It’s difficult out there yall. Shoutout to all the young men out there who are initiating generational wealth with no family support. We will break those curses in Jesus’ name, amen.

Amen! It's hard work, but Lord willing I'll pass on not only a legacy and inheritance of faith, but also of wealth to my future children (Lord willing) to the honor and glory of King Jesus

Be careful reducing your credit card maximum credit line. As noted, you want to keep it having enough margin such that you have less debt than 30% of your available line of credit.

While a Trust isn't about taxes, in some states Probate Court takes a portion of the estate as a fee. While not technically a tax, it basically is a tax under a different name. 4% fee for the first $100K, 3% fee on up to $800K, and 2% fee over $800K in California. I don't know about you, but I don't want to give the California government a penny more than I an legally obligated to do so.

I’ve yet to see anyone give a biblical answer as to why it’s a good idea to use a credit card other than saying “oh well, we live in Babylon.” That type of answer doesn’t give me comfort, especially when that excuse is used all the time in evangelicalism for public schools, college, jobs, etc. If we can get by without one, why support a system that is destroying the economy? Why support a system that is completely unethical? I get it, we have to pick and choose our battles. This is one however I feel like Christians don’t need to fall into.

I disagree with credit score. Cut up the credit cards and manually underwrite your debt. No credit score required.

Manually underwriting will give you less options. Less options inevitably leads to a higher rate. Conversely, more options will make a lower rate available. We've a 1.875% fixed APR on our mortgage right now due to our 800+ credit score and lot debt-to-income ration.
