Completely disagree with the analysis. Nationalism as being described by the hosts is a modern 19th century invention. For half of American history where was no such thing as an “American” identity. There were state identity or regional identity. The historic and natural identity for 90% of human history was a family identity based on the extended family and tribal ties. The only valid replacement for any of these distractions is love for and obedience to the Church.
