these guys are being really aggressive!, lol. although the handbrake is great for insane angle or steering correction , using the handbrake less will help you maintain a faster speed. A charged clutch kick can do more than enough to spin your car sideways and keep full momentum. not too bad though id just try with a chiller sever haha these guys where nutty.
Yeah 😂 I saw I was going a little to slow I usually drift solo all the time I just try to be a smooth as I can but I see that in tandem i gotta think of the person behind me a little. Thank you for the tips is always appreciated im still learning so any tip is helpful 🙏🏾 thank you for watching
@FastLane no in tandems the person behind you has to slow for you not the other way around. You drift just fine, it's the other people that don't know how to brake to stay behind the lead man.
I've had decent tandies on this map following similar lines to yours, but most of the time you want to be a bit faster on the track, to join the longer bits together easier. Obv you can link them slow, but that takes a bit more skill then sending it 10km or so faster than what you were doing. Mean lines though bro
You use the brakes so much no wonder your slow haha, that being said people need to learn that chasing is to adapt to the leaders style. Good drifting tho!
😂 I thought going slow in this map was the way and using the brake was okay lool this was about my second time drifting with others in this map I usually always drive alone but thank you for the tip is always appreciated 🙏🏾. Thank you for watching
@@SmoothDrift Ah, lemme clarify, there is nothing wrong with the way you are drifting. Chase car needs to be able to not hit the lead car regardless IMO but most of the time people are either inexperienced in chase or expect the lead driver to drive like them and then you get doored and booted out into the netherworlds of AC haha
Dude i feel your pain lol.....Ive been joing some public Playground lobbies and you see this so much. I think the problem is that some really arent as good as they think and should not be tandaming at all. Then they see 2-3 guys getting a good skid in and wanna try and get on their door when they just arent at that skill level yet. Hope to see you in there sometime. Names xGeebZx and you can visit my twitch as well and maybe get some runs in. GeebzGames is my twitch. Keep putting it down out there
I’m so bad at drifting, I can’t figure out how to chain more than 1 or 2 drifts. How long did it take you to feel comfortable going the whole track? Any recommendations for getting better? Ive got my wheel settings and ffb all set up well, and ive got a shifter but I don’t have a handbrake (it’s bound to a button on my wheel so it’s hard to use). For reference, I’ve been working on it a few weeks so I know I’m still new. I basically just want to know how long it takes people to get good so I know if I’m on track
It depends everyone learn and take different time it might take you 2 weeks and other months just stay positive and have fun you will get It eventually 💪🏾. My advice is to set the force feedback low that was my mistake starting at 100% and also the steering and throttle don’t be too jumpy on it and feel the steering while combining the throttle to get a smoother transition and always be consistent but just have fun don’t stress you will get it ,there will be a run that it will just click and you will be like ahh so that’s it lol stay positive and don’t compare yourself to other learning time learn at your own peace💪🏾 thank you for watching🙏🏾
@@SmoothDrift Thanks a ton man. I appreciate the genuine answer. You just earned my sub. Would you suggest to try any drift servers or would you say it’d be more bothersome for others if I did that? I haven’t ever joined any yet for this reason but I wasn’t sure if maybe it’d be helpful at all
@@Randomperson40572thank you for subscribing mean a lot to me. I’ll say lime rock is a good one to start and about bothering other just follow with distance follow they’re transition. we all mess up when we start I myself still have a lot to learn, I still give other a little distance if I know that I would just mess them up I keep a little space. But try practicing alone that way you no forcing yourself to Match others
Sorry I’m not sure i have multiple style for that track I guess the fist time I downloaded it had all those different style, I’ll see if I get you the link to it , when i get on
Hey man, could you send me your thrustmaster settings both on the driver and in content manager? It's for a friend, his countersteer is way too violent, yours looks much smoother
when you use the foot brake it will bring the rear end to the outside of the turn try to use the throttle to steer you around the corner so you can maintain your speed and not get rear ended so much only use the foot brake for the first flick when you press it the second or third time your losing too much speed even for slow drifting
@@SmoothDrift also u can soften the rear ARB and spring rate to ease the rear ends swing speed during transitions by making it slower also try dropping the rear tire pressure ands little toe in in the rear to increase grip under throttle🎉
My biggest gripe with AC right now is that people don't give a fuck. The amount of players have gone up but the overall quality of drivers has diminished sooooooo bad. It's really night and day with the quality of drivers. I maybe find one really good person that can "match" my skill about once every other day if I play all day long but I usually lose my patience after 2-3 hours of being knocked off track by randoms who got inspired by TikTok or Instagram.
Yeah 😂 I usually play solo all the time, haven’t really tandem that much. But I did realize that. Thank you for the tip is always appreciated im still leaning so any tip is helpful, thank you for watching
Your killing brother, the way you drive is the way I've been working on getting to. I'm not sure I'll get there with the wheel I'm using at the moment though.. I'm using a thrustmaster tmx with a ts300 pedal set
You need to log in your steam account to your content manager, after you will be able to see an online option in drive where you able to join online servers
This dude and one or two other cars in the video could even drift in my opinion. Drifting is about style, not about racing around a track. When in a tandem, the people that are behind the leader have to brake to not run over the car in front of them.
@@SmoothDrift Nah the difference is that people nowadays don't even say "sorry" or "mb." 99% of these people will smack into you at mach 2 then ask why you're fucking up their line 🤣
First learn, then start pooping on people. Bro is drifting in 3rd person and his lines are still whack. No wonder ppl keep bumping into you. If you want to lead at least setup your car for a bit more grip.
Lol i was still learning😂 I used to find 3rd person a little harder, but now I use first person, it actually helped me so much I’m able to be more precise in turns. Checkout my new content if you interested. Thank you for watching 🙏🏾
