Oh, some kind of neck ruff would have worked really well! It also would have been very similar to Dragonite but who cares lol. I think I would keep it green, though, I think the colour itself adds a lot.
@@UmbreonLibris lol maybe it's green because of moss, Snorlaxes gathering moss in their fur because of their sedentary lifestyle... Or they could've made it itself for maximum comfort.
As a Dragonite-hater I quite like your Dragonite Design. I do like the original Dragonair more (I am a bit biased against snakes), but its still good. And the lore reason for dragonairs evolution could be the snake-like korean imogi which can turn into dragons. But the thing is, korean dragons are also serpentine...
The dragons look amazing. I wouldn't say each one is better than the original by itself, but the theme you gave the whole line takes it to the next level. This is how it should've been all along
I really like your take on those designs personally I don’t mind the neck pillow since it’s looks like a natural part of the design. I also really like how much cohesive your Dragonite line looks but I have to point out that there’s a reason the official one looks the way they do since the line is based on the Imugi Korean dragon basically large serpents that becomes true dragons if they live for one thousand years. That being said I really enjoy your take on this line and I look forward to the final episode of the series
My only problem, and a problem I had with the original too, is Dragonair's head wings. Dratini (and Dragonite here) has these cool sail/gill things which become some incredibly out-of-place feather wings. They are slightly better integrated here with the fluff, but that's detracted from by the consistency between Dratini and Dragonite. Still, I think they are better than the originals. I might've tried separating them into 2 lines (gen1 desperately needed it), but that's outside the scope of this project.
I am so happy to see that you guys have finally finished this awesome project. It's been really fun to see from beginning to end. Like I've mentioned before in an earlier video, I still would love to see Gen 2 & 3 redone, but I know how time consuming it is; I just thought I'd throw it out there into the ether lol. But like I said, I absolutely loved this series and I hope you all keep up the good work! And I wish you all a very merry Christmas.. 😊👍🔥🔥🔥 #TheNew151
Personally I'm fine with the neck pillow on Snorlax, but I really don't like its hair, I would have preferred something that alluded to messy hair over actual messy hair. For the Dragonite line I think that changing dragonite's color to be more blue was an off choice, I think having it be orange and having those other features relating to dratini and dragonair would've worked better, also dragonair's legs look to thin to me. I think that overall your redisgins are pretty good, these are just the complaints I had.
Maybe the neck-pillow could have been a fluffy ruff? You could have made it the same cream color as the face.

I love that unicorn horn on dragonite!!🦄🐉

dragonite really needed something to make it more appealing, super nice job! also the pouch on snorlax is a great idea!

Oh my star! The 3 dragon pokemon are so, so cute!
I'd like to think of the neck pillow in Snorlax as a kind of dewlap
If anyone wanna give these redesigns different stats from the originals, be free to do so.
I like Snorlax, but maybe instead of a neck pillow you could just do a log. That could also kind of go along with being able to sleep anywhere.
Dragonair definitely looks too much like furbait for me, and I think adding a mouth to it takes away from its mystique and elegance.
I really don't like Snorlax's feet. Looks weird. Awkward leg proportion too
