20 Villains We're Still Waiting For In the MCU

- What a time we’re in. We get to talk about why the heck we haven’t seen a fictional demon appear in the same movie as Hawkeye yet. With many more projects to come and heroes to introduce, so come their opponents. The MCU is nothing without its villains. Sure the heroes take the spotlight, but the MCU villains often come right from the pages of the comics. Upcoming projects are certainly hinting towards the arrival of some fan favorites, but we are definitely waiting for quite a few villains to appear. From cosmic entities to older men who retired and chose hunting instead of golf as their next hobby, the villain population of the MCU is going to get a whole lot bigger. Let’s take a look at some of the villains we are still waiting to appear in the MCU right now.
Perhaps the largest glaring hole in the MCU in terms of villains go will definitely be here soon, given that a certain studio purchase means he can play with his friends again. Doctor Doom is commonly thought of as one of the smartest and most imposing villains in all of Marvel comics. The master of magnetism has been featured in several live action and animated properties. Magneto existed for quite a while as a part of the Fox X-Men universe, even being portrayed by multiple actors. However, we have all been waiting for mutants and the X-Men to be introduced in the MCU, and the hints keep getting bigger and bigger. What good is a hero without a villain to fight against? The MCU has seen several come and go, but there’s still a seemingly infinite number to choose from. Which Marvel villain are you most surprised that we haven’t seen in the MCU yet? There's no villain I want to see more in the MCU than Annilus and an adaption of the Annihilation wave storyline. I hope MODOK ends up to be Darren cross. I would love to see a proper creepy live action version of him. Imagine how crazy fans will go when Mephisto does come into the MCU. Also I can imagine a conversation in the far future of the MCU where after both having their own debut project where they fight their alter egos, Adam Warlock and Sentry casually talk about both having to fight and deal with their alter egos. A lot like the three Spiderman talking scene in no way home
With Daredevil now entering the MCU I would like to see the Gladiator and Typhoid Mary. The Circus of Crime would be cool too.

I would love to see less galactic threats, and more ground level villains. Those are cool every 4 years or so, but I like them a little more small in scope.

I remember the Mr. Sinister storyline in the 90's X-Men cartoon one of my favorites, but it felt like it lasted forever!

Probably everything happens with Kang like he can just go back to time or another dimension steal the infinity stone and erase the full branch timeline like how it was in the Loki's series

I'm still waiting on Samuel Sterns/The Leader... They left it at him getting hulks blood back in 2008 ad never revisited that. Definitely a missed opportunity

13:02 Definitely, one of my favorite villains or threats I want to see is the Pre-Retcon Beyonder, and it's curious to think that the concept of the Secret Wars is particularly suited to what the MCU is calling now the multiverse saga because Beyonder is essentially another universe in one being. Before appearing, the Pre-Retcon Beyonder existed in a dimension separate from the multiverse and was a lone entity making up the entirety of his reality. He was pulled into the multiverse by a tachyon beam that a group of supervillains called Intel were using to try and attract a vibranium meteor. Although Secret Wars is more or less a tangential storyline that doesn’t really affect the overall Marvel Universe until the rest of the Beyonder race comes in, some villains in the group are or will be already introduced to the MCU in the future phases, like for example MODOK or even Doctor Doom.
13:40 Also another of my favorite villains or threats I wish to see is the Molecule Man, but mainly I think that he will also be introduced on the future phases on the MCU, since he is strongly associated with the Fantastic Four, but has proven to be a worthy foe for a full teams of Avengers. It would be great if he were able to appear as a villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this of course once they had introduced the Fantastic Four on the MCU which they had already planned to make their own solo movie.
Hopefully they do Doctor Doom justice.

After the multiverse saga I hope the next big bad is higly related to magic cause it's not fully explored yet . Since thanos is related to space and kang to time I think it's normal for the next big bad to have his own theme.

I don't really think Magnrtos powers are underestimated. He's always been one of the most powerful characters in the comics. Sure, he's been depowered in the movies but I think the MCU will do it right.

A NEW VILLAINESS I HOPE GETS ADDED TO MARVEL SOMEDAY:
This is a ComicBook version of (Arachne) but her name is spelled ARACHNIE, and her backstory is somewhat different from the mythical Greek story.
Now I imagine that (Ms. Arachnie) had spent 800 years cursed to spend her life in a monster form, then in the nine hundredth year Athena had decided to lift the curse, and it’s because she had felt genuine guilt of what she had done to Arachnie.
In addition I imagine that Athena had decided to give (Arachnie) a second chance at living a happy life, and she wanted to given Arachnie something extra to her too, that being some magic powers of the Goddesses.
And so Athena had asked a few of the other Goddesses to do that process with her, and they had each willingly agreed to do so.
To add then later Greek Goddess Athena, and her female friends made a powerful spell, to prepare things for Arachnie’s 2nd. chance, and then they cast the last spell in order to send Arachnie into a future time frame from them.
When (Arachnie) arrived her eyes were a bit stunned from the bright light of the spell that was casted, then she finally adjusted her eyes, and discovered she was on a very large island that has a very thick fog bank surrounding it.
Then (Arachnie) decided to try out one of magic spells’s Athena had told her about, along with how to do it, and that spell revealed what the where she is at, why the island is the way it is, and to add what is the date she has arrived in, and that date is (OCTOBER 4TH, 2022).
Later ARACHNIE discovered that she has developed the ability to communicate with all types of spiders, and it’s do to the fact that she was previously cursed for so very long living as a SpiderMonster, she remembers her monster body’s upper torso was somewhat still human.
Anyway ARACHNIE after a number of months on her secret island she had master all of the magic powers, and the magic spells, and she had decided she wanted to travel to one of the countries, but first she needed to cast a spell to see which one she wanted to go to first.
The place is New York City, the reason why is because she saw a hero who wears a spider themed outfit, and his hero name is SPIDER-MAN.
So (Arachnie) had decided that is the first place she wants to go, but before she decides once she gets there she must find a place to live in the city, and figure out who is Spider-Man, and to add how old is he is age.
The reason why is because just in case ARACHNIE might need to cast a spell on her self in order to make her body the same age as him, but only after she finds out as much as she needs to know about him, and then she would arrange a encounter with him, that would appear to him as a chance meeting.
Now the villainess name I would give this new ComicBook is (ARACHNIE: GREY-WITCH With Goddess Powers) & it’s because she isn’t evil, she is more like one of those bad girl types, I imagine her being really lonely, and I imagine she becomes obsessed with SPIDER-MAN.
In addition her new name that she uses in the future era she lives in now is (Angela Violet Wild) & I imagine that she changes her looks off, and on until she figures out the right type of look she would settle with keeping permanently live with.
i think the goddess was a much more powerful villain than magus b/c her "crusade" was "holy" but her story came after magus, so they'd both need to exist
