Thank you I have struggled to even make my system work but after watching you it did ! Saved me pulling my hair out as I think for the money I paid they are far to complicated and the screens are terrible, thank you for your you tube.
Thanks for this video, the only missleading fact was the side button, the other one its not for the light, its for the on/off autofocus assist beam light :). I was struggleing to find out what was it for, as the light as you pointed, will come on even if that swich is off :)
Thank you for your excellent videos. Based on your reviews, I have invested in the GODOX system and I'm pleased. You indicate that the 2nd 'slide' switch is for turning the panel illumination 'on' (if I understood you correctly) but it appears to control the Auto Focus illumination. Yes?
It's for Autofocus assist. It has nothing to do with the display light he's talking about. :) Basically, when you half-press the shutter (or back-button focus), it fires the light to help AF in lowlight condition.
hi Alex, I am using x1 trigger for nikon. Flash and trigger are sync but hss not working. Above 320 Shutter speed, the picture darken below like normal flash speed. please tell me. . .
I’ve got the X1 and X2 and four TT600s for my A7RIII. I’m probably never going to buy Godox again. It’s been almost a month and I have not yet been able to get these things to fire once.
I'm really sorry your experience hasn't been good. May I suggest you try the Godox User Group (facebook.com/groups/godoxusergroup/) in facebook? The moderator is Rob Hall, who does a great job at making it a helpful community
Thank you and thanks for replying. I actually to them to a camera store that carried the same brand. I purchased 2 pair from Amazon that didn’t work. The local camera store has tons that work properly. I was kind of venting sorry about that. Thanks for the nice video, I know how hard this stuff is.
David Stephens no worries, I know how frustrating it may be to get some gear and it not working properly. Would you like to share some of the images you're creating with your new gear?
Hi Alex, thank you for the videos as usual. Is there any way to turn off the auto-sleep settings? I shoot buildings and I walk around, and I hate this setting can't be changed as far as I know... Thank you for the help!
Parabéns pelo video Alex. Eu tenho uma dúvida, com esse transmissor eu preciso de receptores para os flash? Estou buscando um para disparar meus flashs de estúdio.
Im just waiting for my X1T to arrive, but a question, Do my speedlites need to have a receiver attached? Or is there a setting on the flash that allows it to fire just with the X1T? Speedlites are the canon 430EXIII-RT and the new 600EX
I have the Flashpoint Xplor 600 TTL R2 strobe along with the Godox X1 T trigger. Everything works fine except the TTL compensation. I am not able to adjust that from the trigger itself. I have firmware version 2.2 on the strobe and it does not give me an option of choosing sony, just canon and nikon. Not sure if this is the issue. I have tried from both pc and mac to update firmware with no luck. Any advice?
I'm afraid my experience with the Xplor/AD600 is very limited. However, I'd suggest you to bring your case to the Godox User Group in Facebook (facebook.com/groups/godoxusergroup/). Rob Hall is the moderator and it's a great community.
I am shooting manually. Would it be smarter to buy two TT600s instead of on TT600s and one x1T? Only 22 bucks more and can do the same (don't care about TTL) and have another flash. Is this correct? Can a TT600s control another TT600s like the x1T does it?
Anyone with a X1T (I have a canon) that is having issues getting 5 groups. I have already set custom function 6 to 5 but still only groups A B C appear?
Hi there! According to Godox' website, the TT520II wireless operates on a different frequency so, I'm afraid it's not compatible with the X1T transmitter.
yeah hi, can i use this trigger on my canon camera and can i use it with my osaka flash and godox sk400ii . i already have osaka trigger so can i use this trigger on godox transmiter which you are showing.
Hi! You can control the SK400ii with the X1T, according to the Godox website. However, I'm not familiar with Osaka flashes, so I'm not sure you could also control those :-(
Bro, i have this Godox TT685 & godox x1t nikon trigger. when i connect my flash to trigger there is test flash button on Godox x1t trigger. so when i click it flash fires means my flash and trigger are in same channel. but when i attached my Godox X1t trigger to my camera and click photos on manual mode flash does not fires? what will be reason will you please help me out? i am new in off camera photography
If you place the flash on top of the trigger and then press Test, it doesn't mean they are on the same channel. Look at the channel indicators in both the transmitter and the flash. :-)
Thank you at last someone who goes through all this slowly. I now have my transmitter set. Next is the TT586 flashgun!
Thanks. Bought my X1 yesterday, and was stuck on how to go about operating it.You are so resorceful

Fantastic!
As instructors go, you have talent. But also a calm demeanor--which means I forgot I was learning. Nice.
Thanks a lot for your kind words!
Thank you for this Alex, clear and simple!
You're very welcome! Thanks for your comment :-D

You're right, my mistake 🤦♂️
Thank you so much Alex. Another helpful tutorial.
Harold B Thank you! I'm glad I can help a little :-)

You're welcome 😊
Can you do a tutorial for the Godox X2T trigger? That would be great. Thank you.
I'll do it as soon as I get my hands on one :-)
thank you Alex, can you go thru the Fn setings
I have watched it several times, but still having a problem getting A to move down to the white arrow. How did you get the A to move down?
Very cool video. Thanks a lot!!!
Thanks for the comment! I'm glad I could help :-)
I have both the Sony and Nikon versions. The Nikon has the 5 channels available but the Sony trigger only has 3 channels available.
you have to go into the hidden menu to activate the other 2 groups, not channels :)
that button on for the light dose not work ? please be explain in more details

Dan Pratte you are correct. It’s not power for the panel display back light. 🤦🏼♂️ It’s for the auto focus assist.
It's for Autofocus assist. It has nothing to do with the display light he's talking about. :) Basically, when you half-press the shutter (or back-button focus), it fires the light to help AF in lowlight condition.
That's correct, I made a mistake in my description 🤦♂️

If you use Godox studio flashes, like the AD400 or 600, or the SK400II, this transmitter should work.
Good video except a little hard to see the screen of the the X1T-s as you describe its options.
Thanks! I'll keep that in mind for future videos :-)
When I change exposure compensation on the x1t the numbers do not change on my AD200 for some reason. Can’t figure out why

Hi Alex, I accidentally reset my X1t now i am not able to set the mode to Manual or use any other button please solve my problem anyone!?
Does the hotshoe on the X1T TTL flash?
Anyone with a X1T (I have a canon) that is having issues getting 5 groups. I have already set custom function 6 to 5 but still only groups A B C appear?
Thanks a lot.
Glad to help
can a fuji trigger work with sony godox flash like the tt350
I am struggling - at 3:03 when you scroll the wheel nothing happens - What do I need to do to make it work please
Hi! I was trying to select a group to make changes to. Did your X1T work?
It's because in the vid he in fact uses R2 T-F. It has slightly different settings.
Can it connect to the Godox TT520II flash??? Please help.
Hi there! According to Godox' website, the TT520II wireless operates on a different frequency so, I'm afraid it's not compatible with the X1T transmitter.
Dose this work with the flash point xplor 600
Hi I have v860ii for canon and I have sony a7ii
The trigger x1t for sony it's compatible with my v860ii for Canon?
Yes, it should be compatible
Alex, please tell me if it is Nikon CLS Compatible...if yes then how?
Swarup Bhattacharyya I'm afraid this is not compatible with Nikon CLS :-(
yeah hi, can i use this trigger on my canon camera and can i use it with my osaka flash and godox sk400ii . i already have osaka trigger so can i use this trigger on godox transmiter which you are showing.

What are groups for?
So a "group" is a flash?
That is correct! I'm planning a new video to explain channels, groups and other settings, from scratch.
Can it transmit TTL to tt685 off camera?
Yes, it can. That's how I've used it many times.

Did you ever solve this? I have the same issue, same channel and group.
Bought this yesterday and still can't open the battery compartment.......anyone else have trouble with this?
I had trouble also. I finally got it off with a rubber jar opener which allowed me to get a better grip.
I put on rubber gloves and that helped get a better grip on the battery door.
Hi Alex could you explain me how to turn off APP mode or change that function?
Can the X1T-N be used on a Sony a7ii hotshoe?
Would it work on andoer hss flashes?
I think it won't work
