I have one problem with AR glasses and most people will have the same problem with any AR glasses. Its Fov - all have half the FOV you find in a Morden VR headset which results in Eye strain and uncomfortable I only recommend if you are mobile and need to use for a few minutes Otherwise if at home - a big screen TV/monitor with multi view and connectivity options is better VR headset like Quest 3, new Pico 4 ultra can have an immersive better experience and even give you multitudes of virtual environments, eg Rain forest, Space, Office etc VR headsets can work with headphones or even buds for even a more 3d audio sorround
I agree 100%. I think the field of view is just an accepted and known thing. I know I shared the spec but I wish I’d gone in deeper about that now that you mention it. It’s fine for a lot of uses but I love the fov on my quest 3 for virtual desktop. It’s amazing. Eye strain on the viture pros tho for me didn’t happen at all. I haven’t really as as much time yet with the ray neos but they do look and sound great.
@@cppctek I had the first RayNeo 2, and used them, when my TV broke and wanted to budget for a more expensive TV. At that time quest 3 could not be used with PS5, or Xbox or even a mobile /tablet device.. Now you can. I want to say this and this... The RayNeo AR glasses were good enough for PS5 gaming and movie streaming etc. It's a clear amazing oled screen and I loved it. What makes these glasses great is what they call PPD ... and not PPI. Their PPD is very high making a 1080p video look 4k. So the screen is not blurry or pixilated like in an Oled VR headset like PSVR2.. an issue with Fresnel lenses. It's so clear on AR oled glasses because of PPD. How ever pan cake lenses on quest 3 and some VR headsets is what you want for what they call a wider sweet spot. The Visor 4k is going to bring both worlds in one AR/VR glass but there is not much out there about it to suggest it will be mainstream before 2025. Good luck and enjoy your AR glasses
@gamers-generation that’s a hard one ….. a really hard one. Gunna need the glasses for that one to get maximum enjoyment anyways so both, gotta have both
The ability to clearly see for me is key in the vitures but your experience may vary. Check out okestgamer review of his glasses he said they were perfect
the problem with blurry edges is that the lenses arent perfect triangles in which they need to be because you're looking at a rectangled image. is there a way to zoom the image out and if so how small does it have to be so one wouldnt have the round lenses cut the rectangular image off causing these blurry edges? Also, you need to show how they look on your face and whether or not they look too small like the viture pro xr glasses.
Hey we “the Original ROG Ally owners” are having an issue where our Allys all the sudden stopped charging. No matter what we do the ally just won’t charge at all, please see if you can look into this matter and help us out 😢
@martine8057 have you tried removing the battery cable on the Ally and holding power down for 30 seconds ? Also try a different charger ? Maybe the charger has died
@@cppctek we have tried removing the battery and holding the power button, we have tried different chargers, we have tried holding down the volume (both + and -) along with power button, we tried letting the ally just chill for a day or two and nothing.
Personally for me yes. But with that said it’s 50/50 with people I’ve spoken to. My colleague okestgamer in his review said his edges are perfect on them
Great question. Actually not too bad but with any type of display that’s external you have to worry about a slight amount of delay but it’s easy for most folks to adjust to it. It does add some input latency but I’d rate it about the same as using some docks to TV’s. It’s doable for sure but I do prefer native display or the fastest display possible for fps shooters tho.
I have. You can totally make it work on some glasses depending on your frames. I’ve even taken an old pair of glasses before and removed the arms and nose pieces and attached them to the ar glasses with some tape or rubber bands lol 😂
I haven’t had my hands on the xreal air 2 before so I couldn’t say untill I get my hands on it but I know people love those a lot ! I would say to watch as many reviews as possible and find the one that has what you’re lookin for and checks all the boxes. Find all the pros and cons for both
@robertsmith20022 psvr is terrible that’s why. Low refresh rate and low fps esp coming off a console. Quest 3 blows the psvr2 away. I’ve had psvr and hated it so so so much. Standalone quest 3 vr is light years better than psvr ever will or could be. And it being 120hz there’s no motion sickness
Good breakdown of each. Thanks!
Thank you brudduh ! 💕🤠

Great review! Why do you say Viture's would be better for reading text (productivity work)? Is it the clarity of the text or is it something else?

Try holding down power and volume down for 30 seconds, or power and volume up for 30 seconds while plugged in.
Tried and it didn’t work :(
@@cppctek I tried doing it again and it does not work at all.

I've wanted to get a pair of these since I had a steam deck

Yes no drivers or software needed
hi RayNeo AIR 2s XR ,He doesn't seem to have a gyroscope and can't float the video, If traveling in a plane,or car , will vibration cause dizziness?
I never got motion sickness using these. The image will stay stationary. Most others all do this too
This channel reminds me of another channel with a different voice reviewing game stuff😊
Been wanting a pair of XR glasses wonder which I should get
Depends on your needs and head size. I love the Viture pros but wish they had looser hinges
@@cppctek Any experience with the Xreal air 2 pro?
