I'm having fun trying out lots of amp models again now that they're not too boomy or too fizzy (like they were with the the other IRs I've tried). I replaced the IRs I was using on my clean, mid-gain, and high gain patches and they all sound better than they did before. This IR makes all the amps sound so wide open and natural, and it also lets the character of each amp model shine through. The Cameron Atomica model with this IR sounds unbelievable. THANK YOU!!!!
I thought my Mooer Radar sounded good with it´s stock ir´s. i´ve added some third party ir´s and this one. now ALL ir´s sound fizzy or muddy or shitty in some way compared to this. This is by far the most organic, original and real sounding ir i´ve ever heard and played. THX Compadre for sharing the best ir!

I do wonder how you pulled this off. It is in my opinion heads and shoulders above the rest. Other IRs I always find some nasal or fizzy quality to, but this one is full and balanced and organic. Sounds good with everything I tried. Thank you!

Wish I could use this in Amped Roots but it’s not compatible. Any chance the plugin can be updated to accept this IR or can you redo the IR to be compatible? Whatever is easiest. Wouldn’t know what to do myself. Thanks 😊
Replying 2 years later, I know, but in case anyone reads this now I have *no problem* with the latest (and free) version of Amped Roots and this IR, it sounds huge and natural and MUCH better than the integrated IRs.
mms217 I figured it out! In nad ir, you’ll see load at the top. Ignore that. You’ll just go down to the little file icon under the list of irs in nad ir. Click that. Then go to downloads and you’ll see your best ir file there. It should be as wav file. And click that
Hey Ben, I downloaded this ir and am using Nad ir which is a ir loader but I’m not sure where to put the “best ir in the world” file for Mac or how to load it. Can you help?
Ben win I figured it out dude! I got everything going good now, except my interface. For some reason my interface is making no sounds besides a really muddy cut in cut out sound. I’m using a Personus Audiobox interface in GarageBand and everything should work but it’s not.. it’s input output is setup properly so now Im just lost 🤦🏻♂️
Just hit the "Download" button under where it says "Best IR In The World", it should download from there, but let us know if you struggle with it! -Kai
I talked about the Iridium thing with some other IR producers at NAMM. I find it strange that they haven't tested it with regular IR files. Did you use the .WAV IR file?

That's the power of IR's. Amps are not nearly as powerful as cabs especially with driven tones. That's why it's important to use high quality IR's. :)
