Now he's a lot more serious with more anti social ideation. However, so long as someone isn't a complete incel, there is probably a girl out there for them no matter the size. As someone that's trained and competed in Muay thai for 10 years hearing greek try to talk about fighting was the laugh I needed today

Ive been following Greek since the Sodapoppin h1z1 days, and he's definitely the most unhinged ive seen. Just for the record, anyone that yells and make their whole character an "alpha" usually are the most insecure people you'll meet. People that are actually "alpha" doesnt put the need to berate others and lives their life happily. It's just obnoxious to listen to Greek at this point (although it's fascinating to watch). Hopefully he finds some peace because something is definitely gotten to him.

I feel like greek is in a really really bad place mentally, I don't think he really has bad core values honestly - just really insecure and lost, should probably honestly just give up on social media for a while and come back mentally strong?
He did leave social media during his weight loss journey. He came back brand new... so as his personality sadly. If he does leave another time, hopefully it fixes him.
Greek literally is the textbook of a guy that found success (losing weight) and now hate everyone else that can't do the same. I am happy for Greeks weight loss, however I am questioning why he became fat in the first place with such an "alpha" mentality. My point being, perhaps not everyone is at that mental place yet where they can make a drastic change in their life, like I assume he wasn't all those years *before* losing weight. And while we're all full of excuses in trying to avoid these changes, overcoming them is no small task. It takes a lot of trial and error for most of us, before being able to break that self-deprecating cycle. It took me sadly many years before I was capable of losing weight, and not from a lack of trying. The important part was that I never gave up.
The thing is though, he had the absolute best possible scenario to lose weight in. He found fame on twitch by being a leech and emote farmer, probably the exact opposite of what he is preaching now. That fame garnered him a lot of fans, many of whom wanted him to lose weight and get healthy, and they were ready to wait for him to lose weight before he returns to streaming. When he was doing his weight loss he would turn on the stream once a month just to collect donations and resubs then disappear, always keeping up the hope that he'll be a regular streamer when he loses weight. This essentially meant that he was PAID to lose weight and had no other obligations or worries at all in that period of time. I wholeheartedly believe that at least 3/4 of people who ever wanted to lose weight and failed would have been successful, if they had a full year of absolutely no obligations or worries other than weight loss and were paid to do it. Most people losing weight have to deal with education, work, other health issues, money probles and numerous other things at the same time.

@@JackCarsonite For many people, it's more than just controlling your calories. I mean yes, that is the essence of it when you boil it down to the purest form. But at least in my case, being fat and using food as a substitute for deeper emotional baggage makes it harder to let go of these problematic tendencies. Sometimes there's a slew of issues that needs to be addressed /worked on first, before you can successfully substitute your food with a healthier alternative. Especially if you've conditioned yourself to use food as a means to deal with your shit.
It's easy to jut it all down to self control, and people that can't do it to just being "weak" or a bunch of lazy bums, especially from a position of having the emotional and financial support necessary to make a successful change. There's a reason why so many people keep falling back into old habits when trying to quit smoking/doing drugs/gambling/eating you name it, and it can't always be as simple as a lack of self control. I have a problem with eating, but I don't have a problem with gambling. And I could easily sit here and shake my head at people tossing their money at a slot machine, but at the end of the day I simply do not feel that rush that people that gamble feel. So how could I ever expect to know how it feels like to be addicted to it and then have the gall to tell them they are just weak, or lack self control.

For me, exercise completely shuts my thinking down. It's a welcome rest, and it creates a sense of clarity of a kind - but I might as well be braindead for the next hour or so.

Just a bit of info, for people like Greekgodx: I'm 196 cm (6.4 feets) height and 125 kg (275 lbs) weight dude (14 years of gym practice). I was trained Judo for 5 years, i practiced few other martial arts things (not for long, but still.). Now i'm learning how to fight with swords (HEMA) and with knife (just reading about modern knife fight and so on and compare to old one styles.)
For 29 years of my life i was in fights (real one with broken bones and so on) just few times. 3 or 4 times in total. And i have something to say to dudes like Tate and Greek... Your "battle awareness"... It's a bullshit. You can't be always aware and you can't get "used" to this cinda of mindset.
It's a lot of stress for your mental health, and if you "get used" to that state of your mind - it's a bad call.
Dudes like Tate and Greek trying so hard to be an "Alphamale", but you know what? Alpha don't trying to be alpha, he just alpha and it's it. Asmon more Alpha than Greek and Tate.
And i'm highly doubt in Greek/Tate martial art practice and so on. Because with years of training you become more calm and you have more control over your aggression. And phrases like "I wanna punch you in the face."... It's childish aggression... And its marks you like a person with weak mind.
P.S. If i can be a strong man and fights back, i probably will start to protect persons who are weaker than me. But not bitching about people who are weaker than me.
