    I hope they will just leave the the island for tours not to develop. It will ruin the serenity of the islands.

      I'm sure the small islands will be untouched. As for the main island they are developing fast. When I was there I had no idea about the base. It struck me as a bit remarkable as to how much money was being dumped into infrastructure. My heart is in the same place as you Rose. Great comment! THANK YOU! ❤ 😎 🌊

      I am Filipino I choose my country. I fight for inang bayan. I am wary of putting foreign bases in a area where there are local people residing. They should put bases where there are no towns or villages keep it secret not flaunt it to enemies. Bases are destroyers of local culture. A few years from now many female children will grow up as streetwalkers or single moms of mixed race

    If only the shortsighted Filipino Senators allowed the continued use of the US bases in the 90s, it would have been not possible for China to establish islands within your EEZ. False sense of patriotism and bravado but weak financially and militarily to back it up.

    The reason they have infrastructure fix because thus is one of the EDCA site, Balabac has 70 island around found at the tip of Palawan, for security purpose, otherwise the Chinese will take some of the smallest island, Chinese thinks that some island around in Balabac is included in their 9 dash lines, which is false, as you know Chinese doesn’t care about the international law, that is the reason why Balabac is very vital, and it doesn’t mean that it affects the tourism industry, as you know there were 70 more islands around in Balabac the the tourist can run around and enjoy the white sand bar

      @JackBriskTV  4 месяца назад +2

      lol, sweet sounding idea but I don't think so. In our distant history PH was a US territory. PH fought for independence and the are not giving it up. The honorable people of the Philippines enjoy their independence. I for one like that the PH is its own unique country with its own rules and customs. The us is a little over regulated and over taxed. We could use some reforms. GOD BLESS BOTH The US AND THE PH.. Two of the greatest countries to be in. 😎

      @@JeanAriesM funny Independence independence but the culture like basketball and english. We are more and more western than Being Filipino. I would bet if a Filipino would have a chance to get a green card visa to go the US they will grab it and bring their family 😂. China now has control of HK and they are getting Taiwan. They are now circling the PH. What do you think will stop them one day to take over PH??? So no choice lalaban ka pa rin or pasakop ka. So bandang huli asan independence if wala ka nang pinaglalaban at takot gobyerno lumaban or walang kakayahan lumaban?? If it was the US bases we can be the next Taiwan. Pinapasok na nga tayo ng mga yan sa POGO
      If PH is a US state and all Filipinos becomes US citizens. US now is obligated to defend every inch of its territory. Filipinos now has the right to move anywhere in the US. Out of the potential war vs China

    Main roads are fine but don't remove too much of the trees and foliage they would hide much of the rockets and armaments your going to put up in the island in defense of the teritory. Put up more mobile anti ship rocket launchers, sattelites, iron dome type mobile commands, and drone boats rather than putting up obvious structures Chinese satellites can pick out & target for their massive rocket force. Ukraine's devastation of Russia's naval ships should serve as a lesson that we don't need more expensive ships and tanks, we need more ammunition. i.e. rockets & drones, we have more than 100m people that is not as much as China, but at one time we were a manufacturing nation ahead of China, invest and transfer ammunition/rocket manufacturing.

    • @JackBriskTV
      @JackBriskTV  3 месяца назад +1

      Pretty simple. I was in Puerto Princess Palawan. I rented a car and drove down south to the end. At VERY tip, at the end of Palawan mainland you will hit a large Pier. Every morning speed boats leave at around 7am. They take you to the island. Just ask them and you will be on the right boat. I have a 12 part vid on my journey to Balabac where you can see every detail including hotels, prices and what its really like to travel there. Ill post part 1 here. Look in the descriptions to find other parts. Salamt po.. thanks for watching. There are so many islands with no people why not placing those dangerous military installations there and make it a secret. Military bases are dangerous for cities and established villages. They're gonna be target priority for enemies. Yes, economics of the place would increase incomes oppurtunities of the locals will be high but at what cost? The blessed innocence of the young ones of the populace. We should take lessons from Angeles City.

    • @JackBriskTV
      @JackBriskTV  3 месяца назад +1

      I thought the same but after being here and traveling around I have found that will likely not work. even the small islands seem to have pop. To have a large enough island for a blue water port and a 3k long air base you will 100% have a popuated island. The choice then becomes base or no base. It will always be around some locals. 🤔👍

      Reasonable question. I am not sure that any such island exists that is large enough for the air base and has a deep enough port to handle it all. To my knowledge all sizable islands have a population. I would have to research that. Lets pray no war happens. Don't want Joe or X to make a bad move. I fear something will happen before the next election for several reasons. Praying nothing will. 🙏

      First Chxn built artificial island. Then Chxn installed a large military base 140 mi off the shore of Palawan PH AND in the exclusive economic zone of the PH no less. As a result we get the EDCA and the Americans and Philippines buddy up and deploy. This new military air base and sea port no doubt pissed them off big time. They thought they would go unchallenged in West Philippine Sea. So saying shocked works for me. Bully gets reaction,, bully surprised? I think it works just fine. 😐
