    What a cracking adventure and a very honest production. Beautiful dog and companion and you found some gold albeit that piece did look a bit phallic
    lol. Great stuff.

      Cheers buddy, I've watched a few of your videos, so it's very appreciated you dropping by! May do one or two more Gold hunt videos, may even see you out that way one day!

      Yes sure thing, please do some more videos. They are honest and give people a raw view of your adventures. I need to re-visit Scotland and do a wee bit of panning.

      heading to tyndrum this weekend where did u park your cars after u set up the wild camp?

    • @ScottishGoldHunter
      @ScottishGoldHunter 3 года назад +1

      @@pewkitt.4848 There is a lay-by across the road. It is usually quite busy with cars so we had to wait until someone moved!

      First time really doing it, but what definitely made things easier for us was :
      A small tripod stool for panning, saves your back
      Pack fairly light, as you may need to trek a bit
      As well as the usual kit, a durable bucket, sieve, pan, hand pump was a big bonus, and a deep gravel trowel
      Heavy waterproof gloves, our hands were in deep water for a long time
      And something like needle tweezers and a wee container for finds.
      Many more experienced folk out there, but these are the things that help us , best of luck buddy!

    So you’re the guys that dug the crom allt crater.... still visible on google earth.... did you hit bedrock?

    • @wildsibe7537
      @wildsibe7537  3 года назад

      Haha no, I wish! looks like that thing was dug by an excavator! We attempted to have a dig at it and find bedrock, but the side just kept sliding back in on its self, and it was below water level. Need some heavy duty machinery to move alot of material in that area!

      There is a big hole there on Bing maps aerial view. Thought you were joking. Great nuggets.

      @@cheviot62 I camped by it last year. There’s a few boulders in it but it’s huge.

      Best of luck! I'll be up on Friday! Not sure where is best to pan for exact results, lower maybe, alot has been panned out already, but new gold coming down all the time.The river is fast flowing , so waders are a good bet and lots of elbow grease! Let us know how you get on!
