly a character kids would care about. Maybe she was planned for the clone wars but who knows
I’ve had one of these for a loooooong time I ended up just putting some of the front and back pieces on it and putting aluminum foil tape on the grey parts
Darth mauls emitter should have actually been their though, he showed up in the show for revenge on obi wan and he was in phantom menace that takes place before the clone wars.
